Poem a Day: Hurling the Writer

😈😈

Or just patting him on the back for trolling, and a crappy ending.

(edited picture because if I’m going to push somebody off a cliff into a pit of fire, I might as well look nice while doing it. lol)

Whatever it is you APaD viewers choose to do, remember be classy, sassy, and witty bitches.

If you’re a MinHo Supporter, don’t read this news from nearsea.

infernal

wretched

doomed

execrable

abominable

imbecile

accursed

damnable

vapid

hackneyed

I’m trying to think of all the words to describe the writer… because “sorry ass” isn’t enough, nearsea….  🙂

Spoiler.

.

.

.

I don’t know if you girls have seen this or not, but on APAD’s wrap up party event, there was a celebratory cake and it had Dr.Ye and BY’s picture on it. :/ Do we have any more chance? I don’t think so. So stop thinking about this sorry a$$ writer! Not worth our time actually. Sorry about the bad words. 😅😅

**********************

Edited to add this:

😂 nearsea. If you’re referring to the cake with pic of BY and Ye’s spring/cherry blossom date which was circulated on twitter, wasn’t that cake donated by fans??!! If it was a donation by shippers, then producers could hardly reject it. 😜😆

Show me other photos of production team posing beside cake, or another “official” cake and I might consider it as proof of endgame.

I’ll just have to wait and see what happens in this kdrama.

Thanks nearsea for the heads-up. I hope it’s an engagement cake and that they can slice it together. 😈🤦‍♀️😂 But she’ll go “Please Sir, will you do me the honors of cutting the cake with me.”
    Happy Mother’s Day!

  3. Follow-up from packmule3:

Btw, what are you watching now? I’m having fun with My Husband Oh something something.

But I’m looking for something to obsess over in the next few weeks. Am leaving for Singapore 🇸🇬 in a few days.

😂😂😂 LOLL. I am puzzled that people are cheering for this weird relationship. Do people first take permission and kiss their partners? I find it creepy and annoying at the same time lol.

Happy mothers day dear PM3! And have fun on your tour! ^^

Ah the only drama which has me hooked right now is ‘my ahjussi’. I don’t know if this one is up to your alley [or if you’re okay with age gap relationships] but I like the moody tone of the drama and the main actor is quite phenomenal in playing a lost, betrayed man. I am not doing justice to the story by speaking about it in 2-3 lines so you should watch and see for yourself if this one interests you. But I know the only thing which is the driving force for you is the story, so you won’t be disappointed I think haha. Sadly the next week is finals week so maybe we should have watched this one together instead of APAD. -_-
But I would still love to read your impressions about the drama and the characters since you always manage to see so many details that we ordinary ones fail to notice.

Anyway, I still had fun watching APAD and dissecting the characters here on your blog with you and the other people I saw here. ^^ I guess I would still watch the last episodes to know what happens to min ho. We can’t just leave him alone, can we? 😂😂

I’m also watching my husband oh jak doo, but the makjang really gets on my nerves at times. 😂😂 Especially the mother and the brother. These two need Dr. Ye in their life. I saw your comments on the show and that you love the 2nd lead. 😂😂 Poor guy needs to be put in the zoo so I can see why you like him haha. His caricatures are hard to ignore.

  5. Response from packmule3:

Shucks. I had wanted to watch that IU show, too. IU and the ahjussi would have made a nice counterpoint to the icky relationship between BoYoung and Ye.

Didn’t you notice? I stopped using “Dr” before Ye’s name. It was a conscious decision.

The second lead in My Husband Oh Jakdoo is NOT serious contender. He’s not a second lead, per se. He doesn’t pose a credible challenge to the hero but he’s more like a comedic relief.

edited to add this: the actor also looks like a colleague of mine. It’s uncanny. There really is a doppelganger.

Nope. I don’t watch the mother/brother moments. They have ZERO entertainment value but a 100% nuisance value. So I just skip their scenes.

I’m not “touring” Singapore. It’s for work so I’ve to don my “official” hat instead of my “tourist” hat.

  6. Nearsea 😂

If you’re referring to the cake with pic of BY and Ye’s spring/cherry blossom date which was circulated on twitter, wasn’t that cake donated by fans??!! If it was a donation by shippers, or a “sponsored cake,” then producers could hardly reject it. 😜😆

I’ll just have to wait and see what happens in this kdrama.

But right now, the ball is in BoYoung’s court. She gets to determine who she likes based on what kind of love she wants. If she wants a man she must live UP to for the rest of her life, then her smart choice is Ye. If she wants a man she can live WITH and grow old with, then the only choice is MinHo.

With Ye, she’s a child trying to catch up with an older man. With MinHo, she’s her natural self. She thinks MinHo’s the choding, when in Ye’s eyes, SHE is a choding too.

But I’m telling you though. Even if Boyoung decides on MH, I can’t accept her unless she proves her love for him with hard-core action. It’s actually easier if the drama ends with Ye.

  7. I’ve been laughing a lot today at the first part of this
“(edited picture because if I’m going to push somebody off a cliff into a pit of fire, I might as well look nice while doing it. lol)” Hahahahaaaa.

  8. Is it a spoiler already..the cake I mean? If the kiss sealed the whole deal then I guess this drama is a typical kdrama where heroine kisses her half of the otp. I wished it would still surprise us for that twist we are hoping for.
Yeliners would surely cuss the writers if it changes. But for us it would be a natural flow of the story. Sorry I started this drama but don’t have the will to finish.

    On another note…
You MUST binge watch My Ahjussi. It is a good drama. There were times I want to curse on IU’s character coz of her duplicity which is a need to survive. Talk about the end justifies the means. If you watched Misaeng..think it has the same pace.

  9. Oh and I forgot…
I will not push the writers…
    Will kick their asses😂
    Coz I, too, am a bitch😂😂😂

    Ohhhh…anyone lurking here?

  10. Hahaha. Kick their asses.

  11. Yo! this girl who has a final in less than five hours is back.

So I was talking to someone on twitter about our wonderful minho and how is misjudged and so..

Why didnt minho like her back in college?
this is because boyoung parceled herself to be this perfect person in front of him , he saw through that fakeness and didnt buy it. He might have acknowledged her feelings for him but considering that she liked the idea of him. You see, in all their interactions in college, boyoung kept him doing what she wanted him to do. for instance , she didn’t teach him how to do his work but did it for him. why? cause that fit in her mindset of this rich kid who is lazy to do any work. she didnt make him grow..
he probably saw tons of people try to look their best for his parents and brother and is sick of such behaviour and thus it looked despicable to him. and that’s why he rejected her.

After working at the hospital, seeing her trip and fall, having a kind heart towards patients, seeing her real self not the self she plasters on in front of other to “look good” he fell in love with her. he fell in love with her real boyoung self. the girl who tries hard and is positive despite her setbacks. the girl who can’t say no. the girl who had to give up her dreams.the girl who gets teary over small things. the girl who forgot poetry…

and the reason why he isnt buying this dr ye bullshit is because like he says in the preveiw, she isnt her real self around dr ye. Minho is mad that BoYoung isn’t herelf w dr Ye because he fell in love with those realistic parts of her. He loves her for being herself. And the fact that Dr Ye doesn’t see that nor value that angers him. that she isn’t being valued and loved for what she truly is. It isnt about claming who is the better man for boyoung. it is who can boyoung be the version of herself with?

That answer is clear as the fact that my professor is an ass who deserves hell.

You know what’s my perfect ending? Minho opening a cafe in the hospital, interacting with patients, learning poetry, and just being himself and happy.. and then falling in love with this nurse who seems to always get into trouble for having the right intentions. can we make this into a drama? i won’t add any stupid plots or any lame love triangles…

oh, and from all the characters in the show, it is safe to say that minho is the only one who showed a wide variety of emotions and is growing as a human

  12. The only word I’m going to associate with “binge” right now is lobster. 😂

I’ve been binge-eating lobster this Mother’s Day weekend that I’ve satisfied my annual quota of these crustaceans. I don’t want to see another one till next year. 😳

I might not have time for My Ahjussi. I’m going on another trip soon.

Don’t know about the cake. I read the initials D.C. and thought it might be related to the Internet forum DC gallery where fans huddle around.

  13. 👍 I like your version of a perfect ending. Mine is he learns to be the hospital administrator (hey! He did well when he figured out that the patient was abusing the disability pay and that Ye shouldn’t be disclosing confidential employee records like grades.), runs his family’s hospitals and falls in love with a capable woman who’ll be his life partner. None of this lame continuous “looking out” for BoYoung’s interest/ happiness.

  14. I hope you did well on your finals.

I thought the director (or actor) complimented the actor portraying Ye JaeWook and said that he’d be good in melodrama. Judging by his interaction with Lee YuBi (or “chemistry”), he shouldn’t be doing romcom. He looks like a fish out of water and I’m underwhelmed by his presence in this kdrama. Even the actor playing Dr Park is a bigger hit for me whenever he appears in the same scene as Ye JaeWook.

  15. 😈 If I can’t join them, I might as well laugh at them.

  16. Meh. The exam was okay.

Thank you. And it happens to be that my major is hospital administration! 😂😂😂

I’m really hoping for a good ending

  17. HAHAHAHA I am in love with your drawing skills. Mostly the creative content. I would also like to push her to the bottom of a volcano. Where she can burn forever. 😂😂😂 [yes I saw that preview of episode 16]. Wow she really has nothing new going on, does she? Well ye,bo young and the stupid writer can go to their own la la land. I am not even making sense anymore. 😂😂

Ah I was going to request you to binge watch “my ahjussi” so I could read your wonderful reviews once the show is over. But this girl can wait. 😄😎😎

Noo. 😭😭😭 I should have suggested this earlier. Damn. They really are a far better pair compared to ye and bo young. Also there is no power imbalance which is clearly there in ‘ye and bo young’..although hush thinks there ‘is’ a power imbalance between ahjussi and Ji An in ‘My ahjussi’. 😂😂 I would have loved to see how you would have reacted haha. Also so many comments on DB where people want it to be just a platonic relationship not a lovey dovey one, which is amusing. I wonder why people are reluctant to watch any dramas with age gap relationships when especially the men are older, but they dig the noona romances. Strange.

“Didn’t you notice? I stopped using “Dr” before Ye’s name. It was a conscious decision.”
😂😂😂 Wise choice must say haha. Ye doesn’t deserve that dr. title. -_-

The second lead in My Husband Oh Jakdoo is NOT serious contender. He’s not a second lead, per se. He doesn’t pose a credible challenge to the hero but he’s more like a comedic relief.

He is! Lol I get so much laughs from his dilemma regarding how to approach the girl. 😂😂 At least this time I am not heartbroken over a second lead lol.

edited to add this: the actor also looks like a colleague of mine. It’s uncanny. There really is a doppelganger.

Oh wow. But if you have any time in hand, the guy was amazing as a villainous comic relief on ‘woman of dignity’. I do think he has a great sense of comic timing.

Nope. I don’t watch the mother/brother moments. They have ZERO entertainment value but a 100% nuisance value. So I just skip their scenes.

Exactly. I skip their scenes as well. What made it click for me was the dependency the girl had for the country man at first, I really love the first couple of episodes and there was something sweet about falling for a man who isn’t absorbed by the urban life. And also the fact that he doesn’t do small talks or any thing double standard which anyone who has conformed to city life will by default. Even Seung joo. So his ethics and moral issues were something refreshing for a kdrama hero. I also like the fact that the killer’s son is being adopted by the grandmas? [Although I have yet to watch the recent episodes!]
P.S: I ‘love’ the three ahjummas. They are more like three fairy godmothers of Cinderella haha.

Woah, haha. Hope you still have a good time!
