These are my random notes to tide us over till tomorrow/tonight’s episode.
1. @tsutsuloo mentioned this fluttery moment in Episode 6. He looked around and saw how empty his apartment was without her.
I said that typically in kdramas the guy’s home is usually cold and sterile and the gal’s home is warm and cozy.
But one thing I did notice here is he had second thoughts that night. When the bro invited him to stay over, he paused. Then in the next scene, we could see him widely smiling behind the bro. He seemed excited to stay over. lol.
And then when she invited to stay here indefinitely until he was healed, he couldn’t hide his happiness.
Yes, her place was definitely more homey and welcoming than his.
2. If you want the recipe for the mille feuille nabe, I found out a good one.

It called for napa cabbage, shabu-shabu beef, perilla leaves, bok choy, enoki mushrooms and shiitake mushrooms.

3. @Agdr03, I think they were boxer briefs. lol. And no, you won’t be censored here. hahaha. It’s too funny that she avoided looking down. She’s 31 years old, for pete’s sake!
4. Yah! This is the wrong way to wear a shirt when you have an injury. Why didn’t he put the other arm (injured side) though the sleeves first? And didn’t he have comfy sweatpants or something without buttons??! Ugh! This is sooo obvious, director.
5. The only photograph at his home seems to be this one with his mother.
lol. He could borrow one of the many photographs of YJ at her home or get one of these promotional posters.
6. Speaking of moms, she was weird. She said she worried when she heard the news of her son being injured but she didn’t call him up and she didn’t ask where his injury was.
YJ noticed that he winced but didn’t say anything. Ditzy mom.
7. I like it when he fusses over her when she’s asleep.
Like this in Episode 5
And then patting her back like she was a baby in Episode 6.
8. Interesting: the attacker was first-time offender. It better than be you, BFF! lol. The glamping site was at your villa. 🤪

Why was Woo-Hyun peering through the peephole? Making sure Yoo-Jung was really gone? Regret that he sent her away? Initial relief at finally being alone?
Wither the all the fire extinguishers in WH’s house?
He had so many that Yoo-Jung couldn’t help comment on them.
Self-portraits only
This isn’t the first show I’ve seen where female characters have huge portraits of themselves in the house. It’s weirdly funny, even for an actor. Still, I like how WH smiles when he glimpses advertisements of YJ around the city (as @packmule3 observed in another post.)
Cooking from memory with what’s available
Every meal they share is important in some way and I loved how YJ made something so special from whatever she found in the fridge. Kudos to WH from having a well-stocked fridge, of course. It’s no wonder that fans on Viki are asking the actors to cook something together as a fan reward if the Fluttering Alert becomes the #1 show on Viki.
No wrist grabs
Most times I find wrist grabs an immediate turn off. Not a single one spotted so far!

1 – WH really likes the fact that she cares for him or should I say that she’s concerned for him. 🙂
2 – That dish looks good and I love mushrooms too. My boy’s not so 🙁

I’m not really sure what’s going to happen in tonight’s episode but it looks like WH will be moving out already, thanks to BFF. Oh I want them to go on that beach get away already hehehe
We will see which one on our list will make it through tonight. Can’t wait! 🙂

I thought WH was looking through the peephole to make sure she was really gone. He thought she’d return and invade his house again on one pretext or another. 😂
The fire extinguishers are probably gone (good eye there!) bec he conquered his fear of fire after saving her.
The self-portraits were funny bec they were all glamour shots!! It reminded me of You Who Came From the Stars. The heroine was also playing an actress and she had this humongous photograph of herself. I wondered if the real actress could keep the prop after the show.
Really? The Viki fans are asking for cook-fest? Too funny. The actor eats pretty well. He can do a muk-bang or eating show. I feel hungry just watching him gulp down the food.
I dislike wrist grabs too. I bruise easily so if I were the actress and the scene called for a wrist grab, I’d better do it in one take or two, because my skin would look purple afterwards.
There hasn’t been a wrist grab because he doesn’t stop her from leaving.

1. I think he likes her fussing over him because his mom never did. With other actresses, when I see them do the concerned-girlfriend act, I roll my eyes bec it’s so unoriginal. But with YEH I’m smiling back at my laptop and thinking “how cute!”
2. I checked out the recipe bec I wasn’t sure what the two brown round things floating on top were. They looked like hot cross buns but what were they doing in a soup?? 🤪
5. I don’t know when he got that photo. He doesn’t seem to have a lot of family pictures around though. And he should take a picture of her and frame it for his bedside table. That’s the boyfriend thing to do!

I’m beginning to like all their scenes in her van. They look cozy and they get to converse with each other. I think that’s one of the things that sets this romcom apart from others. There’s actually a lot of conversation going on between the OTP so we can sense them getting to know and like each other. They aren’t merely falling in love with the physical beauty but with the way the other person actually thinks and acts.
8. It can also be this mysterious step-brother. 🤪

YES! WH likes her fussing over him. He enjoys the attention he receives from her. The way he reacted and responded at 17:20 gave me that idea; He was happily eating and commenting that “You’d think I was the guest here” when she ran off to do the laundry. He looked quite happy to have someone with me at that point in time.

@anna_tan that’s the better word, natural 🙂 I really don’t see the fake relationship with the way they talk and act. The only thing missing is our kiss. Which did not happen in this episode. Bummer! I wonder when?
@packmule3 Hmmm is it the same stalker before WH got stabbed? YJ said to the Police it was the same built. What’s the time frame on her stalker?
Our milk couple are getting cuter and cuter by the minute but still no kiss. Aish!!!
