Actor1: A shark?
CJM: Wrong. (giving a clue) I almost lost the most important thing in my life because of this.
Seriously, I thought he meant he lost his manhood. lol.
Actor2: Did you lose the surfing board?
CJM: Nope. I’ll show you this. (he demonstrates paddling on a surfboard) This is paddling. Yup, this thing happened while I was doing paddling.
Actor3: You couldn’t get out of the waves when doing paddling (and you overturned).
CJM: Nope, that’s still not the answer but you’re close. I was doing all kinds of surfing techniques in the ocean.
Heechul: Answer! You lie down and fight against the waves. So you did too much paddling and because of the friction, your chest…so that’s why you don’t have one side of the chest.
CJM: (starts laughing) You got it!
lol. CJM’s laughter is cute. You should hear it.
CJM: I need to wear all kinds of sportswear. But I did surfing only with pants. But because I fought against the waves too much, when I arrive at the final destination, my friend saw my chest, saying, “Ya! Look at your chest!” (He looks down) And I knew that the nipple of my chest was about to fall off.
Heechul: And your friend should have said, “How do you do?”
CJM: (laughs at loud)
Heechul: Right! (explaining his joke) “How do” means “What happened?” and “you do” means “nipple” in Korean!!
Very witty. “You do” sounds like “yudo” which means nipple in Korean.
CJM: (still laughing at the joke)
Heechul: How can your nipple have a new flesh again? Will there be a new nipple?
CJM: I’ve a got a new nipple.

Heechul’s wordplay was witty but what struck me was that CJM’s nipple regenerated after this surfing accident.
That’s the first I’ve heard of nipples growing back so my instant reaction was confusion.
Whut?! Really?
Then, I started laughing.
What the heck?? Is he a starfish??
Or is he some kind of salamander?
Can he grow a nipple back in a different color, like neon orange?

Marathon runners experience the same thing. When my husband trained for his first marathon, he didn’t realize he needed to protect his nips from the abrasion of his running shirt. Bleeding nipples is a pretty common injury.

He's a surfer; lives in La Jolla, San Diego so he can surf before and after work. He said that surfers and runners do get chafed skin there. I never notice it when I jog because I wear sports bra. lol.
