Fluttering Alert: YEH’s Leading Actors

On the seventh day of Christmas, my true love sent to me…
Seven former male costars
Six references to YEH’s real life
Five words to text (“Merry Christmas, I love you”)
Four gifs of WH (and four of YJ, too)
Three parents-in-law
Two texting couple
And a fluttering love story.

Here are YEH’s male costars that I know of:

1. Goong: Joo JiHoon. Didn’t like his tsundere character on the show and didn’t like the drug scandal he was involved in.

2. Vineyard Man: Oh ManSuk. Of course, I’d watched a kdrama about vineyard operations but I would’ve been more engrossed had it been about wineries. IIRC the male character was an agriculture professor posing as a country bumpkin and laborer at the vineyard. He was a good man but he wasn’t much to look at. When it came to physical beauty, they were a mismatched.

3. Coffee Prince: Gong Yoo seems like a cool guy but I bet you dollars to donuts that he’s a difficult man to live with. There could be only one diva in any relationship with GY and it wouldn’t be the girl.

4. My Fair Lady: Yun Sang-Hyun. The story didn’t appeal to me for a couple of reasons. One, YEH played a rich spoiled brat and the guy’s her butler. I often steer clear of kdrama’s involving employer/employee relationships. Two, the actor looks oily.

5. Lie to Me: Kang Ji-hwan. Don’t remember the plot. But I remember the actor because of his scandal. Pictures of him sleeping in bed were taken without his permission and uploaded on Facebook. I never understood his popularity so I didn’t get why a fan would want to brag about being in bed with him.

6. I Remember You: Park YooChun. I skipped because I dislike melodramas.

7. Fluttering Alert: Chun JungMyung. I like him the best. His temperament appears laidback and he seems to indulge YEH’s whims.

  1. I like GY, JJH, KJH, and CJM when paired with YEH. If given the chance to work again with any of these actors I would like CJM and GY the most.

I’ll try to watch that video later. Here at the local pool while hubby and eldest son takes care of 3 year old niece enjoying it.

    😘

  2. Awww. That’s sweet, your son taking care of the his cousin.

I like Gong Yoo but according to this site, https://kfanatics.com/gong-yoo-dating-gong-yoo-girlfriend/, he had this to say about marriage:

“I think it is important to have a life with a woman whom I love as an actor and also as a man. But I have no fantasies about marriage.”

“Married life is going to be hard at times but I want to feel everything no matter how hard it is. I also wonder how it is like to see my baby who resembles me stare at me,” he added.

“Dating somebody has become hard for me because I got used to being single,” he said. “I won’t try randomly choose a partner and just leave things to chance “.

    ********
When he said, “I have no fantasies about marriage,” I did a mental wince. I agree that marriage is tough but I’m actually speaking from experience. hahaha.

When HE (who’s still single) already perceives marriage as tough before actually entering the union, his mindset or attitude can skew his actions toward his spouse and become a self-fulfilling prophesy. If he doesn’t have any fantasies or hopes and dreams about married life, then he’s looking at a very wearisome and uninspired and lackluster future with his loved one.

  3. @packmule3—Reading your description of Yun Sang-Hyun as “oily” just about busted my gut. Heeeeee.

I will admit that I’m totally biased in favor for Chun Jung Myung because I just saw them together in Fluttering Alert and find him too adorable on variety shows and BTS clips. I know you can’t marry everyone you have good chemistry with but … they gave us something pretty special.

One plus for Kang Ji Hwan—he becomes quite appealing with glasses. He wore them in Feel Good To Die/Happy If You Died and it was a good look.

  4. If I were YEH’s fairy godmother, I’d have trouble picking between Gong Yoo and Chun Jung Myung. But CJM seems kinder, more indulgent, and more optimistic so I’ll probably pick him for her.

  5. Oh if GY said that about marriage then I’m doubting at all if he will ever settle down. I feel acting is more important to him.

I want CHM to be YEH’s future husband 🙏😉😂 Faith wise they compliment each other already 😊

Amanda, my niece enjoyed it very much. She loves her big cousin ☺️

  6. In my opinion, YEH has great chemistry with all her male partners in dramas especially with GY, JJH, KJH & CJM. I believe its her dedication and passion to immerse herself into every role, that’s why she look great with those men in dramas.

Pacmule, did you say GY is a cool guy but difficult to live with? Ha ha ha. YEH & GY have developed solid friendship so I’m pretty sure (with YEH’s character), she can stand being with him, focusing on his good sides but ignore his imperfections forever. I swear lol.

But, would it be better for YEH to find a kind, thoughtful & dignified man who will treat her like a princess? If that is the case, YEH does not have to make conscious effort to adjust to her man. Oh better to choose an easy & sweet relationship rather than toxic relationship.

Btw, I Miss You have fluttering moments between the leads. They have also good chemistry. In fact, I can bear the heartbreaking scenes there (I Miss You) rather than in episodes 10, 11 & 12 of Love Alert, ironically.

How I wish YYJ & CWH have more fluttering moments (not necessarily kissings)?, it will be daebak. Have a great days ahead to all of you.
