What dramas are you watching now? Can you recommend good romcoms? Even old ones will do? I want something light-hearted.
My good friend mslee writes that she’s juggling quite a number of new dramas lately.

But I’m still searching for my kdramas.
The Great Seducer/Temptation is on my list.
Possible kdramas to binge on this weekend:
Marry Me Now. This might interest me because I haven’t watched a gentle romance about doctors in ages.
Grand Prince. I watched the first two episodes. And Yoon SiYoon
Eulachacha Waikiki. Is this like “Three Men and a Baby?”
But I’m skipping:
Evergreen/That Man Oh Soo because I don’t like that Gangnam Ahjumma, Kim SoEun (hahaha)
My Ahjussi. I heard rumblings about violence. I don’t want to check it out. Plus, IU’s nasal profile bugs me. (See? I’m shallow as a puddle.)
Let’s Hold Hands and Watch the Sunset. About divorce??? Why should I care about somebody’s marital problems???
Hwayugi (the last four episodes). Because when I get super-duper frustrated with the plot, I randomly bite people and I need my rabies vaccination updated. lol.
As for variety shows, I still have to catch up on my 2Days, 1Night episodes. Where can I watch this “Youn’s kitchen” you recommended, mslee?

I think i will just watch random episodes of those dramas I listed but will keep Great Seducer. Hope we get our happy ever after ending in this drama though. Jang Dong Gun’s movie version of Dangerous Liaison was tragic😕.
I think you should watch Welcome Waikiki for some laughs. 😂 as for romcoms… Old drama – Greatest Love?
Have you watched YoonA and Lee Bum Soo with Yoon Shi Yoon in Prime Minister and I? This is romcom. I enjoyed this one.
Yes! I watched Prime Minister and I with Yoona. I liked it too. I didn’t mind the age difference bec I thought Yoona’s character was old-fashioned anyway.

I hope we get a happy ending, too for The Great Seducer. I know in the novel, the male protagonist “deserved” to die because he was a total jackass. He was irredeemable.
But in this kdrama, Shihyun is not altogether bad. He’s been given reformable qualities and the scriptwriter made sure that his bad actions had sufficient motivations or extenuating circumstances. This is true too for Sejoo and SooJi. They aren’t bad to the core (although SJ might have a borderline personality disorder?).
However I do find it odd that some people ship SH with SJ.
To me, that kind of relationship is emotionally exhausting. SJ is just too volatile – and dramatic – to make a good spouse.
Kudos to the actor portraying SJ. She’s killing that role. 👍
If you haven’t, Wise Prison Living!!!! Lots of bromance and little romance. But so so funny. There’s some slapstick comedy (not my fave) but so oh-so-precious moments.
you’r back!!. i got really worried that u might have fallen somehwere and you really fell of you’r bed!?!!!! hope you are feeling well and you wrist is healing . missed you’r recaps for the last 4 eps of hwayugi and after the crappy ending i don’t want to there.
as for recomendations i started my ahjushi because signal is my number one kdrama and though i was not thrilled with the title or iu , it’s fun and iu is a real bitch , so you might like it . and as for variety biased but master in the house is hilarious .
Is My Ahjussi good? I intended to watch it because I wanted to support IU’s project. I was glad she wasn’t afraid to venture out of her comfort zone and portray a gritty character.
But with this Great Seducer kdrama, I don’t think I can handle two dark shows back-to-back. For my mental health 😂, I should watch something light and fluffy to balance my already heavy workdays.
Master in the House? I don’t think I’ve heard of that before. I used to watch Running Man then I switched to 2Days, 1Night. That show always has me in stitches.
I like watching the old Family Outing with Jae Suk, Hyori and Big Bang’s Daesung.
There are three comedians I canNOT stand though.
1. That large fat guy with a loud mouth, Kang Ho Dong. He used to emcee Strong Heart.
2. That medium size tubby guy with crude manners, Jung Hyung Don. He’s with Weekly Idol.
3. And that small chubby guy who tries too hard to be comical, Jo SeHo. He’s in Happy Together.
I’ve nothing against full-bodied comedians, but I don’t find their jokes, or their shtick/gimmick funny. 😒 Do you find some comedians un-funny?
And yes, I really fell off the bed. 😖 Btw, my husband wanted it known that he didn’t push me. I was kicking the sheets then I just rolled off. 😂 Our bed is elevated, too. Lol. I’m beginning to see the convenience of sleeping on the floor like in Korean dramas.
I think from the current dramas, Waikiki is my favourite… I’m laughing a lot with this one (and even tolerate occasional grossness).
1% of Anything (the new condensed version)… for light sexy watch.

there is no fresh kdrama for while.. starting from 2017, kdrama mostly suck.
but i watch queen of mystery, i love this drama because main otp so funny.
i tried to watch LIVE, but still got nothing special..but the writer dramas always good after they release more ep.. most of her drama never addicting in earlier ep. lol in the past i give up watching the winter and the wind blow, dear my friend. after few years watch it again, all i can say, she is the best!
my ahjushi? its quiet good, but not addicting, so far.
great seducer? sometimes it feel similar with other teen drama.. the guy who want to play with female lead heart, end up fall in love with her.
