This is for @agdr03 and other Yang Yang fans. Thanks @agdr03 for sharing his instagram account.
I snorted when I saw his profile picture. It’s a sheep. 🙂 Yang = sheep in Chinese.
I remembered because of this scene in Taecyeon and Guigui’s Global We Got Married show.
Anyway, here are his uploaded instagram news.
Can anybody who reads Chinese translate what he wrote here? According to google translate, it said “meat every year.” I’m guessing since this was taken on the eve of Chinese New Year, he was giving us kind of greeting. Similar to “Have a prosperous new year!” and “May you have your cake and eat it, too.” or “Here’s to good food, good wine and good company.”
Updated to add @chuyu’s translation. Thanks, @chuyu!
The sign he holds up says 年年有佑, means blessed every year (or you are blessed every year). The 年年有肉 ( meat every year) is phonetically similar. Other comments take off from the same format of 年年有x, which is there is xx every year.
I like his sweater here. It looks like a comfy “boyfriend sweater” a girl would love to steal from his closet.
This one is funny. He seems to be wearing a mud pack. This was posted on Feb 8.

This was posted about six days ago, April 27 or thereabouts. His trenchcoat is definitely eye-catching.
He was in the Cappadocia, Turkey. It has a very unique topography.
A lot of Christian churches were built in the caves and underground network of tunnels. St Paul arrived here in the first century and the earliest Cappadocians were Christians. When invaders came, they would retreat underground with their provisions and livestocks, and block off access with boulders. Very ingenious. Nowadays, tourists go to this site and get on a balloon ride to get a bird’s eye view of the surreal landscape. But if you’re Christian, I would highly recommend going on a hike around the area to appreciate why there was a thriving community of hermits and monks. lol. These were the original “man-caves” minus the billiard table, the bar and the entertainment center, of course.
Then, this last instagram was posted four days ago. I like this buzz cut on him. I wonder if he’s still shooting for his army drama.

Yang Yang! What a fine young man, he has such an exquisite look! I remember seeing him in the movie “I belonged to you” and he instantly caught my eye haha.
About the first Instagram post, haha it’s a Chinese New Year blessing we normally say and the original is 年年有余,which means something like to have an abundance year after year! So I guess he just changed it up to have a lil fun 🙂
Thanks, @packmule3 for the post. I’m not too familiar with Instagram, but when I enter #杨洋 on Instagram, a lot more posts will show up.

¡Ay, caramba!
Is this Yang Yang’s name in Chinese? #杨洋
I typed it as you said, and my jaw fell to the floor. I’m simply amazed at the loads of pictures.
But I feel kinda creepy pedophile now, stalking this young kid’s instagram. I believe he’s younger than my sons.
So I’ll leave it to @agdr03 to sort through the pics and see if there are any interesting ones I should post. Thanks for sharing! Sharing is caring. 🙂
At first, I thought he was saying that he wanted to MEET his fans once again in the new year. But then, it didn’t go with the little icon/emoji he placed right beside the greeting. lol. Thanks!
Thanks for this post about my Yang Yang! I see other Instagram posts saying he is their Yang Yang but on your blog he is my Yang Yang. I hope that’s ok? 😬😂
Here’s a cookie 🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪 as my bribe! 😉😂
It’s nice to see him on Instagram, hopefully we get to see him soon on the small screen.
That info on Cappadocia, Turkey is amazing. Thanks ☺️ I like that trench coat on him!
Morning! Sorry I didn’t see the other comments before I posted mine. I think my phone is playing up because the screen cracked 😩 I need Gu WeiYi to fix it 😁
I did put Yang Yang’s Chinese name that you put here in instagram and I was gobsmacked! 😍😍😍 It’s like I’ve been given my own wonderland but it’s just his pictures, I’m in heaven! 😂
Let me look at some and I’ll get you to audit it for posting. You’re not a pedo, you’re just admiring a very fine specimen of a man! 😉🤣
hahaha. The screen is cracked?? Are you channeling Si TuMo by any chance?
I can’t believe the pictures available for Yang Yang. And they’re all so good that I’m already annoyed with myself for spending time scrolling down the posts looking for a goofy picture to post. What a waste of my time!!
The trenchcoat!
Only Yang Yang can carry it off. My menfolk would die before wearing something that decorative. My sons wear decorative accessories like needlepoint belts, pastel caps, printed socks and colorful bow ties. And for summer time, I see them wearing pastel shirts and colorful shorts. But when it comes to jackets, coats and outerwear, they still go with time-tested solid black, blue and brown colors.
Ha! I was just looking at the needlepoint belts from this site for my son #1. I noticed that his favorite belt with the sailboat design is frayed so I was thinking of getting him one as a gift. Everything looks so cute, though, so it’s hard for me to choose just one.

Hmm…sorry agdr03 and PM3, I am not fully convinced of YangYang’s appeal. 😂. He’s not doing anything for me. To each his own. You can have him all to yourself agdr03. No need to share 😂.
Yes, I am channeling Si TuMo 🤣 I thought that was pretty special how he fixed it without asking for payment.
I’m not sure I’ve seen a goofy picture of Yang Yang, it’s hard to make him ugly 🤦🏻♀️😂 He posted and he’s at a beach.
How cute are those belts! I can’t decide too. 😄 My sons are getting to a point of getting picky with what they wear. But I’m just glad they still like to wear pink T-shirts and long sleeve shirts. 😁
No worries @nrllee ! We all have our own preferences. 😉.
@packmule3 , @Phoenix and I are sticking with Yang Yang and no one else. I’ll only share him with them. Right @packmule3 ? 🤣
Hmmm… I wonder where WeiYi is getting his money. I like how he wears unbuttoned shirts on top of white t shirts. My sons used to wear their shirts like that, too, when they were in college. Not anymore though.
I’ve whittled down my choices to either the regatta or the party animal belt.
I’m voting for the regatta! 🙂
How come your still awake?
I’m wondering whether Su TiMo have any money at all. I know she’s got a trainee job now but it didn’t look like she had any savings at all. WeiYi can do tutoring on the sidelines as pocket money. But then his parents own the house that their living in.
He looks so much taller when he wears those shirts with open button underneath those tshirts. 🙂
Right? The regatta looks preppy.
We’ve guests this weekend and we had dinner that finished late. 🙂 I should be heading to bed soon.
I googled the actor. He’s majoring in ballroom dancing??!! 😂 Okay. Let’s be honest here. If one of your sons said they were going to study ballroom dancing in college, what would you do?
I just love the regatta from first look! 🙂
Majoring in ballroom dancing? First reaction from my hubby would be WHY? NO WAY! 🤣 My reaction would be, ARE YOU GOING TO BE REALLY HAPPY IN THAT MAJOR? THINK ABOUT IT SOME MORE THEN COME BACK TO ME. 🤣
He must be very good at it and his acting is very good too but I wouldn’t have guessed that he is majoring in dancing. 🙂 Apparently this is his first drama?
Found this…at the top of the list 😊
Yang Yang is in the midst of shooting a drama where he plays a soldier – Glory of the Special Forces. If I am not mistaken, he was educated in a military school in his teens. That’s where he majored in dance and where he got his posture.
Lin Yi, the actor playing Gu Wei Yi, does ballroom dancing. Have you seen the clip of him doing so? It’s…erm..pretty entertaining. I be never seen ballroom dance like that. It’s in the Soompi thread pg 4,5 or 6….thereabouts I think.
Yes, I saw that Lin Yi (aka Gu Wei Yi) is a ballroom dancer. No. I haven’t seen the clip.
I’ve being a bitch here. I think @agdr03 said something about this, too. If one of my sons said that they were going to college to major in ballroom dancing, his dad and I are cutting his allowance and modify the provisions on the trust funds. lol. We want him to have a foretaste of what it means to have a degree in ballroom dancing: penury.
Of course, we’ll support him in other ways, i.e., feed him, shelter him, etc. But not financially. He’ll have to look for scholarship to pay for his college tuition but we’ll pay his room and board.
