Oh what I read was the King slipped while he was with DongJu and now they’re not sure where he is. Maybe that was the end for the episode last night. Imagine that, him slipping, is that his end fate? I don’t know.

Lots of prep work for the next episode; previews were exciting. Looks like Dongju places herself between Yul-moo (in archer mode) and someone he dearly wants to kill.
It’s good he actually admitted that his crazy 😝 That’s when DongJoo realised that his not worth her arrow.
It was good memories that he thought of when he was told that NokDu was his son but he still thought that he was conspiring against him. 😞🤦🏻♀️
I’m not sure if the update that I saw was correct, that they’d finished it off this week. Anyway looking forward to happy times with the Macaroon Couple. 😍

There is a timeless scene of the king falling, Dongju reaching out to help him, the hands clasping, then as both of them teeter on the edge, … the king lets go…or so it looks to me.
The episode 14 was kinda long to start. The King is so weird… I don’t feel anything for him, pity, anger… nothing, I just don’t care.

I don’t get it. Before he went off to sleep he was drinking with Nokdu and telling Nokdu how the previous king rejected him and how he wished the previous king could have accepted him as a son. Blah blah
Was he THAT stupid not to see history was repeating itself? He was treating his own son cruelly, too?
Too much cryfest in Ep 14. I wonder what Ep 15 would be like.

Ep 15 – yes, cliff of non-doom. People promising each other they will return safely. Silly fighting scenes. The King continues to believe everyone he shouldn’t, and disbelieves those he should. He is completely lost in his paranoia.
Unfortunately, Viki says wait 6 more days for the final episode.

I just finished watching episode 15 and I’m just really heartbroken for NokDu when he faced the King after coming back from falling off the cliff. 😞
The only good thing that happened was finally facing his Mother as her son and DJ saying to him that she can’t live without him. She saved him a few times too in the episode.
I wonder how they’ll finish this off happily.
The Tale of NokDu cast are arriving at their wrap up cast party. 😩
I’ll miss my NokDu and DongJoo couple. I’ll pray that they get to do a drama again.
Hopefully the last episode will be lighter like the beginning and of course I want lots of kisses. ☺️

Happy ending. Yul-moo finally lets Dong-ju go. Widow Kim and her merry band continue to save widows. A wedding. Lovely scenes of our OTP. Time jump. King is dethroned; Yul-moo becomes king. Queen goes into exile … to unite with her son.
Nicely done.
This drama was like Moonlight Drawn by Clouds for me. The 10 first episodes were fun, then the plot becomes more important and boring. At the end, I just watch it for the couple.

I watched Ep 14 because I wanted to see what that whole “cliff of doom” was all about that flying_tool was talking about.
But I pushed off watching 15.
The King’s drama was a drag. I wasn’t invested in his stupid shaman, superstition, monarchy and political problems.

And yes, the whole King side plot was a drag. When I started this drama, I thought a Robin Hood-sequence stories would be a fine course to take – all the pieces were there…

I love that Nokdu tries to give DongJoo everything especially a beautiful wedding because of what they let go. But DongJoo is getting upset because he still spends money on her. hehehe
I love this ending because it’s very sweet and you really can tell that they lived happily ever after. 🙂 Out of all the kisses on this episode alone, I loved the morning after kiss (it was so natural) and the beach kiss where NokDu carried her even if it was only 4 kisses. Whose counting? 🤣
The news for the King was that Yulmo was born on November 19 too. 🙁 I am just glad that he asked for the Queen to be sent away without anyone knowing and that she will live with her one and only son. 🙂

Oh so JDY had a recent interview and apparently he talked about his sister/brother chemistry with KSH and he said he was comfortable acting with her.
When asked about the kiss, he said they were just doing it for business.
Enough said. 😂 I knew it. 😂 I’m just glad their acting really got me on board because they made me happy. 😄
Haha. JDY wants it out there that fans shouldn’t think of them as the next Song Song couple. 😂 Agreed!
But he really shouldn’t describe the chemistry as brother/sister especially when they were kissing. 🤣That’s incestuous.
“Doing it for business” makes them sound mercenary but that’s about right. They were doing it because the director told them to. All their actions were rehearsed. And how can feelings developed naturally when every move he/she made was in the spotlight to be scrutinized, directed and approved? That’s a romance killer for me. 😜

Ahhh! Yulmo’s birthday was on Nov 19, too? Stupid superstition… Even to the end, the writer wants us to believe that this trouble all could have been prevented had the King gone after the correct birthday boy. 😂🤦♀️ Nope! Regardless of the birthdates, he should have lived the life of a wise king, instead of a power-hungry king, so his minister and people wouldn’t have schemed to lead a coup against him. It’s his work performance, not the superstition/curse/prophesy that did him in.
That would explain why DongJoo and Nokdu were served seaweed soup on Nokdu’s birthday. It was actually for Yulmo. Lol.
But 26:00, okay.

Yes to the writer making the King more silly with the birthdate. He said he will bear his sin alone that’s why he asked for the Queen to be sent away. I don’t feel sorry for him.
About the sister/brother, I was caught off guard too. It did made it incestuous. 😄 He should have just said that he’s grateful that they had chemistry and thanks to the director for making it happen, something like that. 😄You’re right about the mercenary way of putting it out there that there’s nothing for real about them. And it saw her in hanbok but not in a bath scene (wasn’t it in Sungkyunkwan Scandal?) and yeah there was a political plot but I dont’t really remember. Ra-On was the daughter whose parents died and were in rebel groups or something like that. But it made the Crown Prince and her to be in 2 different teams. But of course they didn’t know until the middle of the drama.
So far, the parties have been entertaining. One had a live band at the end of the award ceremony. I like that; hubby and I got to dance a bit. lol. One boring party turned out interesting because they raffled off $1000 prizes at intervals. lol. People stayed till the end in case they won. pwahahaha. Last night’s party had lots of schmoozing; I was too keyed up to go to bed. That’s why I was talking to you until 3:30am. 🙂 I was also composing my Christmas shopping list so I was productive despite my heavy eye bags. lol.
Anyway, I’ll watch Tale of Nokdu this morning. I’m on Thanksgiving mode now.
