Bitch Talk: Asking for a Friend…

Often, when somebody says that she’s “asking for a friend,” she’s embarrassed or afraid to pose you the question directly so she pretends to be asking on behalf of a fictional friend.

So I’m asking for a friend here…

Can you recommend a good Filipino romcom film and/or a good Bollywood romcom film that’s currently on Netflix?

What movie qualifies as “good” to my friend?

1. Happy Ending
2. No physical abuse
3. No toilet humor. I don’t like…errr…my friend doesn’t like toilet jokes.
4. No annoying, whiny, demanding, and over-the-top heroines pretending to be “spunky”
5. Preferably, no noona romances

My friend needs to expand her Asian viewing experience.

Thanks!

@nrllee has been “homesteading.” She updates us on her baby chicks:

@packmule3 I have been homesteading 😂. The chicks have hatched and I am building structures to house them. I still have to build the coop and run. Have been researching and planning everything chicken related hence my hiatus. Chick watching has replaced KDrama for now. 8 out of 10 eggs hatched. I don’t vent sex so I don’t know the ratio of boys and girls. I am hoping to have at least 4 girls because I can’t keep roosters where I live. Council ordinances limit me to 5 hens. I usually wait till they are about 5-6 weeks old when their combs and wattles develop to try to differentiate the boys/girls.

There’s one chick I named Ugly. Guess which one it is? It’s the runt. Hatched all sticky and never fully fluffed up. It is the loudest chick of the lot.

@nrllee, is that pic of Ugly? It does look unphotogenic. But I’m hoping it’s a female chick because I’m feeling sorry for it. I get why your town wouldn’t approve of roosters. lol. I’d hate to wake up to the sound of cocks crowing, too.

BTW, do you know that even your chick stain looks like a chick? lol.

  1. Bollywood:
Kabhi Kushi Kabhi Gham – family-centric
Kuch Kuch Hota Hai – all time favorite
    3 Idiots – fun(?)

I don’t know if Netflix US has this:

    Mohabattein

    😊
    @nrllee, they are cuteeeee🥰🥰🥰

  2. Thanks, miracle23! 🍪🍪🍪

  3. -hi Packmule3! some good Bollywood movie that I can recommend, like story wise good not just dancing around trees, although they tend to do that too hahah.
    – Hum Tum. I like it, notwithstanding the fluff and some silly jokes, it’S a good movie, kinda based on when harry met sally.
-Kal ho na ho, a real tearjerker but quite funny.
-Ishq, a very old movie, but very funny.
    – Hera Pheri, again very funny, it’s about three guys who live together and then something happens.
-Dilwale Dulhania le jayenge. This one is a classic movie with shahrukh khan, a very popular indian actor. I like the story overall, cause it’s very well made.
    -Fanaa
    -Ajab prem ki gajab kahani
-tare zameen par (about a kid with dyslexia, but a very good movie)
-Jab We met ( this one is my personal favorite, a romantic comedy, but the storyline is quite unique, especially the female lead)

    I’ll add more, if I remember. 🙂

Btw, are you watching kairos? It is a really good drama, may be you could check it out, if time travelling is your thing. I think they did it at least way better than Alice. :/ The story is quite intense.

  4. Thanks bearers! 🍪🍪🍪

  5. I want to add one more hindi movie, ‘hum dil de chuke sanam’. To see the rich colorful rajasthani flavor, this one could be a good option. I don’t like how the story ends, but the story is loosely based on a fiction that I love so much, La Nuit Bengali. Interestingly this book is kinda based on a true story, and both of the protagonists wrote a book with their point of view.
Although the movie is nothing like that, haha. But it is a well made movie.
*I am not aware of regional movies in India, otherwise I am sure there are a lot of good Malayalam movies. Also as I am a Bengali, I am a big fan of all Satyajit Ray movies, like pather panchali. 🙂

  6. @nrllee, There’s a no rooster rule in New York City too. Two if my friends raise chickens. And from what they tell me the chickens have distinct personalities. I used to be sad when friends got chicks for Easter because they couldn’t keep them. It’s nice to know you’re saving those sweeties. They must be eggstatic(sorry I couldn’t help myself).

  7. That chick stain! 😆

I totally get the no roo-rule. We used to keep a hen and roo in our small yard and the roo drove everyone bonkers with his crowing at the weirdest times. They are soooo loud.

  8. @OldAmericanLady @JT7 😄. I love watching them sleep. It’s like watching human babies sleep 😂. They fall asleep at the strangest times…they’d be eating and then fall asleep in the food bowl. I remember one of my kids did that too. It was hilarious. One minute he was munching on some broccoli and the next minute he was passed out in the high chair. 😂

@packmule3 😂 the “chick” stain. And yes that’s Ugly. The runt. It has a vaulted skull and a Mohawk which adds to its ridiculousness. And the loudest chick. Always peeping its head off at everything. “What…What is it? What are you eating? Don’t leave me by myself! What is that? Tell me! Tell me!” 🙄.

  9. Hi! A few Filipino movies that I liked on Netflix are Time & Again, Stranded and First Love. The last has drama mixed in and ends on a positive note;love the way the story was developed and the characters fleshed out. Hope your friend finds them worth her time 😉

@nrllee your babies are so cute! The few chicks I had when I was young never lasted long, sadly. No roo-rules where I live so you can imagine the the noise levels at the weirdest times.

  10. @packmule3: Happy to share my recommendations for Bollywood movies – I have spent so many happy hours watching the kdramas and Cdramas that you recommended, and happy that I can return the favor in some small way.

I am going to stick to my top 3 recommendations, mentioning the storyline and why I like them. I’m also picking only the Bollywood movies available on Netflix for ease of accessing them:

    1) ‘Jab We Met’ or When We Met (recommended by Nearse too) – It’s about a girl who runs away from home and encounters a young man on the train who helps her, and a large part of the movie is like a fun road trip. Light, funny and perfect moodlifter.

    2) ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Diwaani’ or The Madness of Youth (this one is my personal favorite) – The introvert and studious FL falls for an extrovert ML while on a college trekking trip to the mountains. Four close friendships are formed during this trip. Her love for the ML remains unrequited, as he is used to female attention and is focused on making a career out of travelling the world. Years later, at a common friend’s wedding (one from the group of four friends), the ML and the FL meet again. What I like is how the FL gets on with her life and does not try to curb the ML’s wanderlust. Also like how the non-romantic friendships have been portrayed in this movie (and the **banned word – br**ance** 🙊🙊).

    3) ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ or Something happens (in my heart) – Another favorite of mine – This one is a 90s evergreen romance with a unique storyline featuring one of Bollywood’s topmost actors, Shah Rukh Khan. A girl finds letters from her deceased mother telling her of her last wish – to unite the girl’s father with his first (and maybe only) love from their college days. The girl, with the help of her grandmother, tries to trace the lady her father loved all those years ago, only to find that she is engaged to be married soon. She hatches a plot to bring them face to face again through a kids’ summer camp. This movie is heartwarming, cute, and very romantic.

There, hope that will help your friend choose which ones to watch😊😊

  11. @nrlee Those chickens are adorable 😍😍😍 Look so soft and fluffy! Falling asleep on the feeding bowl..so cute!

  12. Hi PM3 –

Here are some Bollywood romcom recommendations for “your friend”. They’re not very recent, but all good: Queen (this was real and fun in so many ways), Dil Chahta Hai (be warned, though, that of the three romances in the story, one is a noona romance), Jab We Met (a road movie – you see different parts of India in this). All of these have awesome music, which is so essential to Bollywood.

Much more than a romcom, but a riot overall – also an old film – Lagaan (if you want to know more about the craziness that is cricket in India/south Asia). I don’t know if you like sports films, though. Also outstanding musical score.

I know this is not what you asked for: But I wanted to put this in anyway. As a non-romcom, non-mainstream, Hindi film, I suggest – The Blue Umbrella. This is set in a small mountain village in north India, about a bunch of kids and a shopkeeper. A lovely film in all respects.

These movies are all in Hindi.

I saw someone mention Malayalam, in which some top-quality cinema is made, not too many romcoms. But for an excellent romcom, ensemble film in that language, which I cannot find on Netflix right now, but maybe in your region, I recommend – Bangalore Days. Ustad Hotel is another nice Malayalam movie, rom-com-ish, that I enjoyed. (Maybe Prime has these)

  13. oh and @nrllee – your chick adventures! So kawai, though I’m not sure I’d want them for myself…!

  14. I’m in the mood for rom-coms too and am watching Holidate and Operation Christmas Drop to get into the holiday mood well in advance😛

  15. Thanks, RoseJade.

What about “The Ex, and the Whys”? It popped up on Netflix, too.

  16. Dear All, I’m curious about the many dramas mentioned above, too. Thanks.

We had a hen Starsky who stopped laying and started crowing. Not as loud or often as a cockerel, but still…

  17. “Jab We Met!” I fell for the guy’s handsome face in the first 2 secs of the movie. (I’m shalllllllloooow!)

Didn’t I tell you that I’m not attracted to the pale skin of Korean actors, like Lee JongSuk of “Pinocchio” and “W”? I think he should go to the beach and get a tan.

    Thanks for the recs.

  18. 🙂 Fern, the hen was simply self-identifying as a rooster.

One of these days, I’m going to self-identify as Asian, too. hahaha.

  19. Are they any good? I don’t want to get started on American dramas again….

After getting used to Kdramas, kdramas feel more like home to me. I must admit thought that I was swept away on a wave of nostalgia when I watched the series “Sweet Magnolias.” I was craving for iced tea, country-fried steak and peach cobbler. lol.

  20. Thanks, pickleddragon! I happened to skim through “Indian Matchmaking,” and I was laughing! I didn’t know it was that matchmaking was so intense. The matchmakers were so scary and hilarious at the same time! One of them said, “No. no. no. They can’t meet like that. That’s going to be a FLOP meeting.” No translation required because they were speaking in English. I wish I’d known that term “flop meeting” when I was growing up. I could have my warned my brothers that their girlfriends were “flop” girlfriends and they were “flop” dating. 🙂

  21. Haha @packmule3 I reside on Shallow Island, remember?😛 ALL my recommendations have good looking heroes, not just ‘Jab We Met’. If you do watch some of them by chance, hope you enjoy them😁😁 I’m not into sappy melodramatic or family dramas; so the ones I recommended are all light and cute (except some tears in the last one).
Both the American movies I’m watching are short; so not taxing. Don’t have patience for the n number of seasons American dramas usually have! Operation Christmas Drop is kimd of okay so far, not interesting though. Think it is putting me to sleep😛 Will go back to watching ToNT.

  22. Ah, @packmule, I feel that as long as no one takes it seriously, you can self-identify as you wish. 😉 We’ve had a lot of dinner table discussions about racial and gender self-identity. Hot topic. 🔥

Starsky died later that year, so his/her crowing may have resulted from medical issues. I blamed husband for the naming. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Daughter’s friend currently has an ex-battery hen named Paul. That chook seems normal.

  23. Ah. I was going to ask you, where’s Hutch?

Have you seen the new version? I haven’t yet. but I died laughing at this actor’s rendition of David Soul’s “Don’t Give Up on Us, Baby.”

    https://youtu.be/xLLsjlKWohU

  24. Hi @packmule3! I am not a fan of the love team helming My Ex and Whys (they’re very popular here though and have another movie in Netflix, Alone/Together) so I haven’t watched it. Some more recommendations: Write About Love and Through Night and Day. Really love these two.

  25. Thanks for the clip@packmule3. Oh, Owen Wilson is funny. For some reason was in a sofa advert here last.

Husband likes awful puns. He found a slow worm and called it Mo.

  26. Sorry I seem to be writing in code.
‘For some reason he was in a sofa advert here last year.’

There are American actors in a number of adverts here that I’m sure never see the light of day in the USA. Pays the bills, I suppose.

I’ll try Jab We Met this evening.

  27. Enjoy watching it, @Fern😃😀

I’m about to watch the Netflix adaptation of Daphne Du Maurier’s Rebecca. I vaguely remember watching the Laurence Olivier B&W version. The current adaptation looks somewhat creepy. Let’s see how it goes🤞🤞

  28. Ooo @Phoenix. Let me know what you think of Netflix Rebecca. That popped up on my list of suggestions for Netflix and I thought about watching it. But I vaguely remember that the book was sort of creepy too? It’s been a while but I remember reading it in my youth and wondering what I just read (I was anticipating an easy buoyant read, not gothic fare).

  29. Hi Pakmule3 – Having watched KDramas, I feel Indian movies are either one extreme or the other. So, I stopped watching it a long time ago. Many of them are good suggestions from many other viewers. I liked Dil chatha hai, and kuch kuch hota hai.

I watched Indian Matchmaking and I was stumped. These people are crazy. It is not as bad or glamarous as they have shown in the drama. I think because of the drama, they might have exagerated a lot. I myself being Indian and having gone through an arranged marriage, hated it so much. Seema Auntie telling her clients that they have to change their attitude to get married seemed so wrong on all levels and the marriage is bound to fail.

@nrllee – happy chickraising. Hope you have a good time. No pets in my house. The runt will grow up and you will love him very soon.

  30. Today is a good day. Imma gonna whack on my bonnet and apron and do more homesteading stuff. Pa would approve. Until my “Almanzo” beckons me from his buggy for a ride into town to get rations. 😂. (I am channeling my inner Laura Ingalls.)

  31. Haha @nrlee That sounds exactly like something Laura Ingells would say🤣🤣 Did you know they even have Almanzo’s house restored?
I’m liking Rebecca so far, I’m going to be on a flight today, so planning to complete watching it then. Yes, the book is decidedly gothic and I remember being shocked by the ending the first time I read it. Now of course most people who know about Rebecca know what actually happened.
Reminds me kind of like Harrison Ford and Michelle Pfeiffer’s ‘What Lies Beneath’ which was creepy as hell, especially the last scene😱😱😱

  32. For Filipino romantic comedy films on Netflix, I’ll recommend “Can’t Help Falling In Love”.

  33. I have watched Rebecca last week. The ending to me is a bit anti-climatic(?) 😅 I got irrirated with the male lead. Kinda reminded me of the common trope in historical romance books. It’s a good watch overall.😊

  34. Eommaaaaaa 😄😍 as a Filipino representative, I’m here to recommend some Filipino movies found on Netflix; may or may not have taken into consideration the above criteria:

    1. Four Sisters and a Wedding: this is widely loved. It’s basically a long commercial about a biscuit brand but the story is great. It’s a family movie. Love love love!

    2. Seven Sundays: another family movie 😀 Hahaha This is also one of the best.

    3. The Gifted: about 2 geniuses. The plot twist is great in the end.

    4. Third is My First: I haven’t watched this. But Netflix has a handful of Filipino movies about elderly people somehow hehe.

    5. For The Broken Hearted: Of course this is going to have some heartbreaks but I love that this movie still gives hope hehe.

    6. #Jowable: I could interpret the title as “desirable as a lover”. About a woman desperate to have a boyfriend.

    7. Die Beautiful and its sequel Born Beautiful: This is about about transgenders and their journey. In the Die one, our heroine is already dead, the story would be about when she’s alive. The Born one is about the Die one’s bestfriend and how she’s coping with the death.

    8. Kita Kita (Trans: I See You {Kitá – See} {Kita – I to You): a love story between a blind woman and a funny guy. This has a bittersweet ending tho.

    9. That Thing called Tadhana: tadhana means fate but can also interchangeably mean destiny. Soul searching movie.

    10. Lola Igna: story about a grandma who’s potentially gonna be the oldest person in the world.

Bonus: History films if you ever have the appetite; Heneral Luna, and Goyo: The Boy General. We only have so few historical movies of this calibre, so yeah 😀

Here are 10 movies so far. Note that I didn’t recommend most romance movies available on Netflix as we have this thing called “Love Teams”. You would see the same 2 people in like 2-4 movies. I was a fan of Kathniel (Kathryn and Daniel) before but after my exposure to K-,J-, and C-dramas where actors can be paired to different people in different dramas, I became tired of these loveteams and avoid their dramas and movies as much as possible. But you will be guaranteed a happy ending because these loveteams have to be together in the end. Well, have fun with the array of Asian movies on Netflix. You’ll definitely have a better understanding of our culture through these movies 😀

  35. Thanks, @leedale9198! This is a great list.

I just finished watching the Indian film, “Jab We Met.” It made me want to book a flight to India, and take up banghra dancing.

It’s a bonus that I empathized with the hero from the beginning (except when he broke out in a song-and-dance). He was a decent guy. I like the family-oriented message of the film. So, it was a good film. Nice and sweet.

  36. Thanks, @ Table12200. I’ll check it out. Sounds like an Elvis Presley song. 🙂

  37. Bwaahahhahahaha I missed the memo 😅 You’re looking for ROMCOM movies but I gave you different courses instead. Well, I find Filipino romcoms to be mediocre or just there. Well I guess I could suggest some (though I haven’t watched them haha):

    1. Love the Way You Lie
    2. Diary ng Panget (The Diary of the Ugly) – watched this, it’s a wattpad story, teenage me loved this one hehe
    3. Bride for Rent
    4. Vince & Kath & James
    5. The Girl Allergic to Wifi – I don’t think this is romcom haha but it’s fun romance.

Hahahaha you have so much on your plate already. Let me know what you think of these movies. Looking forward to the review posts.

  38. You can have Almanzo.
    I’ll have Pa.

Or maybe I should get the shopkeeper? I always pitied the poor man.

  39. Pa? Yes, lovely eyes.
I think he did an excellent job with the show but can’t help thinking of him as Little Joe. Yeah, I’m that old.

  40. @packmule3 Glad you liked Jab We Met😃😃 I like the hero because unlike most Bollywood MLs, he is not an extrovert or heartthrob of all girls (though he has his own business, he is disillusioned at the beginning). About Bhangra, believe it or not, only one community out of n regions in India, dances Bhangra, unlike what Bollywood would have everyone believe😄 However, my Zumba instructor that day taught a dance step that looked a lot like Bhangra..so I guess the basics of dance are the same in most dance forms.

  41. @miracle23 Thanks for the recommendation on Rebecca. I’m liking it so far. I like historical romance heroes..they remind me of Mr. Darcy and Colin Firth😍😍😍

  42. Packmule3 and Fern will be addicted to bollywood movies in no time🤭🤭🤭 They have best music and dance routine to accompany those music. Some melo are also good like Dhadkan and Mohabattein. But not on Netflix🤧

  43. Looking forward to it, @miracle23. I fell down a YouTube rabbit hole is a C-drama last night and stayed up a few hours later than normal. Today I watched the Jab trailer and it looks good.

  44. Haha @Fern, falling down a rabbit hole somehow always reminds me of TK;EM and Luna😃 Whether you like them or not, Bollywood movies are an unique experience because of their song-and-dance sequences! Have fun.

  45. Angelwingssf,

You mean “Indian Matchmaking” was real?? I thought it was a fake reality tv like “The Bachelor”?

I was interested because one of my sons dated an Indian-American. Very very bright girl. She taught my son to dance the Banghra (spelling?) although she was actually trained in a certain classical Indian dance. I wanted to see if there was any comment from the matchmakers about mixed-marriages. 😂

  46. Hi Packmule and hello everyone esp to my lovely Filos 🙂

Some of my favorite Filipino romcom films avail in Netflix are:

    A Love Story
    That Thing Called Tadhana
    Exes Baggage
    Kita Kita
    Starting Over Again
    Hintayan ng Langit
    Bride For Rent

    Happy watching 🤗

  47. Thanks, Rori0711.

I just finished “Can’t Help Falling in Love.” 😂 Did the guy tell the girl, “you’re violating me” at the end? I take it that he was joking and that she was “molesting” him or touching his private parts but he was enjoying it. 😂😂 The sexual innuendoes here are so funny.

  48. Rori0711,

That “Kita Kita” was so moving! It felt stalkerish at some places, especially when he gave his list of 10 things, but it was moving nonetheless.

I was wondering why such an ugly man was cast to play the lead role but by the end of the movie, I knew nobody could have portrayed the role better.

But darn that truck of doom! That was so “korean.” 😭

Thanks for the rec. But now I’ve to look for a happy kdrama!!!

  49. Fillipino movies and drama were my “entry level drug” to K Dramas and movies. It’s yourvfaukt. LOL.

  50. Gosh, I’ve been away from BOD for what feels like forever, and it is wonderful to be reading comments again from old friends. I got bogged down in The School Nurse Files, Extra-Ordinary You, and Maiden Holmes and lost momentum. I did watch Do You Like Brahms? and Record of Youth as they were released, but found I didn’t have much to say about them. I’ve finally caught up on Tale of the Nine Tailed and DoDoSolSolLaLaSol, and am almost done with Zombie Detective.

Life has kept me busy for good reasons and bad. The good is that in the beginning of October my husband and I bought a cabin in our local mountains and I’ve been going up there every weekend–sometimes solo–to work on it. Two weekends ago we had an early winter storm and lots of snow. I dug out the car, put on chains, and got down off the mountain safely, but it was quite an effort. I returned this weekend to find much of the snow still on the ground around our cabin; I learned how to use the electric-powered snowblower that had been left for us by the cabin’s previous owners.

The could-have-been-bad news is that our neighborhood and house (not the cabin) were threatened by a wildfire earlier in November and we were given mandatory orders to evacuate. (https://losangeles.cbslocal.com/2020/10/29/blue-ridge-fire-yorba-linda-evacuation-orders/) We were fortunate to be able to head up to our cabin at short notice, as it was 9:30pm when law enforcement drove down our street broadcasting that we had to leave. The fire came within a couple blocks of our house, but fortunately no structures in our immediate neighborhood were damaged or lost: hooray for, and thanks to, the firefighters. That’s not how it was twelve years ago today, when 118 houses were burned in our town during a wildfire. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freeway_Complex_Fire) That fire destroyed houses to the east, north, and west of ours, the closest being a block away. Luck and the wind were with us back then, as at that time our house had a wood shake roof, and all it would have taken to set it afire is a live ember landing on it.

I look forward to watching some of the Indian films that have been recommended here. I might even be successful getting my husband to join me. Although he is ethnically Chinese, he was born and raised in Calcutta, India, and is more open to watching Bollywood movies than Korean, Japanese, or Chinese dramas.

  51. Welcome back, Welmaris.

Glad you and your home are safe. Do you have you old family photos backed up in cloud?

If you find good Bollywood movies, just post them here. “Jab We Met” was entertaining.

  52. A snippet of:

    1. Mohabbatein

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eM8Mjuq4MwQ

We have Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim in Kdrama but here is the romantic music teacher 🙂

    2. Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IBvg3WeqP1U

    3. Mujhse Dosti Karoge

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q4R2xRnN89A

The infamous medley of OSTs from old bollywood movies used in this movie 🙂

    Enjoys!

  53. Found it, packmule3! kekekeke

For ladies based in the US, Mujhse Dosti Karoge is available here:

    https://www.amazon.com/Mujhse-Dosti-Karoge-Rani-Mukerji/dp/B073SFLHFT?ref_=nav_signin&

    Enjoy!

  54. Thanks, miracle23!

I can’t finish watching Start-up Ep 9 because of all these good movie recs.

  55. @Welmaris, So happy that you and yours are safe! Hope you enjoy some well-deserved entertainment and relaxation. And happy Bollywood to you.🌼🌼🌼

  56. @miracle23, thank you for the links! Beautiful dancing and gorgeous actors. Mohabbatein had a very brief ‘Elvis’ moment when the small group of young men showed up mid-dance. 😍

@Welmaris, let us know what you and your husband think. Is he still fluent in Bengali?

  57. Two other movies you may like are Bunty Aur Babli, Salaam Namaste – could add to the list.

I have not even seen Mujse Dosti Karogi. It was good to see the songs.

@packmule – The Indian matchmaking was for real. It is for the richie rich. I don’t fall into that category so, I will bow out. Even the alliances that Seema Auntie brought were so outliers and telling her clients that they have to change were too much for me.

I saw that one of them got engaged in the end, but grapevine news, I heard that they broke up after the last episode.

    Enjoy all the Indian movies.

  58. I love Kita Kita ☺️ It was very moving.

I couldn’t recommend any Filipino dramas here because the ones that I’ve seen aren’t really romcoms (Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay, Maging Sino Ka Man, It Might Be You) and they’re from ages ago. 😁

I hope your friend are happy with the great recommendations. It makes me want to watch Bollywood. ☺️

  59. If anyone is watching Kabhi Kushi Kabhi Gham – It has a happy ending, but the latter part of the movie is pretty sad. It becomes happy in the end.

My recommendation is Kuch Kuch Hota Hai — funny till the end.

Dil to paagal Hai is also pretty fun to watch.

  60. Update on Ugly

    https://i.ibb.co/2Y9BppP/576-E510-D-BF9-F-44-A2-8-F30-7-CADE4788861.jpg

Still “special” 😂 (in @agdr03’s words).

  61. Your chick filled out nicely, nrllee. But it is still “beauty challenged.” Does its face really don’t have feathers?

  62. Hi @packmule3! I’m kinda late in commenting since I’m new reader, but like @rori0711, I also recommend Starting Over Again. It’s a romcom from 2014, but my friends and I watched it just recently and still enjoyed it. Now that I’m a bit older, I realized I appreciate it more now than when I was in my early 20s. Haha so many nuances and layers that I missed before.
