This is an iconic painting of a day at sea. “Breezing Up” (“A Fair Wind”) by Winslow Homer. National Gallery of Arts, Washington DC.
I love that composition, @Snow Flower. I could see the sun sparkling on the ripples, before and after the gust of wind. I love that painting as well, @packmule3. Many thanks.
Another masterpiece yet again! It really describes Dosan annd Dalmi’s journey with each other. Thanks @Snow Flower 💖
Without seeing the title at first, I thought of the phrase Sailing without a map. Loving the running notes that reminds me of the waves as the yacht sails in the open sea, then crossing to a larger wave, and eventually greeted by an amazing sight ahead of them: a beautiful island or sunset. Just like the journey of Dosan and Dalmi. ⛵🌊🌅👩❤️💋👨
@snowflower, your composition is beautiful. There’s no scene (literal) with Dalmi and Dosan sailing ( now I’m wishing there was in the ending montage!) but what I keep seeing while I listen is the hut scene confrontation, then with Dalmi asleep and then the piggyback in the end. They had a map to get to the hut but their agreement to work together despite all the hurt is part of “sailing without a map” adventure again.
Looks like I missed this! @snowflower, your composition is beautiful.
