Here’s the poster. Coincidentally, it was released last Thursday, just before our first HP rewatch. The HP producers and I had the same idea. To hype up Season 2, a look back into the past season was in order. But I began two weeks early with my “Throwback Thursday” series. 🙂

Since it’s springtime in Hospital Playlist Season 2, the flowers are blooming in the poster, too.
There’s the muguet or lily of the valley. It’s the flower for the month of May.

As for the yellow flower, I don’t know what it is. But if I were to make a wish, I’d want it to be canola flower. Jejudo comes alive in springtime with these yellow blooms, and I remember Rosa wanting to make a trip to Jejudo with her son and Songhwa.

I gave attention to each poster they released before. We know that the poster photo session was taken casually, without any script, one of the bts showed that they only told to be seems like having a conversation.
But I think the production team chose which version of the photo would be use for their posters, right?
And most of them ‘incidentally’ showed JWon looking at SHwa. Coincidence? I don’t think so 🤭
Then now they put it in a collage, making a cropping here and there, emm purposively?

It’s a new season of Spring and Summer. Winter? Well they probably feature it a bit before moving on to better, more brighter, colourful and fun seasons. Winter is just too cold, dark and weary to ones soul. 😜 Even garden looks so unliving in a longgggg longgggg winter 🤭

The canola field… Yoo Yoon Seok was in a kdrama “Warm and Cozy” and the setting was in Jejudo with the canola flowers in full bloom. He took this role after Reply 1984. He played a chaebol “maknae” who believed himself to be crazily in love with a gold digger that he gave up life in Seoul and set up a restaurant in Jejudo to please her. (Sounds familiar?) Fortunately, he came to his senses and fell for hard-working Kang Sora instead. 🙂
@pm3, Runningman has a regular mole game. The mole will be prepped before the show on what their mission is and to just blend in, complete the mission without others noticing the abnomally. They can act clueless as others in order not to be suspected 🤭

The output of such desperate efforts always are awkwardly ugly. 🤷♀️

Oh, yes! JW was wearing flowers on his crocs. If you don’t own Crocs, Jibbitz are those little decorations you can poke into the holes of the Crocs to personalize your shoes. IJ and JW had Jibbitz on their shoes, the rest didn’t.
I don’t think Songhwa was wearing Crocs. Probably didn’t want to spend money on them.

First of all, I wouldn’t have had the patience to go and find all these pictures, many of which were cut in half. The producers are cheeky to put their clues in halves of photo that are not even on the poster. 😬
For example, the photo that is below the middle photo.
If this photo exists, it must be possible to find it.
We see a white object at the bottom. Then something gray-blue above. And at the top, orange. I don’t know what it is, but with the real photo at hand, it should be possible to match.
Who knows what’s in that photo, hidden under the main photo??? 🤔
I leave it to the fans of the drama to figure it out.
I’m at the beginning of episode 8, and although I’m not a fan of the drama, I now manage to have more fun watching it. 🙂
At this point, I haven’t seen any hint of a relationship between Song Hwa and Jung Won. If that’s hidden in episodes 1-5, I’m pretty sure I would have missed it. Since halfway through episode 5, the story is better and I can focus more easily, so I’m noticing more things.
If anyone has any clues about this relationship from the first few episodes, I’d like to hear about it. 🤓
The situation in the other hypothesis (Winter) is easier to decipher.
Right now, it’s not that Jung Won is just unattracted to Gyeo Wool.
Worst, it’s that he finds her off-putting and unprofessional. 😫
There has been too much accumulation of unacceptable behavior on her part.

– The maggot scene (maybe). 🤮
– The cookie binging. Finished with “ROMP!”. 🐷
– And maybe some other things I missed. I don’t remember Jung Won’s reaction to the chase scene.
– Only good thing, she managed to bring the liver in time (but there is a serious doubt that she ran, and took the risk of damaging the liver).
Beginning of episode 8, He blows her off without even time to come up with a credible excuse. It could be because he’s a bit distracted and just wants to escape her. But before he answers, I noticed that there is a long silence and he has time to think. So, his answer could have been calculated, to communicate how much he doesn’t want her and doesn’t care about her. By openly mocking her. This character is the type to do that, as we saw in the cookie scene. He’s a guy who doesn’t always say things directly. A trickster. 🤐
If the writer wants to match these two, I don’t know by what miracle. Of course, in a drama everything is always possible. It’s even a national sport for the writers to match people who seem impossible to be matched. But here, how could it be possible? Especially since the scriptwriter keeps showing her as repulsive.
However, Jung Won is used to diseases and repulsive things. When he arrives in the garden, he yells to everyone that his patient’s poop is beautiful. This ruins the appetite of his colleagues who are eating a sandwich. 💩

1. PG x Shwa backstory – How they met? 30 Jan 1999, the meaning of the date, if ever, it has any relevance. Did they even confess to each other? Did he actually confess while being drunk about how hard it is for him, torn between his priesthood dream and his feeling for Shwa? She accidentally heard it and took the decision by getting a bf? Curious mind wanna know.
Where was PG during the med school interview. Where was Shwa when PG x Shyeong went to the shed that night. Does Shwa x PG have any childhood/ teenage-hood (lol)/ college-hood (lmao) flashback together? Who were their first loves in 1999?
2. Opt. 1: Ikjun trying to woo Shwa but Jwan is gatekeeping her. keke Opt. 2: Backstory of how Ikjun tricked Jwan to become third wheeler whenever Ikjun wanna spend time together with his crush i.e. Shwa. In EPISODE 11 (emphasised lol) Jwan said to Iksun:
Jwan: His Professor is my friend, Chae Song Hwa. I also matured because I had her as my friend. (side note: He matured because of Shwa! Wow, what happened before? Did he actually confess to Shwa and rejected? :D)
Iksun: Ikjun should have tried to date her. He’s such a fool. Are you sure there’s nothing between them?
Jwan: Nothing. There’s nothing between them.
lol Should I trust Jwan? Of course! Clearly, he is not team Iksong as of Ep. 11. He knows Shwa and he knows Ik Jun. Prof. Gatekeeper said, “You shall not pass!!!!!” kekekekekeke Meanwhile, Ik Jun is still clueless about everyone, and himself lol. The price he pays for being an Inssa (인싸 – popular kids or the life of the party), he became oblivious to those close to him.
3. Jwan x PG x Shwa – The three musketeers. Opt. 1: How Jwan will be the one to bridge FG together (re. Ep. 2 staring game lol). Opt. 2: Backstory of how Jwan x PG grew closer and Shwa dragging Jwan as third wheeler whenever she wanna spend time with PG. Girl gotta do what girl gotta do to achieve her objective 😀 Jwan the 3rd wheeler & FG gatekeeper. Hail Thanos of Yulje! hahahahaa
4. Backstory of PG x Shyeong as bff. We have seen Ikjun x Jwan med school iv, Shwa as well. Now is their turn to show up. Did Shyeong plan something with PG on the band establishment in 1999? TBC
5. Jwan’s unresolved issue with Iksun.
6. Ikjun x Shyeong becomes confidante and new bff, having common interests i.e. divorcé, issues with ex-wifeys, complicated feelings for their respective residents. In short, heartwarming bonding time for inssa and assa (outcast) 😀

@WE, PG x Shwa re. EP. 1 and Ep. 2 the Kalguksu meal. Ep. 2 Kalguksu mealtime was one of PD nim’s 3 chosen scenes. Others are Canon scene and Mafia game scene.😎 Kalguksu shows the dynamic of the 5 friends. Ep. 1 and Ep. 2 are full of the parallels between PG x Shwa. Their story was introduced very early on. Afterward, they took a backseat to give way to others. Their time returned in Ep. 10 onwards. For each of them to have a dedicated episode at the very beginning should means something, no? 🤭🤭🤭
@WE, not sure if you noticed, to whom he focused on when telling the happy news of his little patient pooping🤭🤭🤭 Their moments are subtle @WE. Not out in the open. That is why we dubbed them our psychic FG. Shwa is called a ghost. Ghosts are not showy unless necessary 😂 PG is called Buddha, doing his thing quietly, no drama, not seeking nor attracting unnecessary attention to himself i.e Daddy Long Leg Program. And the calls. In one of the OST sang by Shwa the actress, I Know I Love, there is a line:
“Again today, I am calling you like a habit. You answered so warmly”
“You struggle with love that was too old. So you shed painful tears. But I turned away but you still waited for me”
I don’t know about others, for me, the significant calling sessions that are emphasised so far are between PG and Shwa. They have been regularly phone calling each other like a habit. Count those sessions, if you have the time🤭🤭🤭 Hint: It started as early as Ep.1 😆😆😆
A love that was too old. So we can strike out runner from the equation as she did not fit the bill. Next, Ikjun. Presumably he was the one, did he wait for Shwa? NO. Did Shwa wait for him? NO. Both have had their lives sorted out with their own partners. Ikjun strikes out!
And we’re left with 🥁🥁🥁 PG! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Shwa left, she literally turned away, got into multiple relationships with no deeper meaning than the love she had in her 20 where she was burning with love in 1999. Yet, someone still waited for her. Was it Jwan? Nope he had multiple gf and he now has Iksun. Was it Shyeong? Nope, he got past her rejection, got married and now she is just his friend. So, I am again left with PG. 🤭 We’ll see what S2 has in store for us.

This scene was boring at this point in the story, drowned out by the other stuff.
I noticed that there were some interactions between Song Hwa and Jung Won.
He gives her a medicine at the beginning. She gives him something too. Look like they are the only ones that give objects here. Nothing obvious. However, we now know that Jung Won is the kind of guy who doesn’t say things directly. Very good at hiding anything. Even a love interest, certainly. We also learn that he has a long memory. 😇

@pkml3 That Mafia game shows that Rosa misinterprets what she sees. She is fooled by a friend of some 60 years, which means what? She is not as observant as she thinks she is and can’t read her friend as well as she thinks she does. She of course makes the same mistake with her son JW. She tells Jang that she knows her son and that the look in his eyes meant he liked Jang, … it was either a lie or wishful thinking or as in this case, an inability to interpret what she was seeing.
@WE, if he can hide the facts about who his parents are for 20 years, imagine what else he can hide and who is his partner in ‘crime’ 😀 The Kalguksu scene will show you how attentive PG is to Shwa. He readily carried that neck patches in his bag. He noticed her mood. He talked to her. She talked to him. The three musketeers were conversing while the other 2 guys were busy with something else. Kalguksu shows that out of the 4 guys, Shwa trusted PG the most. She took his advice and applied it to resolve her concern with the new older Professor. PG said every doctors have their own story (preferences/ way of doing things). Shwa used that to gain his approval for her to join his surgery.
Compare this with Ik Jun who told her that he will fix her illness no matter what. What did she reply to that?
“It’s nice getting a confident answer from the doctor. Now I understand why doctors should not give out such answers. It’s nice to hear that. It makes me think you’ll fix whatever is wrong with me. That’s why I should never say things like that to my patients. What if something goes wrong? If the result comes out badly, I think they would be in utter despair.”
She rejected his way of doing things. This is just one example.
Mafia game shows his position and importance in the series:

Who was the owner of Yulje where everyone moved to work? PG’s family
Who was the one making the others put their signature on Yulje’s offer letters? PG
Who was the one making sure Shyeong got his band session dream and eventually him onboard Yulje by vetting Shwa as vocalist and blackmailing Jwan into the band? PG
He might as well be the mafia himself. 😛
I have always wondered why no one auditioned/ even asked PG what instrument he can play during that Canon flashback. It was as if Jwan x Ikjun x PG were already a band. The script stated that Jwan x Ikjun joined the med school band and quit afterward. Did they form another with PG? Did PG has anything to do with Shyeong’s plan to join the band in 1999? Shwa too? Whose original idea was it? These are among the discussions I had with Ms. Sherlock. Looking forward to the truth behind Canon flashback. 🙂

Yes, another good point there @GB. Rosa did not see how her son reacts when he was with Shwa. She read him wrong the first time when she said he is obedient. I think she might as well read him wrong when she took his literal answer that Shwa is not the one, that he has no interest in any other girls. If only she saw how he turned soft and full on aegyo when he was around Shwa ^^ Oh mama Rosa… Let love finds its own way…

He was most un-Christian let alone un-priestly in that scene when he wanted to bring in doctors for his VVIP wards. He was going to bribe or threaten or use a weakness against his friends to get his way!!!
In the end giving double the salary was a bribe that everyone except SH took. Then to get SH on board, he had to form the band, and so JW threatened JWan with exposure about Hawaii. And finally with Shwa, it was another bribe, to give her the main vocalist role. He even said something nice about her voice, which was a lie. He can make all the Signs of the Cross that he may like, but he was not very Christian in how he manipulated his friends.
We may excuse him because he was doing it to be able to continue with the DDLL programme, but we need to acknowledge how Mafia-like he was as well.
Rosa considered him reasonable, the kindest of her children, the obedient one. But in matters close to his heart, JW was single-mindedly acting as he wished regardless of consideration for others or for their preferences.
He was obedient only in so far as it fulfilled what he wanted, which means he was not really obedient at all!
Episode 8
Winter Girl is really not smart, or she is too crush-blind.
Halfway through the episode, she still hasn’t figured out that Jung Won told her a fib about his weekend excuse, when nothing was more obvious in that dialogue.
And she learns that Jung Won spent his time at IJ’s.
I think she didn’t understand why Jung Won gave her the Cookie either.
Besides, she put it in her pocket right away. ROMP! 🙂

1:19:20 – Scene with Winter Girl and Jung Won.

She’s waiting for a car, and a young guy is inside (her boyfriend?).
Anyway, it’s done in the same way as the scenes of this kind where the protagonist becomes jealous. Except that with Jung Won, we don’t see much because he’s about as innexpressive as usual.
Is it a trick scene?
Or maybe he’s thinking:
“Phew, she’s not interested in me after all, everything’s fine”.
Episode 9
25:52 – IJ points out to Jung Won that Gyeo Wool is outside.
(really it’s a joke to see how he reacts).
27:11 – Gyeo Wool drives back from the meeting.
As luck would have it, Jung Won is just standing at the entrance to the hospital in the rain.
*Detective Colombo*:
“There is however, a slight detail that baffles me.
According to the witnesses, the young man who came to get her had a black car.
And now, this same young man is bringing her back in a white car.”
After, IJ question her.
I bet the guy is her brother, and his job is to sell cars.

3:00, there is a trick scene starting with a one-on-one meal between Song Hwa and Ahn Chi Hong. Of course, it wasn’t a real date, since the other colleagues come to participate in the meal.

I just thought of one thing: the staggering number of scenes with 4 or 5 characters around a table, talking, talking, talking.

She has an obsessive-compulsive disorder around this kind of scene.
She could have written the script of the Avengers, with only the heroes around a table, all along. Several meals like that. They talk about how they defeated Thanos. 34 scenes of eating and talking. Then, end of the movie.

I often write down lots of ideas. Just because an idea always needs to be written down. As I’m immersed in the hospital world of this drama, I had this silly logline idea.
If this were an official pitch, would it be teaser enough to make you want to watch the drama?
** Alien Surgeon. ***
Style : romance, fantasy, dark comedy.
Ko Jun is an alien with handsome human appearance. He was sent to Earth by his civilization 50 years ago to study and harvest organs from the human body. Now a surgeon, he has almost only one thing left to find: the gland in the brain that causes love. But he can’t find it.
Park Seo Hui is the prettiest resident of the hospital. So pretty that all the men, patients and doctors alike, fall in love with her. She shamelessly exploits their feelings to further her career, but she always ends up rejecting them when they become too annoying.
Ko Jun decides to get closer to her, with the goal of knowing the list of her conquests, and to study them closely, very closely.
@WE You can end your plot summary with the obvious ie in the process of getting close to the men PSH bedazzled, he awakens her interest because he does not fall in love with her, and in fact refuses to. He ends up trying to fend off her advances and is left with 2 choices. Go along with her to probe further how men fall in love or cut his losses and run for his life. LOL.
Black comedy would be good.

Obvious plot: Ko Jun has never fallen in love with a human woman because he is an alien. He doesn’t know what it is. As the drama is a romance type, there will be a romantic story between him and Park Seo Hui. As Park Seo Hui has never fallen in love, and just uses men, she will inevitably fall in love with this teacher who resists her.
Idea for the first scene: a surgical operation. Park Seo Hui is assigned to several different teachers (like in hospital playlist). This time, to Ko Jun. However, he is very dry. He criticizes her harshly for her professional ineptitude. She tries to play her usual charming act on him. It fails. So, she takes a lot of punishment.
She leaves the operating room in anger. Outside, there is one of the teachers who has succumbed to her charm. She act a whining show. He pities her, takes care of her. Another teacher arrives. Both are jealous. She makes them promise that she will not be assigned to Ko Jun anymore.
So Ko Jun has to find a way to force her to be his student again, once he learns that she is a great seductress. Maybe he will learn this from a doctor she “fired”. The guy is in tears, about to commit suicide. Ko Jun asks him what’s wrong. He confesses. If he insists that she come back, maybe she will get wrong ideas, and imagine that Ko Jun also fell in love with her. (It won’t come so fast).
As a comedy, the world of this hospital is totally crazy. Most of the guys are jealous of each other. Too many people are attracted by this infernal girl. She drives them crazy. Of course, she often lets them have certain hopes, to turn their heads, fool them. Just this part here is out of the ordinary. The girl is really immoral.
Another idea: someone (Park Seo Hui?) discovers the secret high-tech refrigerated room where Ko Jun keeps all the human samples. At first glance, a horror room created by a psychopath.
If there is a beginning of a relationship between Ko Jun and Seo Hui, he might ask her to seduce other men so he can study them. Of course, she would get angry, because she would like to see him jealous instead. By the way, if she really do it, he could become jaleous too. Discovering love. Cliché scene when he see her with another guy.
When Ko Jun very closely “studies” men, he performs open brain surgery. He tests areas of the brain. The “patient” is conscious. He shows him pictures of Seo Hui to see how he reacts. (One can imagine later that he will even ask Seo Hui to be present).
He questions them, “(looking at the encephalogram) Nothing, no results, are you sure you really love her? “, “Arrrhhhh, yesssss, I implore you, let me go.”, “Let’s do another test (show another picture)”.
A crazy conversation for a guy with an open skull. However, if he doesn’t kill them afterwards, he’ll have to find a way to give them amnesia. The number of half-zombie people in this crazy hospital will grow up.
There might even be a shocking scene, when Ko Jun realizes that he has fallen in love with Seo Hui. He asks her to operate on him! The alien gets his brain cut open by the girl he loves, so that she can test his own reactions.
This is a horrible comedy that goes over the top.
A bit like “Reanimator” movies or “Bride of Chucky”.
But with kdrama tropes, clichés, sweet love songs and romantic fluff feeling, totally contradicting the content.
Alien Surgeon, additionnal ideas.
Comedy elements depend on Ko Jun’s personality. Not defined for the moment.
However, some elements:
– He is a gifted surgeon, almost a superpower. Operates x5 times faster than anyone else. Ultra-precise. Never fails. Normal, he’s an alien. It is said of him “He has a hand in each finger”. Correlation to x5 fingers of an hand and operation speed.
– So the hospital will do anything to keep him, and will excuse any misbehavior or strange personality. Especially since there is a lot of incompetence among other doctors, who are more busy with their obsession for Seo Hui.
– Example: the director of the hospital understands that Park Seo Hui is responsible for too much disorder and decides to fire her. Ko Jun will demand that she stays, and he will be granted this whim.
– Dogs bark at him and go crazy, children cry in his presence, even a fly would rather land on someone else than on him.
– He has no social sense, or a distorted social sense. Making his conversations strange.
– Maybe he hasn’t been around for 50 years but less. He has learned to behave like a human by accidentally taking the wrong example. Like from a cartoon called “human” for example.
– He regularly exchanges communications with his operational base. A UFO in orbit?
– He’d like to go home, but his commander insists he can’t go home until he finds the brain gland of love. This situation puts his nerves to the test.
– He is not necessarily a murderous monster (that would make the character a bit too dark). He has therefore recovered his organ collection under circumstances that allow it. Such as recently brain-dead patients.
In the hospital, there is another rather beautiful woman, Go Jang-Yun.
– She is the most qualified woman doctor in the hospital.
– She is nicknamed Dr. Refrigerator. Because she is cold, arrogant, and certain of her intellectual superiority.
– She admires Ko Jun enormously because he is superhuman in competence.
– So she is the rival of the heroine.
– A good line she could say to her rival: “Ko Jun is not attracted by pretty faces but by pretty brains”. Correlation to the plot.
– The name Go Jang-Yun is an anagram of the Korean characters 냉장고 meaning “refrigerator”. And yes, I am a little prankster with names ^^
Episode 10
30:00 – Comedy scene to make believe that Gyeo Wool has a boyfriend.
Won jun is introduced in the scene.
XX:XX – One of the doctors had to beg the patient to be treated. This scene is not even shown. He just tells the event to his colleagues. Tssss. I still hope there will be a flashback on this, because this is serious. But since there have already been a lot of other omissions like this, I’m not getting my hopes up…
47:00 – Very good song with accoustic guitar.
The actors are impressive as they play their parts well.
Especially Jo Jung Suk. This guy could have been part of a real band.
At this point, the order of the musicians makes sense: Jung Won leads the whole thing on drums. Direct partner: Song Hwa.
Central place Ik Jun.
I noticed that in this episode, the writer forces the match between Gyeo Wool and Jung Won quite a bit. As well as the previous episode.
Gyeo Wool is quickly exonerated of all her previous blunders, and becomes the girl who works hard to improve herself.
Without this kind of development, it was impossible to at least give the illusion of the game. Since Jung Won is airtight, no conclusion can be given about a future relationship. The mystery remains.
49:00 – I had guessed right about the car dealer brother. Knowing this, Ik Jun tries to get Jung Won closer to Gyeo Wool.
Ik Jun plays the godfather in his turn, and proposes a risky plan, cheeky. Trying to make his friend Jung Won jealous with the fake flower bouquet. Ik Jun, man, what are you playing? ^^
On top of that, he bribes her by allowing her to do a surgery if she agrees to the deal. Damn. Is this really the kind of plan to do. 🙂
51:00 – Music group with Jung Won singing.
This sequence is scandalous!

And there PLOUF!!! The blur effect on Song Hwa disappears and it’s Jung Won who goes in blur in the background.
End of Lyrics: “That I will protect you, until your tears dry”. (corresponding to disappointment that Song Hwa had with men). “In the distant future, may we remember this day. If we can kiss”.

Jun Wan learns that his girlfriend succeeded in her entrance to study abroad. What is interesting is that this information is given by Ahn Chi Hong, who often talks to her on the phone. To the surprise of Jun Wan, who is not yet aware of the situation.
The lines are there to accentuate his unease.
IJ – what? I’m not going to see my sister for three years?
And the masterful conclusion:
IJ – if she had planned something like this, she could have told me.
IJ – even strangers know more about her.
@Cleo – I’m making a risky assumption that I don’t believe in, because it’s far too apologetic of the writer’s writing style. But it is fun.
All of this non-stop, pointless verbiage throughout the drama is there to tell us:
“only believe what you see.”

Since I haven’t seen the Reply series, nor the Prison Playbook, I haven’t encountered the Writernim’s and PD’s style, so I am enjoying the story so far.
I have come to some conclusions regarding the character of some of the main cast.
Still, I am enjoying what I see and I am focusing on that.
In our rewatch sessions I might notice something more. 🙂
1:50:50 – IJ gives Gyeo Wool some chocolate balls.
All the dumplings in both her hands are swallowed directly into her mouth.
Watch the extreme cheek swelling and chewing noises, as she continues to… talking with her mouth full to IJ. Ahah!!! That’s the first thing we tell kids at the dinner table “don’t talk with your mouth full.”
Jung Won enters the room at this point, lol!!!
Gyeo Wool puts her hand in front of her mouth, we don’t know if she’s trying to hide her cheeks, or trying to stop a sudden dismissal. She makes a little “mmoo” squeak, almost imperceptible to the ear. But we feel that it comes from the throat. 🙂
Then they let her flee hastily out of the room.
Ik Jun tries to tease Jung Won about her, but no answer.
However, Jung Won is suddenly strangely thoughtful. Even slightly disturbed. He remembers something.
And here I trust the action because the scene that immediately follows is :
Obviously a flashback. With Ik Jun and Jung Won in the room. But also Song Hwa. Jung Won walks Song Hwa to the exit, hugging her (he’s practically groping her, heh heh). AND, better yet, missed act!!! He forgot his phone in the room. And yeah, that kind of thing happens when you’re dizzy for some reason…
There’s a reference to the equipment they’re buying, but I didn’t get that story.

However, she goes about it in a rather cheeky way. First she assumes that the teacher loves her. He gives her a negative answer in form. However, she confesses in spite of everything (she thinks he is not very convincing in his refusal?).

@WE, the story shows that Shwa easily allows PG into her personal space through that shoulder hug. She lean on that broad shoulder, keyword – willingly. 🤭🤭🤭🤭 Compare this to when Ikjun purposely touching her feet during meal and how she – willingly – kicked him away. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Look out for similar comparison in Ep. 11. Look at how shwa acts between the two men. The key to shinlee main pairing is who does the FL like/ choose? Simple. 🤭
The flashback on the phone shows Ikjun already found out PG’s secret i.e. the Daddy Long Leg program.
The chocolate scene imitates the prior scene where Ikjun’s sister, Iksun gave chocolate to Junwan in similar act. Coincident? 🤷♀️

Did you know that my wife is a fan of your drama?
The other day, she told me about a scene. A group of young people were playing music in their rehearsal room, in the basement. And then my wife said to me: this is great, it’s like watching them in concert.
I woke up that night, because I was preoccupied, without knowing what exactly. I turned my wife’s words over in my head for hours. You know how it is, we police officers are a little slow-witted.
The next day I went to see our neighbors’ son’s band while they practiced their song. When I am concerned about something, I am always curious. Slow-witted but curious. I even took a picture, look.

Do you notice anything strange?
In the drama, the musicians are all facing the same direction, as if they were giving a concert. Just like my wife told me. But in this picture, the musicians are in a circle, facing each other. I asked them if they knew of any other music bands in town. So I went to visit all these music groups. Just out of curiosity. There were 42 bands in all. I visited them all while they were rehearsing. In garages, cellars or recording studios.
“PAF” (slaps his fist in his hand). And guess what?
None of these bands were facing the same direction or gave the impression of a concert. The musicians were always more or less facing each other. Even the singer. Forming a circle.
It’s astonishing isn’t it?
So I wondered, why the drama band was always turned in the same direction, as if facing an audience during a concert?
The answer was simple:
There was someone else in the room, listening to their songs.

Any new idea can be accumulated. Even if the idea has no direct relation with the others, and is in contradiction. Only with enough ideas can a plot emerge.
The personality of the alien must be better defined as well. You need a personality that provides comedy in an unavoidable way. For example, a character like Dr. House is inevitably comical. Without copying that character, you need to come up with an idea for someone who will always produce funny interactions by contrast. Characters can be redefined or changed after plot ideas as well. Nothing is set in stone at this point. 🙂

Just here, an idea for a scene.
Ko Jun is guiding Park Seo Hui during a risky surgery.
First, he tells her that she is the one to perform the operation, and only her.
As she is not very competent, she shakes. And then…
(romantic drama song).
He sticks to her back, and takes her hand to guide her.
She shakes a little, all excited. Hey hey.
The dialogue must be weird, like :
KO JUN – Calm down. Just take three long breaths of 20 seconds each, to stabilize your alphas waves.
KO JUN – You have nothing to worry about. All you’re doing is simply putting a metal object in contact with biological tissue.
Alien Surgeon.
Some ideas.
– The UFO ship could send another alien to check out the work. That would make this character a serious antagonist.
– Ko Jun has heard many people say: love does not come from the brain but from the heart. From his point of view as a biological expert, this is nonsense, it is superstition.
– However, the love gland in the brain does not exist either. For this scenario: it is impossible to locate the source of love anywhere in the human body. It is a transcendental principle. Therefore, it is beyond Ko Jun and his civilization.
– If Ko Jun concludes a romantic affair with Park Seo Hui, he will tell his bosses that he cannot find the love gland quickly. They will leave him on earth, and he can live a normal married life. This is a possible ending.

At the beginning of the drama, if we keep the idea of the surgery where Ko Jun mistreats Park Seo Hui: she complains to the teachers.
A next scene, with the director of the hospital, something like that:
DIRECTOR – Are you asking me to fire Ko Jun?
TEACHER – Not exactly, but–
DIRECTOR – You incompetent bastards are asking me to fire the one guy who does the job of five of you, only better.
Later, there’s a plot twist. Here the director is a man, and like the others, we can assume that he has an affair with Park Seo Hui. Plot-twist: the director of the hospital becomes a woman. Firing Park Seo Hui quickly becomes one of her priorities. Park Seo Hui is in trouble! But at this point of the story, Ko Jun will have to understand in time that Seo Hui can be useful to him. So, after the cliffhanger, Ko Jun convinces the director to keep Seo Hui, otherwise, he will leave!
Apropos of nothing, your organ collector reminds me of a story/cautionary tale told to my 9th grade class by our official(home room)/science teacher. She always loved science butcould onky get a jib at NYC’s medical examiner as a high school graduate. Andvthat jib was…organ grinder. This job gave her the impetus to save up for college and uktimately become kur science teacher. I hope there are no organ grinders in your alien/doctor romance.

Last night I finished watching “Hospital Playlist” and I would like to share some of my thoughts. Since I am not aware of the writing style of the Writer-nim and how the PD is executing it, like in Reply series or the Prison Playbook, I will write how I am interpreting it, taking into consideration the threads I have read in B.O.D.
I really liked the Series. I enjoyed it very much and the touching scenes were scattered in all the episodes, but in Episode 12 the stillborn baby scene was pretty intense, following it with the patient with the STENT infection and the revelation that Song Hwa was the reason the Twins Interns went into Medical school.
As for the big elephant into the room: The *winter* kiss, I will say my thoughs later on.
The most important part of HP is that slice of life we are witnessing. It is not everyone’s cup of tea and the way the PD and the Writer-nim used it, was slow in the beginning and better while the series were progressing.
I will focus more on Chae Song-Hwa and Ahn Jeong-Won for now and if I don’t have time to finish this, I will come with a part II.
For me Song-Hwa is a beacon of light. I am so very glad that she was portrayed by Jeon Mi-Do. She did more than justice in her role.
Song-Hwa was the center of the cycle. Not only between her band mates – friends, but also between her Residents, Interns, etc. That’s why she was so sought and loved by people.
For that I am grateful, because she portrayed an intelligent 40 years old woman that is beautiful, kind and tries her best to save patients and live her live fully.
As for Jeong-Won, he was the only one that we didn’t get how his character works. We don’t know how his brain works exactly, except from work and the way he was interacting with his friends. There he was giving his everything.
What I mean by that. Of course we know that he is from a chaebol family, still he is most of the times broke, because he helps others. He is the good Samaritan, he is a great doctor and an empath. When he is losing one of his patients, a child, he breaks down and he feels he is not worthy as a doctor.
Throught the series, we are watching him struggle with his decision to become or not a Priest. He had it as a gateway plan, but not as an excuse. It was his comfort. He thought that it was the best for him, because he wanted it since he was a little boy.
What I realized in that scene with the coffee he was having with Song Hwa are the following:
1. For Song Hwa, Jeong Won is her absolutely favorite of all five.
That genuine ear to ear smile wasn’t showed before with anyone else, even Ik-Jun.
2. Jeong Won trusted absolutely Song Hwa to leave her DLL. It was his most cherished work and he would give it to her and only her. That was revealed to us since Episode 1.
3. I believe that Song Hwa was relieved that JW wasn’t going to become a Priest.
Mostly because she knew that he was a great doctor and he was needed there to save lives, but also because he might be her rock and vice versa.
There are people in our lives that are ours persons without any labels on them. I don’t know what the Writer-nim and the PD will bring in Season 2.
But seeing them together is a joy.
Song Hwa left the Hospital when she felt that too many -male- eyes were upon her. Captain Ahn was wrong to pursue her in a way that could stress her relationship with Ik-Jun.
I think she also left, because she knew that Jwon had to start living his life as well. JW had to realize for the first time what he truly wants to do and goes for it fully.
Now for that kiss scene. JWon decided to stay as a doctor because he decided that it was the best for him, after the feedback and love he had from his patients and their families, not because Gyeo-Wool asked him to do so. I wanted to clarify that, because some think the opposite.
I hadn’t see it coming since I don’t read spoilers, but they gave us a last minute foreshadow when Song Hwa said: “Winter is finally here.”
What does it mean though? Will Winter stay in the Garden or Spring will follow?
That is something that we will get to see in Season 2.

Part II
I would like to start this part with the tsundere type Kim Jun-Wan. As a doctor seems to be insensitive, but he hides his sensitivity with a Harry Potter’s invisibility cloak.
In the beginning you might be intimidated by him, as his Chief Resident Do Jae-Hak is, but while the Series were progressing, we could fathom more about the guy.
He has a very specific code of ethics. He saves the patients’ hearts and he is deeply moved by his infants’ ones. Every time he saves one’s heart, touch one’s heart, he also saves his own, but this is implied.
We have seen several babies that he saved and not saved, but for me the most touched scene was in Episode 8 that he went to the Funeral and tried to console the crying mother. The band was playing “With My Tears” by Seo Ji-won that was one of the highlights of the series for me.

I won’t forget that he became a Chief of CS in order to spare Jae-Hak’s punishment that Professor Cheo proposed. He always took care of his own people, as he did with Song Hwa and her cheating boyfriend in the beginning of the Series.
As for Ik-Sun, he is madly in love with her and I didn’t like how things were left in Episode 12, I want to believe that it was just a misunderstanding.
So, below his hard shell, he is a very sensitive guy who loves his friends and closed ones and takes care of them. He was also relieved that JW decided to stay a doctor.

The absolute joy of the series is Ik-Jun. He is highly intelligent, a skillful surgeon and tries his best as a single father to raise his son Woo-Joo.
I didn’t like that his wife cheated on him. He may seem that he is a flirt, but he was loyal to her. There are rare cases of husbands accepting that their wives want to follow their careers and let her live abroad, while he is taking care of their child / children.
He wants his friends to be happy, that’s why he plays Cupid matchmaker to Gyeo-Wool’s crash to JW or tries to change Seok-Hyeong’s mind about accepting Min-Ha’s feelings.
I also felt that we were shown few scenes with his son. I bet he tries his best with his parenting and he is there for WJ but we didn’t see that so clearly. It was showed interactively when WJ had fever and SW came to the rescue.
He had a crush for Song Hwa but he didn’t do anything about it, when he learned that she rejected Yang Seok-Hyeong back in ‘99. I really liked that. He was there for his friend, even though it was killing him.
From Song Hwa’s reaction, I think that she won’t reciprocate his feelings. I don’t know how they will show us that in Season 2, but I am glad he came clean about that too.

Lastly, my thoughts on Seok-Heyong. He is the stoic one. He takes alone time to heal himself from his divorce, then the passing of his sister, the breakdown of his mother and his cheating father. He loves what he is doing. You can see that even though he doesn’t manifest his feelings.
I enjoyed the way he was treating his patients, especially the lady that had two miscarriages and in the episode 12 we learned that she will give birth to her baby in a full term. The most intense scene for me was the scene with the stillborn baby and how the mother reacted.
As for Min-Ha, I really like her approach to him. She went from being biased for him to crash on him, like she was peeling the layers of an onion.
I do hope Seok Heyong will give himself a chance to happiness, after he heals completely, because everyone deserves to be happy.

P.S. Regarding Jang Gyeo-Wool, she is totally clumsy and doesn’t care to act in a feminine way. In that way, she is the opposite of Song Hwa, because yes, she even burped in front of the guys, but you cannot question her being feminine.
Gyeo Wool made herself to be one of the boys, whereas the boys are her 13 Professors. She was treated like a Princess, but she was by name, not by grace.
I don’t dislike her, but I am not rooting for her either.
She didn’t know how to behave in front of the guardians, but after what JW told her she tried to change. She is becoming a good surgeon, but I cannot fathom how she is as a person.
The actress playing GW is good looking, I don’t understand why they had to make her look like that for the most part. For me, Doctor Bae was brighter as a character and more appealing than her!
P.S. 2 I didn’t like that all those Residents tried to snoop around about their Professors. Gyeo-Wool was the Queen of that gossip squad and most of the time, she looked pathetic by what she was being told. The Writer-nim thought that she was giving us clues about the five friends, in an indirect way, but at the same time, you could cringe from the gossip and dislike what all did.

I think you nailed what show wants to tell about the main 5. The fangirl runner resident is what YYS would call his character in General Hospital 2 i.e. a character who tells about other’s story but himself. Hence, the lack of background story there. This is not a characteristic of an important or even a main character. It is there to fill in the viewers about the main casts. For Iksun x Minha x Chihong x Jaehak we were at least given their history of how they chose to be who they are today, their real struggle as residents. I can’t say the same for the dense resident. Her struggle (?) is not believable to me. They keep on putting out her character to just be there to sort of be a conflict between Shwa x PG. Her struggle in being a resident became secondary and her motivation to get PG’s affection became her primary motive. A distraction of sort. They might write her a happy ending since she agreed to stay on for S2 but I couldn’t care less. Is she becoming a good doctor? At the moment her crush is more than her desire to improve herself in her profession. That last statement of her in ep. 12 is not what I would expect from a good doctor. It just shows that whatever she did thus far is just to get PG to stay with her. 🤷♀️
I also agree that it seems Shwa is giving PG a chance to experience love. The song I Knew I’d Love kinda implied this. This time around, Shwa will be the one waiting for him. Shwa said winter has come and it brought a thought that initiated a knowing smile on PG’s face. What happened in winter? Do they have a memory together in winter? It was told by Dr. Bong that Shwa started dating her senior after 1999. Her character description stated she burned her youth with love in 1999. ShinLee have again and again depicted Dec 1999 or winter of 1999 as the year/ period of separation (i.e. R1997 and R1999) for their main OTP. Something must have happened in winter 1999 for these two. This is just my suspicion. Who knows what the writer/PD have in store for us. 😂

I really enjoyed HP and the stories we were being told.
@WEnchanteur has commented several times about it, but mankind was around a fire, then a table, so subconscioussly it gives us warmth, to watch such scenes. They are important to us as human beings.

@nrllee, iirc most of the time the separation scenes were filmed during the time the sun was setting. They could have changed it to a brighter hour of the day. But it does not fit the time on those scene.
Example: Rosa came to beg the resident to help her, Jwon ran after Rosa on the phone saying about having dinner together. From here, I presumed that the hour was already getting late, hence dinner. The sunset is starting to set when both women met and continuously Ikjun arrived to talk to his favorite pet. It was sunset, hence the orange hue.😊
Ep. 12 started, perhaps simultaneously with the event at the garden, when the sun is setting from the view in Shwa’s room when Chihong came in to talk about her leaving.
I think even if they used the orange hue, it is to match with the timing itself i.e. sunset. If they can create daylight scene while filming at night time to fit the hour in the storyline, I think creating sunset using the filter is also a part of the trick they regularly used.😅
But what is key in these sunset scenes is it means separation awaits those involved in the scenes. 🤭
Finally. After a year we can watch the teaser. Can’t wait to discuss about this drama again with you, guys ❤

Someone remind me. What did MiDo say Jwon was to SHwa in the Q&A during S1 promos? She said IJ was her best friend. For JWon she said something different. She called him her support or something? Ah yes…Someone she could lean on? The song talks about being someone’s anchor. A steadying force. The MV of the song Human is in B&W. The couple portrayed have history. They have known each other for a long time. It’s like they are mirrors? They portray similar scenes. The pot breaking. They’ve been each other’s anchors. And they finally come together at the end…after a seeming parting. It’s like they’ve danced around each other for a while and they finally come together in the end. Nicely and quietly. No fireworks. Just an understanding. Like our FG couple. ❤️🌸

@nrllee, the song lyric and the MV are very moving.🤧 However I look at it, it screams FG. I don’t see any Ikjun or delulu runner described in the lyric. The narrative can be applied to 2 situation i.e. 1. Doctors – patients, and 2. The main pairing, the OTP.
So far, the ones relying on each other are Shwa x PG. The one that might be drifting away is PG and the one who will wait and pull him back is Shwa. Re. Abuser chase and the lyric from I Knew I Love.

If we’re talking about “anchors” then Ikjun would be the last person in the group I’d think of as an “anchor”? He’s too hyper. That’s why Songhwa smacked him and scolded him for being all over the place in Ep 3. In Ep 11, we see that she had him listed as “Goofball IkJun” on her phone (33:22).
And she didn’t ask him to help her carry her box of camping equipment in Ep 10. Between IkJung and JW, she asked for JW’s help. In Ep, she listened to JW’s advice about her professional dilemma.
All over the place ≠ anchor
An anchor is reliable and holds the boat in place during stormy weather.
IkJun’s volatility causes the storms. lol. He’s hardly an anchor.
Songhwa is an anchor, though. That’s why Ikjun wants her to be the mother of his child. And if you think about this: JW also entrusted her with his “child” too, the Daddy Long Legs project.
But while Songhwa gladly accepted JW’s DDL project when he asked, Songhwa evaded IkJun’s feelers and hints. Twice!! For goodness sake, any female who’s ever been pursued by a man she didn’t like, should know how Songhwa felt in those situations. She felt trapped.
As for the music video, “The Human,” the vase was an important image for me, there. The couple in the song cared for each other. The breaking vase symbolized that their relationship took a wrong turn. But their misunderstanding was cleared up after she read the letter he’d written. Hence, the broken vase was restored.

In Hospital Playlist, I remember two scenes with a vase. One was when that Ahn gave flowers to Songhwa anonymously. The other time was when Jwon borrowed the vase from her for his mother’s flowers. Ep 8.

I remember how Shwa x PG took care of each other willingly, like an old habit. Daerli also wrote at Tumblr about the origin of Maneki Neko following the sightings of these cat figurines on Shwa’s office desk. She owns two Black Maneki Neko, a symbol of protection against illness & bad omen. Thunderaven wrote about the cat figurines at Shyeong’s basement. It’s always been there even in 2019.
Shwa has no qualm letting PG took the vase and it remains in his room with the flowers arranged by Rosa.😊

But yes I agree with @packmule3. There should only be 1 sun in the universe. SHwa and JWon are so synchronized (reading each other’s thoughts) that they may as well be one sun.

About the points you copy-pasted, some are good for now. I can stick to it. The other alien antagonist should be great. I have a (very small) reason why he is involved. With a major threat. I even have another resident who could have a crush for this bad guy. 🙂 I don’t know her name yet, but it’s the only female friend of the FL.
I had also other crazy ideas. Need more times. I should rewrite the ideas files from now. Or I continue with the big mess. Doesn’t matter. Now, I know what it look like and the difficulty to exploit all the mess. I need some emblematic scenes. Crazy plot-twist. And more high concept. I would like to find an idea in SJJ style about multicontextual scene. But it will need far more ideas, work, and general picture to have it.
OR : find a way to open a collab space, anyone can throw ideas. So it’s more a drama build with all people ideas. Here, it’s just people don’t have the surprise to discover the story, as they know all the idea already here. But it could also be frustrating, because at one points, choice have to be made. When I’m alone, I end to make choices, drop some ideas, choose the more striking ones.
I would like to try this, but quite difficult : for any weird reason, and it’s really counter-intuitive (often the best ideas), Ko-Jun had to learn to act as an human. But his hierarchy send him to wrong material for that : a cartoon !
So his personnality should be a mix of :
– cold & clinical words.
– over the top weird reactions (from cartoon).
– alien personnality, I don’t know which one.
If I take the cartoon idea, I need to “make” this cartoon. There will be flashback with this. It need to create a comedy cartoon about human life, so alien civilisation could think it’s how humans acts. Before to be send on earth, Ko-Jun worked on this. And why this civilization get this cartoon and not other things ? By the time Ko-Jun is send to earth, they know their was wrong about the cartoon, but now it’s too late. Ko-Jun worked to much on his false identity that this cartoon personnality stick to him now. He could be the kind of guy to walk on a table during a meeting. Just read first scene, you will see a weird moment like that. After rereading it, I was thinking : it make quite surprising comedy.

Feedback on Alien Surgeon
I’m actually seeing this in my mind more as an anime or cartoon. Satire and farce, and dark comedy.
Female Lead
It is funny to me that her shoes go “clop clop” instead of “click clack” because I associate clopping sounds with horses’ hoofs on cobblestones. I kept imagining her as a proud horse with a mane of hair that is continually tossed, and the habit of snorting through the nose like a horse does. (No, I don’t own a horse. I only see them on TV) Calling her a “mare trotting to her mating” sounds about right!
It was good to increase suspense in what this clopping female looked like, by delaying the view of the upper half of her – perhaps besides expressions of delight or delirium those who see her could also show a version of horrified awe (or a female nurse etc may display disdain), that gets the audience to wonder if the clopper is scary/ugly or good to look at. Regardless, the expressions on those who see Seo Hui are not ‘peaceful’.
We lay aside the fact that she cannot be keeping her high heels on right into the OR: I presume we need the people in the OR to look up at her, therefore we require that she makes a distinctive noise as she passes or enters. Also we needed weapons to hand so that the doctors could hit each other with her heels. LOL.
We get the idea that to Ko Jun the operation is serious and important, but to Seo Hui, it is a farce, just a stage upon which to make a great and late entrance and to launch her next act. She behaves like a tantrum throwing prima donna with her servile assistants when she cannot get the limelight.
I’d like the Hospital Director to really be replaced by a female so that Seo Hui does get kicked out. LOL She has no business near patients in any setting!
The beginning establishes enough about Seo Hui to make her unlikable and yet interesting. I want to know what her deal is. What on earth is she doing in a hospital instead of on the stage!!! If she wants adulation, why go to med school?
One presumes the obvious issue with her. She wants complete adulation, but is unable to get it from the one person whom everyone respects, ie Ko Jun.
I’ve the impression that not only is Ko Jun alien, Seo Hui too might be, (but from another Galaxy from ML) since she has a deadly attraction for human males. The only one unaffected is the alien.
The Male lead
Much taciturn control and lack of expression that gets those around him anxious. Let us not establish if he is really good or not or an anti-hero.
Not much in ML’s styling is cartoonish however. It depends on which cartoon you will produce for him to emulate. Except that he twirls his scalpel and is able to operate within minutes that which takes hours to complete, which is only possible with cartoons, there was not much cartoonish about him. The cartoonish reactions of those who saw FL were more obvious.
It’s hard to be a cartoon character in an operating room unless you make ML a wise-cracking, or more talkative character… a bit more like Ik Jun who has a high opinion of himself. ML and FL will butt heads because both are so full of themselves… is a possible scenario.
However when it comes to the actual operation, ML changes to be a precise robot of surgery, making no mistakes and as you have it, totally not distracted by anything FL does. He remains inexorable not only because he’s a great professional but because he deliberately wants to bait and taunt FL.
It is of course the great contrast you are going for… that human males fall over themselves to be slaves of Seo Hui while Ko Jun won’t give her the time of day… therefore the question is raised… is he even human? And hence we have the mystery.
The twist is, whether Seo Hui is human or just a horse alien in masquerade!!
The other doctors
The argument about whether Seo Hui needed a cardiologist or psychiatrist was amusing. In line with the overall farce.
Against all that is right and fair, they will pull strings to make life difficult for Ko Jun.
The other twist and dark comedy comes in when the wonderful life-saving Ko Jun is also happy to do away with tiresome colleagues who block him by harvesting their organs.

I couldn’t have known that until I took this writing test. Things just come to me. I have very little control over it. There’s the style that’s defined on paper, but there’s what I can only naturally produce. And sometimes a difference between the two 😉

I don’t know if the tone could continue so much into excessive comedy, or if it becomes more dramatic, more kdrama, later on. I’d like that quite a bit. It depends on the plot. Maybe, maybe not. Impossible to predict at the moment.

Even if it doesn’t answer the things that need to be fixed in screenwriting: shortening sentences for example, detecting tell-not-show, or others technical points. It does however answer the logic of the events, or if there are passages that we don’t understand. You didn’t notice anything about this last point, I guess it’s conclusive and there was no ambiguity. What is written is what one can instantly and easily imagine. I hope so.
The descriptions are a bit more extensive than what you find on western screenplays, because giving an ultra-clear rendering of the situation is my priority. If you look in more detail, the order of the descriptions also corresponds to what you would see on the screen in real time. Like a pre-cutting of shots. I don’t know how much this is used. I’ve seen it in screenplays.
There’s a rule that says that the screenplay must not interfere with the director’s work. But since this will never be realized, I take liberties to further simulate the screen rendering. I take the liberty of saying, for example, that a breath of wind makes hair fly in slow-motion. Maybe the screenwriter shouldn’t write this, but it’s more enjoyable for someone who reads this for the story, not just for screenplay.
However, I keep the absolute rules of a screenplay. No prose, no out of context elements on screen, shortest sentences possible, present tense narration. Basically, I would never write “this character was sad thinking about his mother who died 2 years ago”. I would describe how sad he is (is he crying? Does he have a bent back?), and then I would go into a flashback showing the mother’s death or funeral. And if needed a “Subtitle: two years before” indication.
With practice, I think you too can easily find ideas for missing visuals (for the screenplay), or how to twist a situation further (for the story). Any serious drama watcher like here don’t need much than imagination, instinct, analys and thinking, for helping, or even create and write.
You did see the gag about the mare’s hooves. It’s the thing prepared since the beginning, and which falls at the last unpleasant remark of Ko-Jun. 🙂
This gives me an idea for a correction: I should specify that her high heels are not thin (click clack), but thick heels (clop clop). From the first sequence! Clarify that her hair looks like a mane? I can’t make her neigh, though? ^^
The sound of the shoes when entering the operating room. From a logical point of view, indeed, it passed me under the curtain. See how easy it is to create a mini plot-hole, even if you are rigorous about logic? The noise should be less than when she walks. I won’t write CLOP-CLOP. But at least point out that the male residents notice her because of that? There, she just waits, the first time, until she is noticed. Might as well save time.
It is unacceptable and outrageous that a resident would enter an operating room with high-heeled shoes. This must be shocking. The audience wonders: What?! Huh? How could something like that happen?! What kind of delirium have I fallen into?! That’s why it’s like this. To push the limit. To hit hard. Provoke the audience. 🙂
How is it that in this crazy hospital, someone can dare to do that? I hope to make people guess that this is her habit. That she gets a free pass because she is the teachers’ pet, and they give in to her whims. It’s stupid and silly, and very unfair to the others.
At first you don’t know that. It’s just aberrant to see that. Her whole seduction game is aberrant too. We don’t understand until the last sequence. She just wants to put Ko-Jun in her pocket as she did with her other teachers. The first sequences with the men falling like flies is there to show that she doesn’t need to put much effort usually. She just wanted to unpack the big game, roughly, without bothering with subtleties. She knows that her seductive power is instantaneous. It’s proven from the start when she passes the men in the hallway. So she can’t understand that a man resists her. No way! This has never happened! She finds this unacceptable, unfair, and so she grumbles as she leaves the room. She doesn’t blame herself, but Ko-Jun! This guy is not normal, obviously. It lead to a line I didn’t have in first draft, and I get the idea later. “Or an alien”. Close-up on Ko-Jun, first time he reacts, raise his eyes. Rule of cool in action.
I tried to convey the idea that this was the first time she met Ko-Jun, so she needs to seduce him. But that may need to be emphasized more later, for understanding.
The fact that the shoes are used in the last sequence is what I call “an intuitive correlation that is impossible to calculate.” It’s the magic of inspiration versus and for which I have no personal power. I just thank the story for providing the element it needs by itself.
Likewise some lines, it’s impossible to calculate, it just falls out of the sky. Like for example:
“How could this hospital function properly without you?”.
It’s the perfect irony, after seeing the various disasters already caused, and the incompetence of these two teachers, who think of treating her rather than the patients. Nothing can work in a hospital with a crazy person like her. And the irony being that the line comes from a professor. 🙂
You guessed one of the incredible plot-twist ideas I noted in the meantime: we learn much later that Seo-Hui is also alien. And indeed, not coming from the same galactic sector as Ko-Jun. I think about the interaction between these two civilizations. Why they both end up on earth at the same time. A few ideas are floating around. That’s why I mentioned “beauty alien-like”, even if it’s just for the script (the viewer doesn’t read that and doesn’t know). 🙂
So, I also found a motivation for the way she behaves. But it’s still very unclear. Of course, we need a valid motivation. Nothing prevents you from writing a funny scene and an outrageous character, then defining the reason afterwards. But we’ll have to find something solid 😉
I still don’t know aspects of the character. She’s a disaster for the hospital, and maybe she’s incompetent. But I also thought she might have perfect knowledge. Just, she has no sense of application and attention to patients. Lots of assumptions, no clear decision.
Like Seo-Hui, Ko-Jun is also revealed little by little. The first time, we only see his green glasses and his hands.
Ko-Jun does outrageous things in the room (cartoon). Bach music, scalpel pointed to the sky (very japanime friendly), scalpel reel. But he operates seriously. I see him as a person who will regularly “freak out” and suddenly do something unpredictable, cartoonish. And the rest of the time, a bit scary with his clinical and cold speech. Difficult mix. We don’t know his alien personality (I’m starting to get a little idea).
Thanks for your feedback, it’s nice to have one, it motivate, and that brings elements to better build the story. I usually have almost no feedback. On W2, I don’t know if the kdrama rendering is convincing and sound real (almost impossible goal to get past SJJ and want to go further) I’m blind to determine potential corrections. There are those that I eventually detect: lack of visuals, for example. On Alien Surgeon, the first draft was much cleaner from the start. I had less corrections to make. I improved since so battles with words and unsatisfaction.

I was blind on the last sequence about the shoes. It’s true! I’ve said it many times before. The story writes itself. If I did it myself, it would be bad. I’m just the poor guy working to write it right. My task is ungrateful.
Things came very quickly. Throw a shoe. The first surgeon to pick up the shoe instead of the teddy bear. Then after that. But by the way, if I have two professors planned, I might as well throw the second shoe too. So she throws a shoe in a different direction first. That way, each teacher has picked up their shoe! And they come and bring it back to her like a doggie with a bone. 🙂
They are supposed to fight a little bit to get Seo-Hui’s attention and be the one and only one who consoles her. How to do it? Here it is easy. They have shoes in hand, you can hit someone with that 😉
I’m thinking about your idea of putting an ambiguity about whether Seo-Hui is scary or admired in the first part. For example, with a female nurse who is disgusted when seeing her. The problem is that I don’t know how to add that, because every time I have: she walks, she passes a man. And the sequences are interspersed with those of the operating room. There is even the direction of the sound of the shoes that changes from the operating room.
Seo-Hui’s motivation in this way is related to a personal need. A personal need would be good to exploit. But also a more serious reason, related to the plot 😉
Having to find a reason after the fact is a friction-producing way of doing things. It can trigger many more ideas than setting something in stone beforehand. It’s that recursive principle I’ve talked about before. The plot builds the character further. Then the character builds the plot further, and so on, and so on. Without doing that, the ideas that come up are very basic and lock the story into something conventional, and often boring. It’s like saying: I’m doing a story with this character that I’ve defined well. But then, there is no interesting story, it’s in a straitjacket. With a recursive principle, however, it’s impossible to write the story as you go along. You have to plan a lot of elements. Almost the whole story, in fact.
Or maybe… The first man… I replace him with a female nurse ?

Look : if the first people she meet is disgusted, the audience is on a false track. Do you see the traps ? The second man with the cart : keep ambiguity. The old guy, anyway, it’s like he have a heart attack. So, there is only the last doctor near the sink, here we know it’s because men are admirative and female disgusted. Because anyway, we see her in the mirror and we know she’s crazy pretty.

Looks like he only wears one ring instead of two. Not sure which part in the teaser that you are referring to.
@nrllee I went back to see the scene when Jwan received the returned ring. He was wearing his ring. His watch. It shows 8.35 pm instead. I remember we initially thought it was 6.35 pm., right? So it took him 2 hours i.e. 6.30 pm to 8.35 pm from his room to the common room. 🤔🤔🤔🤔

Ahh yes @Cleopatra. It was the same clip that I shared above, in a collage form. He was on the phone and it looks like a bedroom. This ring is different from S1 because it looks like white gold? And it has curve in the middle. I only see one ring. His S1 couple rings both have stones and look like silver or platinum. It has no horizontal curve in mid ring like the one he wears un S2 clip. I could be wrong. 😊
@miracle23 Is that right? I couldn’t make out the watch hands that’s why I asked you. If it was deliberate and NOT a synchronization error, then there’s 2 hours between the time JWan was in the office and when he walked down the corridor and got the call about the package return. What was he doing in between? Checking on his patients? Unlikely because he was already dressed ready to leave when he was in the office. Did he stay around in the office and wait for JWon? JWon doesn’t have a car. They live together. So it’s likely that he would wait for JWon to leave together. Why then did he leave alone at 830pm? JWon had other plans? Or JWon was staying in the hospital looking after his patients in PCU like he usually does?
The scene is definitely spliced if the time is correct. Because after the whole kiss scene and flashback, we have MinAh texting SH to ask him out for dinner. And his phone says she texted him at 6:42pm.
We won’t have long to wait because S2 is nearly upon us. 😂

Now that you mentioned it, Shyeong, Jwan are leaving at around 6.30 to 6.45 pm. Should be the same for Ikjun x PG.
PG’s pc was still on and no coat at his chair when Jwan looked over to find nail clipper. But his PC was off and his white coat was on his chair when he was getting ready to leave.
Not sure if it was production glitch. They intentionally wanted us to look at the time on Jwan’s phone and on his wrist watch because they slipped the sleeve under the watch for that purpose. If you look at the sequence of the scene, the sleeve covered the watch and suddenly the end of it was slid under the watch to show the time.
It would be funny to make an error on things as detail as that in which you purposely wanna show. 🤭 We’ll see what they wanna tell us with all these obvious showcase of dates and times in ep. 12.😊
Also IS appears in S2Ep1. She must do because she was sitting beside KyungHo at script reading. She came to script reading in S1 but she left because she had no lines in Ep1. I am assuming they are reading through Ep1. So it may be a jump forward in time in S2Ep1? IS was supposed to be away for 3 years. Unless she’s just on the phone in UK with JWan. 😂 If it’s a time jump forward that would make sense that SHwa returns to her office. Or we could have the scenes like they did in R94, pretending the other person was overseas Eg NaJung in Australia. Chilbongie in US. So not that far forward a jump.

Am interested in learning about Songhwa’s illness and how it will impact the others. I feared it was serious and impacting on Songhwa’s work-a reason for her to go to the smaller satellite hospital. While watching season 1, I thought the guys took Songhwa for granted. The expectation seemed to be that she would always be there for them -having coffee, taking care of kids, taking on the work of foundations-being an all-around caregiver. And being the ultimate doctor-perhaps better than others because look at how many women were in their med school class in 1999. I really think that a health crisis for Songhwa would change the dynamic of the core group. However, it seems that thefe’s no hint of that in the early publicity.

@miracle23 Shin’s words or the reporter’s interpretation of what we’ve seen so far in posters and teasers? There’s a difference. One is straight from the horse’s mouth Eg band positions are fixed. The other is just what the writer is saying he “thinks” is being conveyed in the teasers and posters.

Saw a YouTube of the Fan 5 camping.Apparently Neon MiDo is not a camper but is s very talented furniture constructor,(she probably slays Ikea). The ctyx if the video was how all the four men care for, praise and love her. I also took it that the same should be said of the crew. Here’s hoping she gets a satisfying storyline. What I live about Jeon MiDo is that this is what I think is her first K Drama(correct me if I’m wrong) because she’s primarily been a musical theater actress with a gorgeous voice. And she already won a K Drama award. Two of her colleagues also have musical theater cred; Jo Jung suk and Yoo Yeon seok )both having played Hedwig) and Kim Dae-myunh having worked in theater. Given the admiration for Mi-do I hope they give her a satisfying partner and a beautiful live story. She certainly elevates this drama!

I think JJS likes to be the center of attention. He’s used to being the life of the party? So I would say he’s IJ to a tee. He held back somewhat in the Wise Camping Life but he was out of his depth. He knew nothing about camping. 😂. He had told everyone the last person on site would have to do the dishes. Turns out, he rocked up late (he was the last). And made an entrance. But he skipped doing the dishes. Weaseled his way out of it. The other 4 expected him to be late. He did the same at the script reading for S1 remember? The one at Shin’s house. MiDo came first (clock read 405pm). Followed closely by YS. Why would she arrive at 4? Presumably because they may have been told 4pm? Anyway, KDM arrives not long after. Clock reads 410. Then followed quickly by KyungHo (probably about 412 – that’s what the clock read). JJS doesn’t arrive till 445pm. Given his tardiness on both occasions, I would say he likes making an entrance. 😂. Everyone can wait for him. He waits for no one.

@packmule3 I had to go search. It’s Ep8. That ep was all about how you can pick the guy who a girl likes. It’s in how she looks at him 😂. That’s what NaJung told Chilbongie. She was gazing at Trash with that besotted look…just like SHwa looked at JWon as she watched him eat risotto. That ep had a lot of umbrella scenes. And it also had talk about first love? It so happens that NaJung’s dad met up with a famous actress (his first love) 😂 and his wife got jealous. It’s so funny because here is Ara playing a famous actress who also loved IJ (love at first sight)…and she breezes back into his life. The stories are all linked.

😂 If you ask me, I think the fact that Songhwa and IJ have their own umbrellas means they won’t be romantically SHARING one umbrella. Lol.
I mean, if you were eyeing just the couple stuff, e.g., who wore the same colored shirts or who had rain jackets on or who wore glasses, or who had umbrellas, then go ahead and pair up Songhwa and IJ bec they both had umbrellas.
But the whole point of the umbrella trope in kdramas is the sharing. The person with the umbrella shares it with the person who’ll get soaked in the rain. That way, they’ll both walk under one umbrella, shoulder to shoulder, arms brushing, one shoulder of the guy getting rained on. That’s the romance of the yellow umbrella.💓There’s no fun in having two umbrellas at the same time. 😂😂
😂 I am in the middle of watching Ep8 and there are so many references. The most important one? Remember how WGrs keep talking about Confession is Not Flashy being the WG anthem? We find out in Ep8 (around 28min), there’s a blackout and the gang are just listening to the DJ talk. The DJ talks about one-sided love. That if you’re in one now, it’s time to confess…and then he plays the song Confession is Not Flashy. 😂. That song is linked to unrequited love. Like Chilbongie to NaJung. Like Jang to JWon.

2. Samcheonpo aka poop guy of R94 got scared of thunder while watching horror movie and jumped to hug Binggeurae aka Shyeong of HP (the peculiar and loner guy of the group)

4. The psychic in tandem with each other and predicted the guy who was pooping i.e. Samcheonpo (also referred as Ikjun in HP🤣🤣🤣) as the destined mate for Yoonjin (the tough and grumpy fangirl). Yep, miracle, I remember the ep.8 of Reply 94. And sure thing agree with there is no fun for having 2 umbrella. Najung & trash were under the same umbrella, chilbong followed them behind with his own umbrella.
In other episod it happened too.
When Najung had injured ankle, it was raining, she called home to be picked up by her mom, but Trash was the one who picked up the phone. He then picked her up and back piggied her while Najung held the umbrella for them.
So yes yellow umbrella is the troupe.
And … there is a line between Songhwa and Ikjun on the poster.

The fact that IJ has his own umbrella means she isn’t going to share it with him. It’s pretty clear in R94, that it’s the one the girl chooses to share her umbrella with is the one she likes. 😂

The standard kdrama trope regarding umbrellas always shows a couple sharing an umbrella. Even in Reply 1994. I watched half before falling asleep.
One couple: the short girl and noisy guy::
the guy was carrying his own umbrella but he threw it away just so he could walk under the girl’s umbrella. They only walked a few feet before the girl left with her umbrella, leaving him standing in the rain.
The other couple: ChilBongie and Go Ara::
He brought an umbrella but he closed it so he could walk under Go Ara’s umbrella. She was on her way to pick up Trash, her oppa, who forgot his umbrella. She told Chilbongie that girls look at their sweethearts differently.
The next couple: Go Ara and Trash
They were walking in the rain 🌧 under the same umbrella and talking animatedly. Behind them was Chilbongie with his own umbrella. He was observing Go Ara look up at Trash. I say she looked starry-eyed, like a girl in love.

Our other two drs are left to the side and Shwa is in the central location. Also,if u brella sharing happens and A shares with Shwa, A would have to hold the umbrella becuse he is so much taller. And why should Jang be good enough for JW but not good enough for IJ? Because JW was a single man, and IJ was a divorced man? Because JW is a saint, and IJ is a manic man-child? Because JW actor is again playing a pathetic second lead just like Chilbongie in Reply 1994 and deserves only a supporting character like Jang, and not the main female character Songhwa? Aigoo. @BulmaGoku personally I think JWon always thought there was something going on between SHwa and IJ, and that’s why he stayed by the sidelines. And he was sort of right – because IJ was going to give SHwa the ring for her birthday. But I think SHwa has always had a soft spot for JWon. And IJ was never someone she liked that way. They are on different sofas 😂. With the sofa arm between them. No cuddling. SHwa has her shoes off (Cinderella again). And IJ picked up…his phone…with his resident maybe 🤣? Or UJu? Remember how I talked about shoes and phones? NaJung dropped her shoe, sprained her ankle in her cameo in R94. She dialed home at a phone booth and was expecting her mom but Trash picked up. SHwa tossed her shoe at the rehearsal at SH’s home. JWon picked up his phone in the car. At that time, his attentions were on 2 things – DLL and priesthood (he picked up his other phone and had that conversation with his brother). JWon handed DLL (his heart) over to SHwa. He’s not pursuing priesthood anymore. So he’s now open to connecting with SHwa again (with his heart program DLL). Keep paddling FGrs. I anticipate landing on the shores of Jeju where Canola fields are in bloom…warm and cozy…just the way we like it. 🤣

It’s the same atmosphere as the kalguksu dinner they had in Episode 2. Nothing’s really changed with IJ. When they ate out as a group, he’d be on the phone arranging to meet up with somebody or talking to a person in the hospital or talking to Uju. There was always something going on with him.
At the kalguksu dinner, Songhwa was bothered about her dept chief taking on her client. JWan knew about her dilemma already. JW took one look at her face and knew that something wasn’t right. They talked about it. But IJ and SH were in their own zones.
So sure they were together in her office in this clip, but they could have been in different worlds as far I could tell.

@packmule3 😂. I agree about different worlds – with SHwa and IJ – he’s just his usual crazy self (life of the party). There’s a rumor going round that SeonHo (Ala Start Up JP) will cameo. But I don’t know if that’s a fan girl’s “wish” or if it’s got any credibility. I get the feeling Go Ara may pop by…again. She was there in the BTS of Ep11. And her services weren’t even required? She just pops in because she loves the atmosphere? PD Shin has a real soft spot for her. So it wouldn’t surprise me if she shows up again in S2 for the backstory with IJ as a flashback.
I am pretty happy with how FG is tracking. Quietly with no fanfare…in the background. So we may have a time jump forward a year to 2021. SHwa is back from SokCho and we don’t have any reveals about what happened in that year or resolutions about the cliffhangers till later in the piece.

@packmule3 that Kalgaksu scene had so much packed in there so it was easy to miss. It took Shin 8hours just to film that segment. It just shows how critical it is to the storyline.

I only knew of the teaser after I finished watching the bts on TV. I heard the notification from my phone but I thought it was for the bts, so I ignored it lol. Anyway, if Ik Jun is still the same him as per Kalguksu, then best bet is Shwa already gave him a No. YYS is in his romantic mode acting now as shown in the clip of him in Shwa’s room. @nrllee, she bought a new car. Not a camper van. A sedan. There is clip when Jwan was looking surprise in a car. That is the one. PG was seated in the middle. This should be in ep.1 because during reading, they were fighting about seating arrangement and YYS read something about he always has to seat in the middle. I didn’t look closely at their clothes in that clip but I think it is the same coats for Jwan x PG when they waited for Shwa.
The camper van should be bought by PG. Mini camper van is in his room. Shwa will realise his dream i.e. house near beach. He will realise Shwa’s dream i.e. travel with a camper van🤭🤭🤭

Saw an interesting YouTube HP post by a medical doctor critiquing the medicine on the drama. His posts are listed as Dr. Mike and he wears scrubs sith his name onit. HP does well in dome jnstancesvand not so well in others. The doctor has alotto say about medical ethics, when to withhold treatment, properCPR fkrm and protocols and a whole lot moreincluding how to tLk to patients. He found the hair net over the Darth Vecer helmet useless and funny. I wish he had criticized maggot, but he didn’t. He also found Shwa’s useof raw eggs tohelp her sing incfedulous and recommended warm tea with honey. No shipping wars here but a nice digression…

My take on her; she does not hold a candle to Jeon Mi-Do. Mi-Do is a class act. My reason for this-during the first season if HP SHB was putting out herbown public relations during the heat of the shipping wars. As Mr. Knightley said to Emma, commenting on her ad behavior towards her indigent relatives, Bad Form. Even if her agency made her do it, she could have refrained. Just saying.
@Old American Lady, I’ve also just read the news about her. According to the filming schedule, she will need to be filming that drama with SJK from August til next April. I hope that would mean a time conflict with S3 (if there will be any) and cab I imply that she wouldn’t be there anymore or would just play very small part in S3?
@Au0101. I get the feeling LeeShin will end HP at S2 (good for us because it means FG will sail by the end and we won’t have to wait another year 😂). They had planned from the start to film at least 2 seasons. The 3rd was always a maybe. Given the fact that a lot of the main cast have picked up new projects post HP2 and the fact that Shin seems to be exhausted from trying to maintain the interest level for HP during hiatus (with BTS etc), I think they all decided to call it quits after S2. COVID didn’t help. All that added angst and unknowns made it even more difficult. Given the uncertainty still ongoing I think S3 is probably not going to happen. That’s my gut feeling.

That scene reminder me when jang and ikjun sat together when ikjun showed jeongwon picture 😅 (pd shin only shoot their back too) but the vibes so different. Yeah, teaser is for tease 😄
Looks like most of the residents from S1 are back, need to revisit S1 on the unfamiliar faces of the nurses (maybe I just didn’t pay enough attention).

@nrllee, IIRC I read somewhere else that they may re-release the 99s Camping segment next week as a lead up to S2, if so then today’s BTS will be the wrap up for S1.

@TheWanderer thanks for that about the Camping Life. I believe that was the brief that Shin gave to everyone regarding the format. 12 eps per season, 1 ep per week. If this is the last season (speculation on my part), he may tag on an epilogue at the end or just finish with the planned 12. Each ep does tend to go well past the 1hr mark though and the final ep does tend to stretch even longer – going from his previous works.
And talking about sunsets 🌅 – which appear in the poster and some scenes in S2 teasers, I only just noticed (pardon me if it’s already been mentioned in our many discussions in the past 😂 and I am just slow in the uptake) that the final song they sung in Ep12. It has a sunset in the lyrics. And it’s about waxing nostalgic and remembering good times from the past. From the BTS last night, Shin definitely put an orange filter in the scene in the courtyard between IJ and Jang. It’s very obvious from the BTS camera (no filter) and the real filming (with orange filter). So I would say it’s definitely a running theme.

I haven’t looked at the original article but based on your translation I think Shin will delve deeper into their Doctor lives. Same patient-doctor relations, Doctor-Doctor relations. But this time I think we will get to see their doubts, their heartaches, their mistakes, what keeps them up at nights. Thus far they haven’t had many “fails”. But we know that doctors are human. They make mistakes. They make wrong calls sometimes. They miss things when they are tired. They can overthink and worry about a case which keeps them up at nights. I think the residents need to learn this. Some profs do too. So I think it’s almost certain we will get a time jump forward a year. Bypassing SokCho. And bypassing resolutions for the cliffhangers at the end of S1. If S2 is the end of HP, then we will get full circle with resolution only at the end. He will troll everyone till then. 😂
I have a feeling they are gonna use a year in Sokcho as flashback if they started right away with Shwa returning to Yulje.

Hello there! I’ve been a lurker in this forum and in your sister blog for a couple of months now. I’m not Team IkSong/WinterGarden, but I’m not 100% Team FlowerGarden yet. That’s why it took me some time to make a post.
Tbh, I’m Team ShinLee. Lol! I mean, I’m siding on whoever their endgame is because I trust that the duo creates beautiful stories. And based on my watch and re-watches of HP, I am still not convinced with the IkSong/WinterGarden love lines. I could go on and on about the many reasons why, but most of them you guys already covered. On the other hand, I keep noticing the subtle cues between SHwa and JW. That’s when I decided to google if anyone thinks the same way as I do. Alas! I found this forum page and your sister blog. My theories coupled by your theories honestly make more sense than those of the shippers’.
I wasn’t planning on making a post/comment. I only planned on being a lurker originally. But when I pointed out some of my discoveries about JW and SHwa in a diff forum, a commenter easily went all mean and negative on me. OP and I were only having good fun with the details we noticed and our theories about them. We weren’t even dissing any character or fandom. But this commenter (probably a toxic IkSong/WinterGarden shipper) was quick to comment that our points were flawed and incorrect. I mean, we still don’t have season 2. Hence, they’re called THEORIES. Everyone is free to make his own theories/assumptions, right?
It makes me so mad that I can’t openly have a healthy discussion with these clues and theories with other fans because the shippers are so toxic. And that’s why I decided to finally join your discussion, because I know my thoughts are welcome.

But now that I know my ideas are not safe elsewhere, I finally decided to no longer just be a lurker here. Especially with season 2 coming up, I know our rational and creative brains will need a safe space away from blind followers.

Yes, these are called theories for a reason. Besides it is all just a drama where the fun lies in using our brain and the facts from the scripts to analyse what the producer and writer want us to analyse lol. Sometimes we got into an overdrive but hey, that’s the fun in it, no? At the end of the day, we really had nothing to lose with all these theorising because we stay true to our principles even if they don’t align with what is presented in the drama. We are able to say, hey I will not agree to that stupid, illogical narratives. Those are just bulls. And we move on to other dramas and/or carry on with our lives. We do not have to let these flawed narratives influence us and make us a toxic human being who can’t even accept differing views, and who thinks becoming a flying monkey is a thing these days. Life ain’t all butterflies and rainbow. To believe that is to live in a fantasy. Life is too short for such idiocy.

I do think personally that maybe Jwon and Maggot will date but I believe it won’t last long, I think that they will fall out love especially when one of them is too demanding of time or that maggot will sulken because she will be scolded by jwon most of the time, I think maggot has a tendency to tantrum like a child when she has a boyfriend and I don’t think jwon can handle it
Personally though I hate maggot I still want her to improve … and the only way for her to improve is to experience heartbreak… I know it’s kinda cruel but actually that’s how jungpal learned… through heart aches.
I think with that experience maggot will learn abt the essence of communication and how impt it is ….
For jwon… he is such buddha /angel and TBH if the kiss is true he was just tempted because I do think that it was the first time someone will confess to him… but at some point it is also pivotal for jwon to have experience heartbreak without it he will also not learn on how to differentiate true love and burst of the moment

Look at them right at the end. 😂. Would you believe they were the only 2 that got the best prizes? The others got booby prizes. KyungHo (JunWan) got a chain letter 😂. As a flower gardener, as much I would like to believe the seating arrangement here is predictive of what would happen in the drama, I think it is probably meaningless and just a matter of coincidence. However, if somebody is able to show PD Shin was involved in this video, I will happily stand corrected.

However, if we ‘assumed’ (cue theorising🤭) that the seating arrangements and each of the sequence of their TMI session was pre-arranged intentionally that way (i.e. starts and ends with the main male lead contenders) in which consequently will result in FG seating next to each other following this sequence of play, then…..bwahaahahahaah…. that is pretty sneaky of Shin PD and team. But again, this theory is no hard fact. Just for fun. 🤭🤭🤭🤭

YYS was first off…then it was KyungHo…so YS ended up taking his seat on the far right next to JS. And they kept swapping seats…until finally…YS ended up sitting next to MiDo 🤣🤣
