Personally, I don’t like tattoos and earrings on guys.
It’s also distracting when I’m watching a drama (especially a sageuk) and I see an ear piercing on a Joseon character.
@packmule3, I was going to ask. It must be something that the show required because his arm tattoo is visible in interviews. I don’t follow his group, but I’ve seen him in a few other things. Ha, I found the bandages more distracting than the tattoos would have been. I thought he had injuries because I’ve seen those bandages on divers and athletes. 😀
I noticed an earring hole in Ahn Hyo-seop’s left ear in ‘A Business Proposal.’ It makes me imagine that he has a secret life his grandfather doesn’t know about. 🤣

I just watched part of 114 and it’s more like the old S3 that I remember. There was the meal (lunch) and YB salivated whilst watching the older men eat. Then they played a game to try to win some leftover food. JongMin offered IW a portion because it was his first time. And IW shared his small portion with Ravi and Din2. Nice of him. 👍. Couldn’t keep my eyes open to finish it so will have to continue tomorrow when I have time.

If there’s a spelling game, Na InWoo is going to suck at spelling in Hanggul. The word “Dynamite” in Korean has 6 syllables. “Da- i- na- ma- i- te”
But he says it has 5. He probably was conflating it with the English pronunciation.
In English, it’s only 3 syllables. Di- na- mite
Or it can even be 2. Dyne- mite if you slur your “n”

😂😂😂DinDin on the speedboat. He was so cold and tried to sink into his life jacket to protect his head from the cold. He looked like a turtle. Ravi and DinDin looked like they were going to be sick and IW was the only one having fun. Loved their tour of the little island with a cross shaped sky overhead as they went through a cave. That was beautiful. Poor Ravi threw up what little he ate at lunch after the boat ride. 🤢
And the old guys had InJeolMi! Nice to see what it actually looks like (I have been wondering since 25-21). The views from that cafe! Wow. GeoJeDo (GeoJe Island) is on my visit list next time I go to Korea. You need to get to Busan first though. We enjoyed Busan. I think we should’ve stayed longer last time. There’s even a windmill on the island. The boardwalk along the sea was gorgeous.
IW is just a happy chappy 🥰🙂. Mr Positivity. No wonder he managed to pull of filming RWTMR with little or no sleep and kept his upbeat attitude right to the end. I can see why PD liked him so much he offered to cast him again in another drama. He would be very easy to work with and bring lots of that energy into the film set.

You’re right! 👍 Only a guy with a can-do attitude could do the long hours of taping for “River Where The Moon Rises.” I heard that for a short time, he was doing double duty because he was finishing up another drama/movie. So he was working 24/7 and sleeping on the way from one set to another.
Yes, Dindin looked like a 🐢 turtle! Did you notice? He and Ravi were wearing the earmuffs but they were still cold. InWoo wasn’t cold.
I laughed too when he complained to the skipper for purposely making zig-zags and getting them sick. Ravi was too out of it. 🤢 He definitely was seasick. He wasn’t acting. Poor kid.
If InWoo wasn’t exclaiming his enthusiasm, that boat ride would have been a silent one, and the director would have no useful footage to use for the episode. Inwoo’s reactions saved the 25 minute boat ride from just being edited.
I think the youngest and the oldest will make a good team for trips like this. Jungyoon would have loved the speedboat ride. He’s a speed demon, too.
Yes. So that’s how Injeolmi looks like. I thought it was the fusion version. I didn’t know injeolmi had a creamy center. But I would have loved to try their drink. It looked very artsy before the blue cream was added and made it all murky. 😂
Now I am wondering what secret IW has that will help team YB memorize those song lyrics (not my kind of song). I am hoping it will help them win the game for dinner. Yes IW said he didn’t mind the cold but he seemed awfully sensitive to heat? He skidaddled out of that sauna room as soon as he walked into it. Claiming his feet were burning up. I think I am quite sensitive to extreme temperatures as well. I couldn’t get into the water in the Onsen in Japan. It was so hot I felt like I was being cooked. I think I got as far as my ankles and then like IW skidaddled out of there. 😂
@nrllee, it could be a technique actors use to memorize lines. The song wouldn’t be at all familiar to the younger men either, so they might be at a disadvantage too. Will they ever get fed?
Oh, I felt bad that In-woo couldn’t take the heat there.
@packmule, I remembered that Din-din said in the car journey that Ravi gets motion sickness. Poor guy. The attendants almost had to carry him down the dock. I wondered what directions the director gave to the boat captain? It didn’t seem right because even a bit of rocking can make some people sick. Kudos to In Woo for keeping the trip going. I think he must have seen that Din-din and Ravi were distressed.
@Fern good point about the memory technique. I agree that the song is unfamiliar to the young guys so they would be disadvantaged. 😢
I had to laugh when the boat captain finally slowed it down and he was trying to talk about the history and highlights of that special island that they paused to look at. Neither DinDin nor Ravi looked remotely interested in what he was saying 😂. IW had to provide the dialogue by repeating what the boat captain said and sound intrigued 😂. Reminds me of the Grand Canyon flight that I had to endure with my family when I was a teenager. I get horribly air sick (I still do – I have to take air sick pills or I hurl 🤢). Anyway it was this tiny plane and the pilot kept jabbering on about the highlights of the Canyon as we flew over it. I had my eyes shut the whole time trying to focus on NOT vomiting 🤮. Didn’t see a thing on the whole ride. 😂.
