Thank you @pkml3! I trust your travels are bringing you home soon, if not already. May God keep you safe and well!
Hello. 🙂
Hello @WE,
Vous êtes un lève-tôt!
Is there a French equivalent of the proverb that says: ‘the early bird catches the worm’? (Not that there are worms here!)
No it was late already when I posted that. Else, I wake up 6am, but 5am is better (When in holiday or WE, so I can write early, the best time).
The expression you look for is maybe “l’avenir appartient à ceux qui se lèvent tôt”. What means “the future belongs to the ones waking up early”.
I finished the rewriting of ep33 to 36. Translated the two first. Now I’m looking for some photos for 35 and 36. A bit painful, but I don’t use too many, and mostly photos that don’t need a lot of work. For 35, I made some editing on this one:

You should recognize what it is, except there is a weird change. 🙂
@WE, I was thinking in terms of our Rewatch time, hence you were early. I’ve been out quite a bit today, and am tired, therefore if I am too quiet for more than 10 minutes, I might have fallen asleep LOL.
@WE, is that one of the famous Korean palaces (Changgyeonggung?) but you’ve changed the surroundings to be green, and added a mountain behind it?
And Ep34, I have this one. Just an image from W, but the editing on colors is almost perfect (mostly very lucky). Here YJ looks at something monstruous. So I wanted the colors give this idea. I can’t do an editing of what she looks, too complicated, but capture her expression is certainly good too.

@GB, nope, it’s the famous “Blue House”. ^^
But not blue with hint of red, here green with hint of yellow instead.
Well, YJ certainly looks affected by what she sees LOL. Can’t imagine that it would definitely be monstrous, but she’s not feeling positive or peaceful about it.
@WE, You’ve turned a blue house green with yellow? I have actually not seen much of the blue house from the outside or inside. Not likely I’d remember or recognise it.
Hi @GB,
I am also feeling a little sleepy today but I probably won’t doze off because Liar Game moves quick enough to keep me awake.
Hi@WE, that’s the Blue House the S Korean President’s office right?
@GB, yep! So… You can guess… What is this weird blue house now. ^^
Blue house is in a lot of dramas. City Hunter for example. At the beginning of Queen of ambition. Should be some shots on Blue House in IRIS too, well, any kdrama where the President of S-Korea is a character. 🙂
@Feifei. Yes, exactly. President house. 🙂
Hi @FF! I’m drinking coffee so late, just to see if it makes a difference to my concentration powers. Now that the aircon is on, I’m even sleepier.
3 minutes to go!
@GB, what time is it at your home?
@GB, I can’t drink coffee at this hour…. I will be wide awake after that.
@WE, we are at 9.30pm.
@WE, although I know that the Korean President’s official home is called the Blue House, I don’t actually recognise it. I did watch City Hunter but the house made no impression on me LOL.
It’s 9.30pm. Time to start!!!
9:30pm isn’t too late?! But it depends what time you usualy go to sleep.
@FF, not only coffee… I’m sucking a sour sweet LOL. I have either a super sour sweet that makes me cringe or a sweetish sour sweet.
AAAHHH …. I was right.
Ryo was JALEOUS of AK because he had better results.
@GB, sour lemon works too… I eat Kimchi to stay awake… the sour and spicy kimchi keeps me awake.
I sleep pretty late but I also wake up early automatically. I’m wide awake at 5am, don’t know why.
Now we’re getting the backstory of AS and Ryo. The professor was the one who made a great error in letting Ryo get away without doing a proper analysis. I have a theory that it’s because she cheated that she’s now trying so hard to make AS ‘lose’ properly.
@WE, the professor later says it’s Ryo who was right, but she got the answer from his daughter and not because she actually did any analysis. So it was a cop out. He should not have let her ‘win’. The guilt of that cheating is still weighing on Ryo now.
Oh they didn’t tell us who got the psycho analysis right …. keeping us in suspense.
@FF, we’ll know the results of the psycho analysis later.
I feel sorry for the players… herded about like sheep without a choice.
@GB, I forgot that. Excellent. ahaha. It was tricky because before the drama make us believe she won in the past.
Now this new game looks a lot like the last one of season 1. And is a bit complicated.
@GB, I see. So Ryo is trying to prove to AK that she can win him honestly through liar game that requires players to lie. So funny.
@WE, truthfully, I cannot really figure out the contraband games. Moving things from own safe or to own safe? But they did it in reverse? I was so confused.
Ryo is such a wet blanket, she will pass negative remarks when the others are happily celebrating.
PAUSE!!!!!!!!! at 10:10 !!!
@GB, go at 10:10 and let’s look at the picture.
@FF, that’s my theory about Ryo, anyway. Don’t know why else she has it out against AS so much.
She’s terribly unlikable, especially creeply when she smiles.
@WE, PAUSING at 10:10… what are we to interpret?
Contra band game again.
@WE what about the the picture at 10:10?
You can see all here, and it’s important.
Damn-it, I remember I draw a map of this, when the map is already in the drama ahahahah.
You see what happen here:
The red guy go in the blue zone, take a ingot in the red bank. Then go back. BUT when he go back, he must go in the white room (sherif).
So, we see with this map some tricks. Example: the red guy have a blue card, so he could take ingot in the blue room, then transfert the ingot in the red bank of the blue zone. Remember season 1, they did things like that.
@WE,… yes that got me confused. They moved stuff to the other team’s vault instead of into their own. And yet they won!
From the diagram, the Red team is supposed to bring over the gold from the red vault and place in the Blue vault? At the end, everything that’s in the Blue Vault will belong to the Red team?
There is still something very unclear. It’s how you can pass to red zone to blue zone. It looks free when you go to looks for the red bank.
But when you come back, you have to go in the white room.
@GB, yes. But remember: if a blue player give his card to a red player. Then you can cheat. This red player can take an ingot in the blue bank of the red zone!!
Now I am confused. hehehe
@Feifei, it’s better to be confused now than later. ^^
Just to say: with an opponent card, you can take an ingot in your own zone and bring this to the other zone. Of course, it needs a bettrayal for that.
@WE, Ahhh… so Blue and Red make a deal… Red is given the blue card to move gold from the blue vault to the red vault. Then they agree to split the winnings?
And when you do that: You don’t go in the white room, because you don’t come back in your zone, you leave your zone as a regular game when you have to take the ingot into the enemy zone.
Are you ready to RESUME, now????
@WE, ok now I get it. Yes 10:10 is an important piece of information to the game rules and the cheat rules. You are good!
Yes ready to resume!
@WE, so actually the betraying player, takes the gold from the other team’s vault, hides it somewhere, and then pretends to take gold from his vault… goes to the white room… but since he does not bring any gold, he’s safe. The Sheriff either is in on the scam or does not know and will sometimes guess wrong and have to pay the penalty.
OK RESUME!
@GB, this drama really hurts the brain. T T
In the writer mind: “it’s so clear and obvious”. 🙂
@WE, the Show tries very hard to make it easy to understand but somehow maybe the subs missed out something despite the diagram.
Now we’ll see the difference between Nao’s team and Ryo’s team. So much tension with Ryo’s team. She treats them so badly.
Ryo is unseferable aaaah, she’s Yokoya level about begin baaaaaad. She want total control on people. waaaaaaaaH. A big villain.
Just she uses different methods. Now a “obey the best and you get good points”.
@WE the writer has a complicated mind.
@GB, Ryo dictates the player sequence while Nao just leave it to the players to decide for themselves.
@WE yeah, Ryo immediately starts threatening/blackmailing to control using fear/intimidation, and rewards for snitching. Horrible person.
Fukunaga horrible and stupid song. ^^
Nao voice-over from the future used to put pressure on US!!
@FF, yes, Nao trusts and does not try to control. The team is happy and relaxed. By contrast the other team is SOOOO stressed.
Mushroom is over the top with his reactions again.
Again, Nao has to face the devil in the room.
@FF Fuku is always so childish and annoying. He’s out to provoke.
Now Nao has to investigate and bring back info.
Oh dear Nao face off Ryo. Ryo looks so cold and aloof.
The backstory again… professor judged wrong. Ryo did not do any analysis and should not have won the quiz.
Before AK say the plan, they was so stupid, thinking to get the ingot in their bank in opponent zone was like to win ingots, LOOOLL.
Ok, it looks really bad now. Most part of the Ingot are now in their bank (what means a bank in the enemy zone, so the enemy will win the ingot at the end of the game if they find no way to get them back).
The white room in this game is really a joke. Everything happens behind the scene in the corridors.
3 of Nao’s team members help the opponent to win more gold bars. AK should have told them the strategy earlier.
BIIIIIG bluf from AK to the right hand of Ryo.
But with her, the NAO power can work!! T T
NAO have the ultimate strategy in Liar Game. It only depends on other people trust.
Yes, Nao can only be honest. She needs to win and share her winnings.
People will have to trust her. He track record is good.
Now the game gets complicated. AK using the “Nao is the saviour” to convince.
This contra band game is complicated.
@FF, yes, now who will be the double-double crosser? So complicated.
@GB today Ryo is not wearing the top hat.
@FF, yes, I wondered why she put her hat on the young guy’s head. Symbolic of ‘owning’ him?
@Feifei, they have to make sure the maximum of money are in the bank of their zone at the end of the game. It’s why they give their own Ingots to enemy, so the enemy put that in their bank, a bank isn’t located in their zone. They just put more ingot in the bank. At first, they think they win more ingot. But they just win it in the enemy zone. And as you can pass only ONE ingot/match, you can never get back all of this.
Despite the stronger coffee, I’m still so sleepy. Think I’ll head off to sleep.
@FF, @WE,
Thanks for a fun party and interesting explanation on how to ‘cheat’ and win.
@GB a sign of dominating him?
@Yeah, see you next week. I have to go too.
@FF, yes, I guess it’s a sign that she’s lording it over them.
@WE, I get that I was just thinking about the inspector making a wrong call and he will have to pay the other team.
@GB & @WE, thanks for the fun rewatch. Bye and see you next week!
Bye @FF and @WE!
Hi @FF… if @packmule3 does not amend the number on the next Episode thread, then we’ll just use it with the wrong number and wrong date. Here’s the link to it. https://bitchesoverdramas.com/2023/06/06/liar-game-2-ep-8-rewatch-on-sat-july-1/
I’ve asked her to amend it … let’s see if she can do it in time. Hope you can find us!
Hi @WE, this is a test post… are you getting this in email?
