I think you’re doing God’s work with the religious education, @GB. I volunteered twice with religious education during my sons’ confirmation years. Because of my “contacts,” I was in charge of outreach, like trips to the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, St Matthew’s Cathedral, and a Melkite Greek Catholic Church (the kids were blown away by the liturgical rite!), and audience with a cardinal and helping at a shelter. But that was the extent of my volunteering. I can’t do what you do gratis for the children day after day, week after week, year after year. I can’t be a role model for sure. 😅
I find the current political drama in Washington DC entertaining at times, exasperating at other times. My mantra: just stay above the fray.
@pkml3 We are all called to different ways of working for God. It may not be obvious, but even in our daily living where we do our best in little things or family things, in choosing for the most good even at sacrifice to self and trying to bring as much justice as one can into an unjust situation we are doing what we can to bring the Light of the world into the dark corners we can reach.
Every decision to do what is right and good contributes to the building of God’s Kingdom and His ultimate glory. By keeping above the fray, as you say, while keeping your temper and being honest, you could already be a role model to those around you.
Speaking of being blown away by liturgy, when catechists break open the significance of our Catholic liturgy, I’m always blown away by the richness and the gift myself! And we hope to do the same for our little ones. 🙂

I follow closely all the news coming from USA. It’s awesome!! And from consultant/audit point of view, what he does is just from science fiction. Audit takes lot of time and it’s long to do. @MM, shaky camera is always deliberate… things are not going well and their world is being shaken up. Keeping secrets and feeling sorry for it. Working at cross purposes, everyone is on shaky ground.

Nice tension music as Do Kyun hears the police wanting to get Kim’s phone. He has to get it first.
Mmmh, the police want to securize SJ phone. What is out of question for DG. But he could spy the police.
@WE, these police are the Writer’s means to give all the protagonists info. They are forever giving out info that they shouldn’t and even speaking loudly in a public place without checking that the stairwell door is not closed.
@FF, my heart is young. Even with overweight, I’m class 5 best healty heart in my last analys. In a weird way and without doing lot of sport, I have a better healting heart than marathon runners. I think it’s because I eat lot of omega3, like fat fishes.

I’m a bit behind. I don’t think it is ever explained why SJ hit the accelerator and not the brake. Is this ever explained in a later episode?

Hyun Chae talking to the killer guy, she is asking for trouble. I think this is the reason she died in the accident.
There is a problem here for SJ: I was elsewhere in spacetime and teleported where the accident happens. So he hardly know what happens.
I don’t remember we get any transition info between the time he was with DG then disintegrate, then change of place because time change, and find himself in the car accident.

SJ from present day is our key to understand a bit what happens here. Damn, this drama is quite complicated. It’s really a good pick for challenging watching.
The camera keeps making small shifts here and there, it is making me dizzy watching the drama.

I have to admit.I am somewhat lost in the time lines. I do not understand how The policeman’s comment about s j’s delusion being that his daughter and wife died fit into the time lines.
The anti depressant he is on is a treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder.But it is not a tranquillizer.
DG helps SJ. So he switchs from villain to… what exactly? Well, he want to save the wife. But I don’t get their relationship now, I mean between SJ and DG in present time. Why SJ doesn’t remember more?
Oooh shit… The time change made that present SJ forgot the time travel… Now we know what happens (pfooo, it was time!). Awesome plot.
@WE to complicate matters further, Hyun Chae jumps into the fray! She’s trying to get info about where the envelop with the recording is.

Hey hey hey… I will like the scene, I feel it.
My heart always sinks when a kdrama character is accused of a serious crime because of a misunderstanding or setup. I am watching this scene where the police are talking with s j as he wakes up.
SJ is getting the truth about the building collapse. He tries to find the police in charge of the investigation, but the investigator is Chairman Yu’s man.
The first time I did not understand either how SJ could outrun the policeman. But the elevator makes it plausible, though only just. SJ ditches the doctor jacket too, which makes him less visible in the dark.
@WE HC gets booted out by Mum heheheh!

It’s one of the archetypes I always like in kdramas.
@SD, there was nothing wrong with this running scene. If you watch the Halloween saga, you see the main villain just walking and the victims running, but no matters what, the villain always catch them. LOL!!!!
Now we find out that Mum actually met the father of Kim Seo Jin and got the recording from him. It proves that he would never commit suicide, he was out to expose the evil Yu.
@WE, SJ from this timeline, had just called the past Ae Ri once, just after the accident, while still in the car. He asks for her help. He will start to remember as his memories from the very first timeline merge with the present one.
I too find it difficult to remember what SJ knows and when. Only Ae Ri has the full picture of the past.
@FF This drama seems to have conflated anti depressants and tranquilizers. Antidepressants are not a drug to pop when you are feeling anxious which he Did? seem to be Doing earlier in the drama. Anti depressants can make people sleepy though. I wonder how the drug was administered to the wife.And daughter. Maybe she did it herself as part of the plot to kill him? It is not making sense to me but hopefully it will.
I am not yet at the running policeman part!
I realized in this episode that SJ was in a coma for 9 days. HC suggests (in the early time frame) that they go for the drive on October 9th. SJ wakes up (or leaves the hospital anyway) on October 18th. It is no wonder he is a little hazy on details!
OOOhhh SJ remembers the accident now.

@MM, all 3 did not take any drugs or meds. They were injected with the drug after the accident.
So, it’s Lee. He changed HC plan. It was an order from the CEO ? Anyway, he jabs SJ with the drug. Infamous. He gets rid of HC, as he couldn’t stand more her arrogance. Then… ultimate horror, he kills the girl too. What a son of bitch!!!!
@WE chairman Yu gave the order to kill Hyun Chae.
Seo and SJ are now allies. It’s beautiful. But it’s above a carpet of dirty secrets. LOL.

@GB, you remember when you are angry about dramas that makes audience intelligence a joke? Then I think this drama is exact opposite. 😀
@MM, yes I remember SJ popping pills when he feels anxious. Those should be pills to help relax the nerves when one has a panic attack, unlikely to be anti-depressants. The drama can be misleading.

They do show the accident in this episode. I missed it the first time (or forgot-lol) but SJ hits the gas to get out of the way of the truck. The way the car rolls does not quite make sense, but hitting the gas does.
@WE, this drama does require a lot of the viewer! The time threads are SO complicated!
@FF yes, AR dies again!!! What a show for killing off main protagonists and resurrecting them again!

I am confusing myself. I was confused about the Way the accident happened. I had thought it was a T bone collision at an intersection.
But Then I remembered that was the accident in the first episode of I hear your voice which I watched last night. So I am really not as confused as I thought I was.
@MM, you’re rewatching I Hear Your Voice? I only rewatched part of the first episode. Yes, that will be our next show to rewatch.
@WE, I had forgotten that SJ was just pretending to have lost his memory. So much to remember from episode to episode especially since even within an episode nothing is linear. In this episode we not only have the time switching from the past (in September) to the new present (in October), all in 2020. We also have two flashbacks to 2001. AND, Ae Ri’s memories of other timelines in that voiceover. Very complicated.

This episode has been a marathon for me. I
Thought it was ending with the scene of the three men in the deserted parking field. But no, now it’s 62 hours earlier.And I guess this is when ae ri gets killed again.
It is a relief to see all the different plot lines coming together though. And the expression of incredulence on ABY s face Was fun to watch.
@GB I wanted to watch a korean drama because i’ve been watching so many chinese ones. So I started , I hear your voice to see if my korean has improved any since I started my beginner lessons.
Now I am confused all over again. How does SJ from what I thought?Was one time line show up To see ae ri’s dead body?
The writer is so smart that we need a team of intelligent watchers to understand her shows! And even that is a challenge!

Shin Goo is such an exellent actor. I have seen him play the sweetest grandfather character as well, in “Thank you”

@FF I was getting carsick watching the shaky camera work. It would be interesting to observe which particular scenes have shaky camera work but that would be for another rewatch and probably an overly detailed analysis.
