Pet Peeve #19
When I first began to watch kdramas, I thought piggy backs were the rudest kind of carry.
A few years later and with dozens of kdramas under my belt, I’ve toned down my opposition to the piggy back. I now think it’s the second rudest kind of carry (I’ll tell you in a bit the rudest way to carry the girl…) and it’s one of my pet peeves in kdramas.
Damnit! I’m not a sack of potatoes so my man shouldn’t have to carry me like I’d crush him with my weight.
Second, I don’t mind sitting astride on a horse… but my man is a stud, not a steed. Having my legs spread open like that, with my crotch bumping against his back…I’d feel indecent.
Last, it’s ridiculous that in this day and age, I can’t find an uber to bring me home when I’m drunk.
Unless a pack of flying monkeys appears out of the blue, and my only chance of survival is to piggyback on a man while he tasers them all, I’d rather take a cab home than ride on his back.
Random drunk girl hails a cab jumps on human rickshaw. lol.
I accept no compromise. The only carry I consider romantic is the bridal carry.

Preferably with a swirl at the end. Wheeeeee!
That’s why I like ChiWon in Jugglers. He carried YoonYi like she weighed nothing more than a feather.
It helps thought that he looks like a giant when beside YY. 🙂
Okay…what’s the worst and rudest carry of all?
The Estonian carry. (lol, any Estonian lurker around here?)
It’s when the man piggybacks a girl UPSIDE DOWN. Like this:

Hell no!
That Estonian Carry 😳😳😳
Looks uncomfortable!!! Shirooooo.. 🙅🏼♀️🙅🏼♀️🙅🏼♀️
Agree with piggybacks Is not even Romantic. For me it feels more like parental, maternal or whatever family vibe than romantic.
