I haven’t forgotten the Best Kdrama Boyfriend Awards. 😇🏆

I’m still waiting for a certain romcom to end this week (cough. cough. Jugglers.) before announcing my first awardee.

The first awardee recipient should be extra special. To set the bar for the succeeding BKBs, he should be the greatest kdrama boyfriend to ever NOT exist in our real world. 😂 He should be that guy that we, smart bitches — but hopelessly romantic bitches — can daydream about whenever single life or student life or work life becomes dreary. If we’re going to indulge in fantasies, we might as well go after the an ultimate dreamboat. Right?

Honestly, I was tempted to name HanCheon from The King Loves as my first BKB of the week (thanks, lovebangwon!) but I didn’t want a tortured hero from a torturous love story to cast a gloomy shadow on future BKB winners.

So, I’m doing my due diligence and waiting to see that my pick for the first Best Kdrama Boyfriend of the week doesn’t turn out to be a mad killer or a serial rapist (lol) at the end of the romcom.
