Global We Got Married: My Favorite Guigui

It’s been years since I watched that first season of “We Got Married Global,” starring Ok Taecyeon and Guigui so I was delighted to see this picture of Guigui on my tumblr feed.

Awwwww… she’s still as cute as ever, my Guigui.

If ever you’re going to watch just one — just ONE — “We Got Married” program, I recommend watching hers and Taecyeon’s show. Their segment is, hands-down, funnier and sweeter than many of the romcom I’ve watched lately.

Plus, the show completely changed my perception of Taecyeon for the better. Due to her bubbly, unpretentious, and 4-D personality (see how much I like her??) and HIS nonplussed but kind reaction to her misadventures, she made him look like a decent and likable guy.

Wishing her all the best in life!

  1. WGM was the best thing to ever happy to 2PM haha
Nickchun, Taec, Wooyoung all wooed my hearts on WGM.

I think she’s married now isn’t she? Totally waiting for Taec to get out of the military. I’m hoping he gets better acting roles through his new agency and I totes know the military will make him even hotter (something about his big ears are really endearing lolz)

  2. What?? She’s married already?? For real?
    But…but…but… I didn’t get any invitation?
    (hahaha)

I watched part of Nickchun’s WGM with Victoria. I thought they were cute, too, but their fans…. goodness! Those fangirls should be neutered. They shouldn’t be allowed to spawn and spread their genetic infantilism.

I remember their trip to Thailand, when his grandmother was side-eyeing the way he was feeding her/cutting up her food/being lovey-dovey at the dinner table. lol. That would be like me.

Then, WooYoung… I forgot the girl already. I remembered the humongous stuff toy he bought her on their first day. But that’s about it.

I liked Victoria, too, especially when she prepared a five-course meal for him. I thought that was chill of her to go through all that hassle for one episode. Especially frying the fish (like, who fries fish in a small condo? I bet the neighbors, not to mention her roommates, complained about the fishy smell. sticking to their clothes and walls.)

Yes, I’m looking forward to Taec’s end of active service. I’m proud of him. No muss, no fuss.

  3. The Wooyoung one ended up being really good! They are awkward with each other at first but when they get comfortable with each other it’s TOTAL sweetness and I had to question their acting skills haha. It’s hilarious because all she does is feed him spicy foods and just watching that was TV gold haha

  4. Is he the one who made a bench for them as a souvenir or keepsake?
I can’t remember the girl’s face, to be honest with you. Was she a tomboy? I seem to recall a couple with the wife being stronger and more athletic than the husband. It frustrated the husband because he wanted to show off his masculine side.

But you know which 2PM marriage I disliked on sight? It’s the one with the 2PM maknae (what’s his name??!!) and that Chinese noona. IIRC she had fake boobs — or plastic surgery done on her face???🤣 They looked awkward.
