What are you all watching? Anything new for December? I’m looking forward to watching the following:
Monday/Tuesday
-Clean With a Passion for Now
Will check it out for now. But I’m not sure I’m up to another kdrama with neurotic characters….
-Mama Fairy and the Woodcutter
I’ll still pop in occasionally for updates. I would have enjoyed watching this kdrama if it weren’t for the supercilious fans of the cartoon. Will somebody please tell these little know-it-alls to sit down and shut the hell up?
Everyone and their dog already knows that the Fairy’s husband is the juvenile youngster IN THAT DARN CARTOON. But why can’t the viewers still enjoy the screenwriter’s attempts to re-write the original plot? It’s called “artistic license”. The screenwriter has the right to reinterpret the original comics in the way he/she wants.
Right now, these cartoon fangirls are pestering threads and discussions with their presence. There’s little difference between their behavior and the behavior of an older sister who tells her younger sibling that Santa Claus isn’t real.
Wednesday/Thursday
-Fluttering Alert
You are what you eat, and we ate a whole lot of butterflies. Why else would our hearts flutter just watching this?
lol. We all understood the message from the images here, right? Right?
She was lying on her belly and he was lying on his back. If you put the two images together, she’d be sleeping on top of him. They slept peacefully through the night until morning because she was safe in his arms and he kept her there.
Kinda like this puppy and owner. Do you see it? 😀
-Boyfriend
Despite the stunning visuals of this kdrama and my open partiality for Park BoGum, this is dead in the water. The premise of the story seems to be rich noona finds herself a boy toy.
Friday/Saturday/Sunday
-Memories of the Alhambra
Looks interesting and it’s on Netflix. (hooray!)
There’s a book called “Tales of the Alhambra” written in the 19th century by Washington Irving. It recounts the folklore and legends of the palace and town. Irving is famous for “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow” (the story of a Headless Horseman) and “Rip Van Winkle” (the story of a man who took a nap and woke up decades later). I want to see where this screenwriter (the same writer who did “W”) will go with this.
-Top Star, Yoo Baek
This still made me laugh. The actor isn’t my cup of tea (I like guys with a bit lot more chest hair, lol) but I want to know where his shirt went. Inquiring minds what to know….

So what are you all planning to watch this December?
I will try to catch Bok Soo’s Back (the title keeps changing…I noticed it’s morphed into My Strange Hero now 😳) with Yoo SeungHo and Jo BoAh. Mon-Tue slot replacing Man with the Bionic Arm. Premieres 10Dec. Looks cutsie and seems like a straightforward enough story to take me through Christmas and New Year. I thought about Clean With a Passion Now coz I like Kim YooJung but the story isn’t appealing to me.
“This still made me laugh. The actor isn’t my cup of tea (I like guys with a bit lot more chest hair, lol) but I want to know where his shirt went. Inquiring minds what to know….”
Ditto (Maybe not the chest hair). Who even dresses like that? Skip the shirt and just pull on the suit whilst contemplating my day over a coffee. O yes, we mustn’t forget the accessories…the watch is essential…but not the shirt. 😂
Yes! Thank you!!!
I knew there was a Yoo SeungHo kdrama coming up but I couldn’t find it. I’ll check it out bec I like the guy. I’m picky with his leading ladies and so far, I haven’t found one that matches him…visually or talent-wise.
😅 I know I’m a judgmental, critical, soul-sucking stage mother-in-law.
😂🤣😂
Put a bow tie on him and he’ll look like one of those striptease male dancers.
The actor studied in England for middle school and high school. He’s not chaebol wealthy but IIRC his family didn’t approve of his career choice. He persisted and played secondary roles for awhile.
The actress here is from Running Man. I quit watching RM a long time ago and started watching 2 days, 1 Night instead. But I caught a couple of new RM episodes and she looked like a fearless space cadet. It must be tough being under Song Jihyo’s limelight.
Anyway, I’ll give the show a try because of the actors. I feel sorry for them. 😁
I loved the first 2 eps of Top Star Yoo Baek so far! This and Fluttering Alert. No other kdramas has caught my attention, so I guess my plate isn’t really that full.
I will definitely watch Bok Soo’s Back per @nrllee 🙂 I love Yeo SeungHo! I didn’t mind him with Chae Soo Bin in I am Not a Robot. I don’t mind Jo BoAh too 🙂
I will watch Memories of Alhambra too because it is on Netflix. Why can’t they put every kdrama there? 😀
There’s only a few Leading Ladies that I like so I’m picky on what I watch. I will skip Gummy’s new one even though I like him a lot mainly because SHK is married.
So far I have 2 only 🙂
Ahh those butterflies, I love it and I want more!!!
“Put a bow tie on him and he’ll look like one of those striptease male dancers.”
My thoughts exactly 😂.
Finished the two episodes!! 👍🙂
The first episode is more expository; it explained why he was sent to “temporary exile” and it showed the audience the stark difference between the two scenes, the city scene and the island scene. That’s why the first episode appears slow. The pacing perks up though in the second episode especially after she took him back in.
This show reminds me of the 2D1N variety program in the way the director chose to showcase the island. I just fell in love with it, too.
Don’t forget the rings and bracelet! Yoo Seung Ho’s drama and Fluttering Alert!
Oh yeahhh! He was wearing a bracelet, too. Eeew!
I think I’ll have problems with this show bec I like the second lead already.
