1 – It was all part of the plan. The basketball game was the last game of Master Xiao Nai so what better way to announce to the world that he’s graduating college by still winning that basketball game AND that he has a girlfriend! Love it! 🥰

You know what I liked about it, too? The way Yang Yang/Xiao Nai sauntered down that court to get to her. He knew that eyes were on him as he sashayed over to Weiwei.

She’s scared to be seen with him so he helped her tough it out. He endured the scrutiny with her.

2 – I would have loved for Xiao Nai to introduce her as his girlfriend to the boys but I felt he gave way for the boys to get over their teasing of him (except that comment about doing suspicious things) of finally having a girlfriend. I love that he allowed WeiWei to answer whether she wants to go or not to the dinner.

Do you remember that he introduced WeiWei as his girlfriend to that man in campus while they were running. He called him Uncle.

When I attend my husband’s events, it warms the cockles of my heart to hear him introduce me as his “wife.” Of course, people know that I’m his wife (lol) but, even after all these decades, I still like that public declaration that I’m WITH him, and he’s proud of it.

Anyway, Nai doesn’t have to say anything because it’s obvious from the way he tolerates the jabs directed at him, that he’s proud to have her with him. He’s trying to look cool – with his hands in his pocket – but his smile is a giveaway.

3 – YEEEEESSSSS! That wrist grab was not rough at all. It was still gentle even for that second pull! I’d melt every time if I’m WeiWei and he gives me that look. 😍

I like that wrist grab! I don’t care what others say.

That’s the first time he touched her all day. And it’s their “Coming Out” Day. I would have expected a kiss if I were the girlfriend.

Really. It would have been weird if he didn’t at least attempt to detain her. A boyfriend shouldn’t be too casual with his girl’s leave-taking. He should want her to linger a little bit longer with him.

4 – I don’t usually ask when was the first kiss to my friends but I’m like WeiWei, I’d answer right from when the love story started and get to the kiss at some point if it happened already. LOL.

I’m nosy with my girlfriends. I demand details, details, and more details.

5 – That smug-ness is sooooo handsome!

I know, right? And lethal, too.

I’m going to put a gif of cutie “Stop Girl” to tell him to…err…stop it. You’re killing me!

6 – I couldn’t agree more that CS guys are dreamy. He’s always got her back and does not let anyone hurt her and it is true that it was a ranking on baseless data.

And he didn’t even mess around.

7 – That ‘since when aren’t we in that kind of relationship?’ was the equivalent of ‘you had me at hello’.

Or if you were an oldie, you’d say, “You had me at 07734.” That’s “hello” in pager code.

8 – So true, it was the inner beauty/talent that attracted them both to each other in the first place, second is the outside beauty.

He was impressed at the way she maneuvered to kill people online. lol. But during her that mini-get-together with her online clan in Episode 22, the other guys were also mesmerized at her APM (actions per minute) and her MPM (moves per minute).

9 – I liked that he seconded WeiWei in saying that we’re family. He wanted to impress the girls and he really is intimidating anyway. I feel that because he is Lord Xiao Nai that the girls are all watching his every move, making sure that WeiWei is in good hands. But in saying that, it was sweet of him to be there because Erxi was released that day from the hospital. Points to him already!

I agree. He earned brownie points for picking them up without being told to do so. I like guys who take the initiative.

But could he please stop waiting at the door like that? He scared the bejeesus out of me, standing there, looking like an ax murderer.

Was he unhappy that SHE didn’t call him and asked for his help? That he had to find out from a friend that the girls stayed in the hospital?

10 – That was the first time he dropped her off by car. I wouldn’t kiss him if i were WeiWei too. hehehe

I don’t know about you but if I were a fictional character, 20 years old, and female (Nai looks like that type to punch a guy if a guy tried this on him), I’d definitely kiss him.

And I’d be thankful every minute I was with him. So if I were to create my OWN algorithm for affection levels (hahaha) that would mean he’d get a kiss per minute (KPM). hahaha.

11 – Yes, she needed to tell someone where she’s going on their first date but we can let it go because they’ve been married for a few months already. 😉
