My go to blog when I want information on filming location sites is flyhoneystars.com. (No, I’m not paid to advertise her site.) She does a thorough job of researching the sites in a timely manner.

What’s the difference between rowing and sculling? Rowing uses only one oar; sculling two oars. Lee Gon is indeed rowing. He’s called a “sweep rower.” Now, he’s rower Number 8 or the “stroke.” The stroker is the best rower. He must have the best technique because he leads his crew by setting the rhythm and the number of strokes per minute (lol. The math side is still there.) His crew behind him follow his strokes. The stroke must also be very competitive.
Go Lee Gon! He’s the #8 of the 88th class.

@Phoenix,
Maximus has an instagram?? https://www.instagram.com/horse_masters/
This bamboo grove is in Busan.
Also in Busan.
Now, I know this one. The US Embassy in on the left hand (horse’s ass) side.
This is Saseongam Hermitage.
Paradise City Hotel, Incheon.
Should I reserve a room here for my next business trip? It’s in Incheon so it’ll be close to the airport but far from the US Embassy.
According to flyhoneystars:
This is a 5-star luxurious hotel (which has a casino too) and it is located very near to Incheon International Airport. The room that Lee Minho stays in is the Deluxe Pool Villa (I compared the windows and lightings in the room). It is not the most premium room in the hotel. There’s an even more premium room called the Grande Deluxe Pool. Price of the premium rooms are not available online and you have to email them to enquiry. Maybe some brave fan can do it and let me know the price?
Small museum in Jeonjju.
Official Website: (Korean) http://www.eojinmuseum.org
I like Korean museums. They make sure that each exhibit has lots of information (sometimes too much, if you’re a slow reader). On my last couple of business trips, I scheduled a museum tour with a docent or an art student to show me the highlights. That way I could maximize the couple of free hours I had.
In Busan, again.
What’s the difference between Seoul men and Busan men? I read that Busan men have a more “Mediterranean” feel (i.e., assertive, voluble, blunt) as opposed to the Seoul men who are colder and more chic.

Hmmmm….I think Lee Gon is more a Seoul man than a Busan man. Don’t you agree?
TaeEul’s house. flyhoneystars said that the coffee shop was only constructed for the film. Shucks!
See? It looks kinda dingy in daylight.
This is the chicken place in Seoul. It’s beside that famous stream, Cheonggyecheon-ro, in downtown Seoul. The nearby tourist area Insadong is fun to visit, too. I know they say it’s a “tourist trap” but hey…when I’m a tourist, I’m a tourist! With my blonde hair, who am I kidding? I don’t know how to haggle the price anyway.
Flyhoneystars said it was the same place featured in “Goblin.”
But then BBQ chicken has been promoting itself a lot in kdramas. Remember this?
From “Crash Landing on You.”
These were from Daegu.
Jungri sports park in Daegu.
This is also in Daegu.
Hmph. Here we go again with Catholic churches. Why do these directors and writers always use a Catholic church?
Just a general map for orientation.
One last thing. Bed and beddings courtesy of Crowned Goose
I find it interesting that the glass case had been missing its sword for 25 years. Why didn’t he just store it somewhere else so it wasn’t occupying space for no good reason for a quarter of a century? Oh well…
