After “Love Lasts Forever,” many of us here are searching for more doramas to binge on to get over Nanase and Tendo.
So here comes @Table122000 aka Supergirl with her dorama recommendations.
That’s our @Table12000…she’s building a bridge between our kdrama obsession and our newly-discovered world of doramas.
I don’t know how the links will show up. Just please copy and paste them.
Thanks, @Table122000.

Arigatou! 🙇🏻♀️
Have I told you that whenever you call me “Queen,” inside my head, the words start playing:
Mama, just killed a man
Put a gun against his head, pulled my trigger, now he’s dead
Mama, life had just begun!
But now I’ve gone and thrown it all away
Mama, oooooooh
Didn’t mean to make you cry
If I’m not back again this time tomorrow
Carry onnnn
Carry onnnnn
As if nothing really matters
lol.
😂 Should I state it better? Queen B? 🤣 Or wait is that for Beyoncé? 🤔
Oh my 5 year old niece sings to that tune but puts her own lyrics to it. So funny, cracks us up every time. 😁
They were good Jdrama indeed.
Yes, I heard that Beyonce is called Queen B.
How about BBQ? You can think of me as barbecue.
Because I like to grill people and roast dramas. lol.
Have a good week!
Grill people and roast dramas! That is you! 😂
How about Best Bitch Queen? 😉
Right! BBQ then! 😜😂 But I’d get hungry every time I’d call you that. 😭
Enjoy the holidays! 😴
Thanks for making this Reference Post for J Dramas, @pm3. I’m honored. I forgot to add another really cool J Drama to recommend, so I’m putting it here: Pin To Kona.
The plot of Pin to Kona is a pretty standard youth drama with some romance, but what makes it really interesting is the setting: the world of Kabuki Theatre. The ML is a Kabuki actor in training and comes from a Kabuki acting family. The drama talks about the training methods and also explores various classic Kabuki dramas. I found it fascinating. Here is the link for anyone who’s interested:
Pin To Kona:

The translator put a lot of notes into the drama, so be prepared to pause so you can read all the information if you find it interesting.
@pm3- Your Queen reference reminded me that the theme song for Pride is “Born To Love You” by Queen.
I’ll be interested to hear everyone’s thoughts about the Japanese dramas and I look forward to other people’s recs.
P.S. Asian Crush Link for A Girl and Three Sweethearts isn’t showing for some reason, so Here it is again:
https://www.asiancrush.com/series/033502s/a-girl-and-three-sweethearts/
Speaking of Queen, jdrama Pride’s main them is “I Was Born To Love You” by Queen 🙂
I have Asian Crush and Amazon Prime. if I add any more streaming services, I’ll never sleep. So much content and I’m still working my way through the K Drama classics and moview like The Handmaiden and Old Boy. It’s interesting to see that so many actors in Korea either do movies or dramas, and many do not overlap. Now that I’m watching movies, there are so many new actors to discover.
I am also envious of all of you who have come to any Asian dramas, mivies early on. You have been able to enjoy so many riches. I’m old enough to hope that I get lots morevyears to explore without fear of dementia.
Dear Ladies, how have you been?, I missed you a lot.
At this moment there is no Drama that piques my interest.
Lately I saw “Peanut Butter Sandwiches” (J-Drama) and it was sad to see an oh-so-interesting idea going to waste.
I also saw “It’s 100% about looks” (or something like that – another J-Drama) and I stopped at the episode before the last one seeing the three main ladies drowning in a glass of water -as in making a lot of fuss over the most inane problems-.
I tried starting “Let´s dine together” (K-Drama) but did not like the vapid female lead character.
Hope to be reunited soon with you again in another viewing,

Just finished the J Drama Watashitachi wa Douka Shiteiru/Cursed In Love. What a ride! It’s not a light rom-com, but a darker romantic suspense drama. The FL is a wagashi artisan whose mother was framed and wrongfully convicted of murder. The FL goes undercover to find out the truth of what happened and to clear her mother’s name. The ML is the witness who saw the mother in the murder victim’s room, aand also the childhood friend of the FL. The setting is very interesting: the world of traditional Japanese sweets/confectionery. I tell you those candies were works of art! I love all things sugar so learning all about that industry was fascinating and I wanted to try the different sweets myself. Alas, there no Japanese sweets shops where I live. If you like mysteries with your romance, definitely check this drama out.
Anyway, you can watch all 8 episodes of Watashitachi wa Douka Shiteiru at Blitz Fan Subs.
