Thanks for putting this up so promptly @pkml3. I will watch Ep 12 first before saying too much here. It’s been fun. I’d like to have more of other shows like this, (ie does not have to be Zombie Detective 2, but anything) which do not take themselves too seriously and don’t mind laughing at themselves. Yes, please juseyo, kdramaland and producers!

🙂
I read Fern’s message last night but I couldn’t do anything; was at a party celebrating a colleague’s job promotion.
I checked Kissasian. Ep 12 isn’t up yet. Will wait till both are up so I can watch in one go.
I can’t imagine kissing a zombie 🧟♂️ so I’m fine without the typical romantic ending.
@pkml3 Show gives us a parallel, worst possible situation with human-zombie coupledom, in the insane vet and his ‘wife’. It was uncomfortable watching him being so attached to his ‘wife’, so much so that he wouldn’t let her rest in peace. So while our Zombie and Sunji, are not in that kind of horrid situation, there’s a subtle warning that if they want to be together forever, it could mean devolving to the human being ‘mad’ and taking care of the appetite of the zombie partner.
I’m perfectly happy with them remaining trusted pals, where he continues to call her ‘dung’ and she responds LOL.
Of course the happier scenario is if he can regain more of ‘the being human’, and continue as a great detective, but we are also left in Ep 11 with the question of whether it will be better for one who was once dead, to rest in peace. Anyway, the feels in Ep 11 were a bit weird for me, therefore I want to watch Ep 12 first and then see how the ending goes with both episodes taken together.
I’m agreeing with all the “juseyo”s :))
I agree with no kissing this time too, just the idea of it for some next time is fine. Since it’s a zombie we’re talking about.
Thanks for writing about this, packmule. It was a lot of fun watching it so far (11 episodes out of the 12).
It was an appropriate, and therefore, a happy ending.
o (^‿^✿)
Thank you, @packmule3. I’ll watch 12 tonight. Nothing else to say right now except I’m quite fond of Lee Sung Rock’s shirt in Ep. 11 as well as all of the horror film tropes, the tracking app and the list of all non-human creatures delivered with a straight face by Wang Wei.
I checked so many times to see if the subs for episode 12 came up. Finally, and well before midnight.
@GB, I’ll second your opinion on the ending. It doesn’t get much better. And it left the possibility of a second season. Juseyo.
I still wonder what happened to Poong Shik’s daughter. Could she really have been eaten by her mother? And what about the title of Episode 11? Was there something I missed about the two Kim’s?
Hodu was finally allowed in the house. 🤪🐕
True appreciation of the script writer, the director, actors and crew for delivering so much entertainment.
@packmule3, do you recall the US tv show Moonlighting? There are a few similarities and it was also innovative at the time. (I didn’t watch most of it, not owning a tv for part of that time. 😊)
Stand By Your Man playing in the background when Seong-ji asks Zombie why he kept the money she gave him 2 1/2 years ago. He pretends not to know that it was her. Then scolds her for interacting with strangers. 😂
Just a couple of months ago I commented on a thread here about being annoyed with fangirls demanding a Season 2 even when the main character is dead.
I spoke too soon!😃
Season 2, please!

Hey there @Snow Flower!! Great to see you and thanks for the link to your music.
Applause!!
Thanks for this @snow_flower!!!
Great stuff, @Snow Flower. Sort of the Silent Film treatment full of humour as well as darkness. I miss ZD.
