I wonder how many people were involved in filming this. Without counting the actors, at least 10, I should say. There’s the director, assistant director, the director for photography, and his assistant, the gaffer who’s in charge of lighting, the grip who’s in charge of the tripods and cranes for the camera, the sound engineer (especially because we need to hear all the moaning and sighing), and the boom operator who’s holding the mic. There’s the make-up artists for both actors.
Also with this covid, I’m sure the crew were required to wear a mask. The actors might be asked to spray their faces with some sort of disinfectant to kill the virus, then gargle with mouthwash after the kiss. Temperatures would have to be monitored. There might be a covid-protocol person on set, too.
The thought of what’s involved in filming this scene ruins the passionate kiss for me. Must focus on the kiss alone.

So much for simulated intimacy. And just hope that the actors didn’t have kimchi breath. The mouthwash probably took care of that because it would be used before and after the scene. Apparently there have been small studies that have not been peer reviewed that say mouthwash kills the virus. Anyway, the actors looked good in that kissing scene. They looked “earthy.” I wondered about it because the hero was supposedly a deity and an animal at the same time. Would his divine or bestial side come out? Would he feast on her or devour her? Would he relish or ravage her? 😂😂😂 And so on.
@packmule3 Yes, divinity or bestiality – which side of Lee Yeon will show up in such a situation..interesting thought indeed🤔🤔 I hadnt realized before this scene that Lee Dong Wook had muscles at all, and I suddenly found myself noticing his biceps🧐🧐🧐 Looked very Jerry Yan like to me..was comparing them purely for the sake of analysis 🤓
@Phoenix and @packmule3, Perhaps Lee Yeon would prefer nibbling to wolfing down our heroine. He does comport himself in a gentlemanly manner and is all sartorial splendor. He is literally and figuratively foxy. Given his canine ancestry, one would think he would leave a mark on her to demarcate his territory. Unlike that Imugi snake, Lee Yeon would probably leave the aforementioned hickey as opposed to the unsightly green scales. Word is kimchi protects against SARS & Covid. I suspect they bathed and ingested kimchi before this scene as a precautionary measure. Just imagine them rubbing spicy, fermented napa all over their bodies. The crew did a good job of not leaving stains on those white sheets 🤣😂🤣

@packmule3 and all of us Shallow Islanders, to honor the hard work and dedication of the actors and crew risking their lives to bring us a modicum of happiness during these harrowing times, I say enjoy every nanosecond of the love scenes they have so selflessly given us. We need them badly. they help us to endure. And I was thinking that instead of thinking of these kisses in morbid terms, I would like to now view them as the jaws of life to us all. They are rescuing us from the burning vehicle that is COVID-19 and giving us hope for another day.
