@agdr03 I’m glad to see you back on the thread. I’ve been keeping you in my prayers too and will continue to do so. Infections are no joke. We think we get over them, but they linger and sometimes rebound in another way. Good that your Covid test is still negative. I heard of a case where it was ok for the first 2, but the 3rd test came back positive! Take care and rest well!

I keep you in my prayers that it’s not COVID, @adgr03. I am dealing with that now and it is not fun. My uncle tested positive and our entire family was exposed to him at Christmas. We tried to keep 6 feet apart but I got sick Jan. 2, followed by my mother and grandmother. Just got the test results back today-everyone has COVID. I’m isolating myself and my brother is doing what he can for our 95 yr old grandmother. Very worried about him and also my mother as she has several immune issues. The only one not sick is my aunt and my brother, although the stress is not good for them. This COVID is awful! My uncle has refused to wear a mask since the pandemic started-here we are. Please wear masks and social distance everyone!

@table122000, I’m so sorry to hear that your family has contracted COVID. As the months have passed, the stories are really getting closer to home, affecting people we personally know like friends and relatives, even immediate family. We lost an elderly aunt who cannot be accommodated in a Covid hospital due to over-capacity. We are monitoring another auntie quarantining and an uncle, who has been hospitalized, also COVID related. It’s sad and heartbreaking.
All we can do is stay home, wear masks, social distance and pray. May we find relief with a wider vaccine deployment soon. Will include your family in our prayers. 🙏🙏🙏

Many people I know tested positive and recovered just like a normal flu, so it’s not serious unless someone has an underlying existing health issue causing low immunity. Hope your family recovers quickly too. Keeping you and your loved ones in my prayers.

Oh dear @Table122000 😔 I’m including you and your whole family in my prayers especially for your Mom and 95 year old Grandma. 🙏🙏🙏 Mine is 98 and yeah we’ve been protecting her like gladiators almost ever since covid came. We almost had a family fight because my Uncle with his family wanted to take her out on Christmas Day and we’re like NO. It was mostly his son that’s so persistent. He even made another cousin try to pick up Grandma. 😏
I had the symptoms but my two tests came out negative and now my doctor is looking at my liver.
Take care ok and know that it will pass. Sending you lots of hugs and strength especially to your brother. 🤗🙏

@agdr03 has your doctor ordered an x-ray of your head? One time when I was very sick and had a dry cough, it turned out I had an impacted sinus infection. Some of the sinus chambers were so filled with gunk they couldn’t drain, yet I didn’t know about it because I could still breathe through my nose. Fortunately, I responded to strong medicine and didn’t require surgery to clear out all the crud.

@Welmaris when I first read this sentence, I half thought it was a derogatory comment about poor @agdr03’S mental faculties. 😂. Just goes to show you have to read everything in context. I continued to the rest of the paragraph and it shed light on the real intent of that statement.
Thank you @Welmaris. I am wondering where my cough is coming from after the body aches and fever but my doctor didn’t order an X-ray on my head. I really have the covid symptoms but my tests are negative so my doctor said it’s another virus. I’ll keep in mind what you said though because I still have the cough. I am much better though and much better that I had a molar extraction done last Wednesday 😭 I tell you I’ve had battles these last couple of weeks. ☹️
My doctor did say I’m a worrier and to have confidence but I said to him this is the first time I’ve been very sick and it’s unusual for me.
@nrllee , sometimes I wonder about my mental faculties too 😂
@agdr03 So good to know you are feeling better!😊 Don’t be a worrier..I’m one too and I get stressed when I am sick at home alone. But I recently got my brain MRI done for my chronic migraines and it came out absolutely normal, which means I was more anxious than I should have been🙈🙈. I hope you feel completely okay soon..sending you lots of hugs🤗🤗
@agdr03 OK will target my prayer to reduce the cough. I used to have coughs that last for weeks… my husband used to always end off flu with a 100 day’s cough!!! Yes 3 months of horrid coughing, especially at night when one wants to sleep. And at that time, there was no Covid even. So yes, it could be another infection.
@Phoenix, glad to know you had nothing worse than being overly worried. I’d have been too, if I thought the pain meant something was seriously wrong.
Now my son is having a bit of itch in the throat and tires me out with constant one note coughs every few seconds!!! He’s gone to bed and I hope he recovers on his own, the way these youngsters usually do.

Oh dear 100 days of cough after the flu? You’re poor hubby and you for hearing it and not being able to have a good sleep. I think my husband would want to sleep in another room if it lasts that long. ☹️
