@Agdr03, are you here?
I’m opening this thread for you (and for others who want to join in). This cdrama has Lin Yi (“Put Your Head on My Shoulder”) in it.

Warning: I’m not sure if he’ll get the girl in the end because the dude from “Mr Honesty” is also in the cast. He’s a stronger actor than Lin Yi.
Re. “Love Script” (whoops, it’s NOT “Love SCENERY” but “Love Script”)
I’m waiting for Viki to sub the rest. I tried to watch it on mgtv.com but the subs were subpar. The hero lied to her about his illness and he got caught. So he’s been groveling for three? four? episodes. 😂😂 (Gosh. This cdrama might actually set a new world record in groveling.)
To be honest, I was getting tired of his mea culpas. In real life, if the girl can’t forgive him, I say he should cut his loses and move on.
I’m here! Thanks for this thread! 🙂 I’m not sure I’ll follow it through as it has 45 episodes. Loooooong!
So the groveling was for Love Script? I’m confused. LOL.
Yes, “Love Script” has the groveling. Not “Love Scenery.”
You might like the groveling. He had to beg a few people to find out her location and when he got there… 🥴 Still no luck.
I’m on episode 5 of TBG and it’s where the other guy (Mr Honesty) was introduced. It feels slow for me so I’m only watching it when I can. hehehe
Thank you.
Ooohhh I’m not sure if I’ll like the groveling for 4 episodes though. hahahhaha That’s tough.
Maybe we should compile a list of dramas with groveling?
The last drama I recall with a good groveling was that Thai lakorn. My Husband in Law. IIRC, two whole episodes of groveling plus… PLUS! a near-death experience for the girl. 😂 The writer was really tugging at our heartstrings. Nothing beats a deathbed apology and confession in dramas.
Queen, I have to go drive now. I’ll be back and update on this drama after I’ve watch a few more episodes.
It’s nice to be back on the blog! In case your sleeping already when I return, sweet dreams! 🙂
Safe driving! 🚗 I’m finishing up my review.
Thanks for this open thread for The Blessed Girl. I was interested in the drama because of the leads, but 40 episodes is really long commitment. Didn’t realize the ML from Mr. Honesty was in the cast as well, so bonus. I’ll wait for the comments/reviews on this drama from @adgr03 and others before deciding about whether it is worth it starting this drama.
FYI, for those interested, this drama is being subbed at several sites: WeTV, Viki, YouTube.
Love Script premise sounds interesting with them going back and forth between the present day and the historical periods. I am waiting for the Edited subs to finish at Viki before I start watching. Editing is going slowly over at Viki. I get it-Xiao Zhan’s new drama and the Go Go Squid sequel are both airing now and members of the editing team are working on those big dramas so little drama like Love Script is on the backburner, but it’s still disappointing.
I binge watched C Drama Always Have, Always Will. It’s a cute college campus romance drama. It’s 24 episodes of 30 minutes each, so it’s a quick watch. The pace is nice and not draggy. The story is nothing new but the 2 main leads performances keep it fresh for me. Check it out if you are looking for a cute, fluffy watch. All 24 episodes are available with English subtitles at Amazon Prime Video. Drama is also available with subs on YouTube, but they are still subbing. They are almost done though.
Thanks for the recommendation @Table122000. I’m still on episode 5 of The Blessed Girl. I’m continuing but I’m slow on it. It is long but the main characters maintains the story.
Thanks for your comments on The Blessed Girl, @agdr03. I’ve been hearing mixed reviews on this drama. I saw the trailer and it didn’t grab me right away, so I put this drama on the backburner. It sounds like this drama is not a “must watch now” for you either. I’ll wait to see people’s final reviews after the drama ends because I certainly don’t want to waste 40 hrs on a drama with an unsatisfying ending.
You are welcomefor the Always Have, Always Will recommendation. The storyline goes back and forth between the Leads high school days and their present college times. The FL stands up for herself, which is refreshing to see, although there are still the usual tropes and misunderstandings in this drama. However, there are a lot of funny and cute moments throughout the drama and it includes a mutual declaration of love scene, so I give it bonus points for that as so often in the Asian dramas only one person will “confess their love” or say “I love you” and the other person doesn’t say anything back, which really bothers me. Anyway, the actors’ performances kept things fresh for me here along with the drama’s fast pace. It’s not perfect for sure, but it’s good for those times when you need a light, breezy watch.
Forgot to say where to find the drama at Youtube. It’s available with subs at Fresh Drama YouTube Channel and also at Huashi TV Idol & Romance YT Channel. Also at Amazon Prime Video.
Thanks @Table122000, I’ll put it down on my list of cdramas to watch. It’s good if it only has 24 episodes. 🙂 I’m only watching TBG for now. I’m only episode 10 and yeah it’s dragging a bit. The FL will do the Ritual of Eternity and I don’t even know whether she’s practicing for it or not. LOL!
Anyway, I hope you and your family are all in good health now.
Hi @agdr03
Yes, we are all doing a lot better now. Thanks for thinking of us.
Hmmn…hope TBG will have a satisfying ending at least to justify your time commitment (looking at you, The Heiress!)
The short time commitment is definitely a plus for Always Have, Always Will. Since each episode is 30 min, it’s only a total of 12 hours-perfect!
Where can I find this “Always Have, Always Will”?

@Table122000, I read that the t-drama Someday Or One Day will have a Korean remake. It’ll be interesting. I’ll watch out for it. ☺️
I’m on episode 14 of TBG and it was great to see that FL was finally able to show that she really is the Goddess but at the same time, the ML gets informed that the Goddess will take over the FL – Linglong and so she will disappear. He is heartbroken so the story goes.
@agdr03- Yes,I saw the news that Someday or One Day will have a Korean remake. I started watching the Taiwan original and had to put it on pause, but I want to go back and finish the drama since everyone was raving about how good the script was for that drama, and also Alice Ke’s acting. I’m not sure I want to watch a remake though since a lot of the fun rests on the twists and turns of the script. I’ll have to think about it. I did hear that there might be a Korean remake of C Drama Golden Hairpin (which hasn’t aired yet) , and I am excited to check that out if the rumor is true. Otherwise, my most anticipated C Drama is Maybe It’s Love, which got posted to the Coming Soon at WeTV. I really enjoyed the original About Is Love and i’m excited for this sequel featuring all the same cast.
Glad you are still enjoying TBG. Keep us posted.
Thanks, Table122000. I checked it out last night; I’ve skimmed through the first 4 episodes. College romance with ?? (I’m not going to reveal the spoiler). I figured there was something up with the high school flashbacks — they were all hers. 😂
You are welcome, @packmule3. I hope that you enjoy Always Have, Always Will. You have to leave your brain at the door, but I found the drama very cute and funny. I laughed so hard when Fang Li is trying to steal the teacher’s wig!
Here’s the “Blessed Girl” thread, agdr03.
Thanks you! 🙇🏻♀️
I couldn’t find it on the list of threads. I’m on episode 21 and I’m finding the love line of Goddess’ father more interesting. 😁 I wonder who he’ll end up with. I’m on team Yin Zhuang. The story holds but yeah they can definitely make this drama way shorter.
Hi, I’ve recently discovered your blog and I’ve enjoyed reading your reviews and comments, though not everything yet. I’ve been skimming thru your blog for new cdrama recommendations.
I’ve also became recently obsessed with cdramas, with Love O2O as my kick starter which I just came across accidentally in YT after getting tired of kdrama endings; I usually leave most kdramas unfinished by its last 4 episodes.
I was browsing thru all of your drama list and I’m curious if you have seen the cdrama A Little Called First Love, a series remake of the original thai film. The FL is the same girl in TBG.
If you liked the Love O2O as well as the Put Your Head On Your Shoulders. You might enjoy as well this one.
