Here’s a prayer for our readers in this blog who may be sick or have family members afflicted with the COVID, especially our friends from India. I wonβt reveal their names in case they want privacy. But feel free to include names of your loved ones here.
Let’s pray for one another.

You shall not fear the terror of the night
nor the arrow that flies by day,
nor the pestilence that roams in darkness,
nor the plague that ravages at noon.
Ps 91:5-6
Merciful God, hear our fervent prayer for all who suffer from the coronavirus.
May those who are infected receive the proper treatment and the comfort of your healing presence.
May their caregivers, families and neighbors be shielded from the onslaught of the virus.
Give solace to those who grieve the loss of loved ones.
Protect and guide those who strive to find a cure and deliver it around the world, that their work may conquer the disease and restore communities to wholeness and health as soon as possible.
Help us to rise above fear.
We ask all this through the intercession of Our Lady of Lourdes, and in the name of your Son, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, now and forever.
Amen.

Thank you @pkml3, a much needed post. Many Amens to our prayer. I have been including daily, the Divine Mercy chaplet, especially for India, and for all countries whose healthcare and hospitals are already overwhelmed or whose services are in danger of being overwhelmed. May God have mercy on us all. Amen.
Amen. π
Thank you for the prayer, @packmule3. It is much needed, especially when every day in my country brings more and more bad news. May divine blessings be on everyone suffering in every corner of the world from this pandemic. Hope humanity is able to triumph over this soon, and all of us and our dear ones stay safe. Amen.
Thank you for your post and the beautiful and appropriate prayer.
It has been feeling like one of those games where when the object is conquered in one place it pops up in another and that repeats over and over again. I’m hoping that the global community can work together. We will overcome one day.
Thank you, @Packmule3, for your prayers and empathy. We have not suffered the death of a family member, but good friends here in the USA have lost aged parents. Also on Monday we heard about the death in India of one of my husband’s classmates from the boarding school he attended in Darjeeling.
Hear our prayers, O Lord. Amen. πππ
Lord, have mercy on all who are suffering.
My heart breaks whenever hearing the colleagues, friend of friend, or acquaintance from India who are suffered because of the latest covid crisis. I know some of them have to stay far away because the border has been closed. Sometimes for a family or husband-wife in the times of crisis, all they want to do is stay together side by side. So Iβm also praying for those who have to suffer alone, far away from their loved ones, be strong, May God be beside you always and give you power to go through this hard moments. ππ»ππ»
Amen. As a COVID survivor my heart goes out to everyone affected by this disease and my prayers are with you. I know how difficult it can be. Thanks to @pm3 for this timely prayer. I live in hope that we shall overcome.
My thoughts and prayers go to all affected by the latest wave of coronavirus. I do not know anyone personally who’s contracted it, but have work colleagues in India who have contracted the virus. May the Lord hear our prayers and provide the required comfort to the most needy during this challenging times.
Amen Amen.
I pray for my people in the Philippines. More and more are affected.
Trusting in our Jehovah Rapha!
Thanks, and amen! A Christ-follower here too.
My former classmate’s mom just passed away of COVID in India…it’s so heartbreaking!
Here in Taiwan our lives (except for mask-wearing and frequent hand-washing) have been almost completely normal since last January, but we cannot be complacent and uncaring to those around the world who have suffered and are suffering!
God have mercy and bring hope and healing!
Everyone, please say safe!
