Hi @pkml3, thank you! Glad it was only work that kept you away.
I enjoyed eps 3 and 4 — Ep 3 was a little slow but gradually the intrigue levels built back up. I love it when we see the past and its interplay with what was our hero’s present.
A question: why did our hero go up to Grim Reaper in her previous role and say ‘I will do what I have promised.’ How could she possibly know what he was talking about at that stage?
I am really enjoying our hero pulling strings behind the scenes and foiling various plots. Of course, he will not remain hidden beneath the parapets for long!
@Kate, for your question, it’s pretty simple.
You definitely must have noticed…. This makes the scene so cool!!!
Rule of cool. 🙂
Kim Hee Woo goes up to her and promises something she can’t know now. But later on, she will know why he told her that.
This kind of promise has been used in other kdramas (I don’t remember which ones)… but someone promises something that the other can’t understand. A way to show sincerity and commitment to keep the promise, even when nothing obliges him to.
It could also be a way for him to verify what he assumes: logically, she doesn’t know anything and can’t recognize him (flashback of episode 1 where she says that). She will probably die later to become the grim reaper (unless he saves her first).
@WEnchanteur — the Rule of Cool! And he is testing her out to see where she is in her own journey.
Thank you. My curiosity is assuaged and logic is restored!
