Hi, Here today. 😉
Thanks @pkml3! Hi @WE… yes we’re here!! I’ve had a busy morning and will have a busy time just before dinner, but I’ll be back for our rewatch. 🙂
Hi all, this may show up twice. I have no reliable wi-if and will be busy so will not be able to do today’s rewatch. See you next week.
Hi all, am here today🙂
Hi @SD okay, see you next week.
Hi @LL, good to see you. Did you read the notice for the next Rewatch Party when our MOTA Rewatch is completed? Would you like to join us for the Liar Game Season 2 Watch or Rewatch? Same day and time after MOTA party ends.
Hi everybody, here!!
I was about to miss the time, fully immerged in rewriting a complicated scene (that I just ended yoooo).
Hi @WE, congratulations on completing your complicated scene.
I was going ahead one episode and watching Ep 15 which I found more interesting. Almost forgot to check the time.
It’s time to start!!
ok go
Start on YURA.
Ep 14 seems to highlight the other women for a change. We see Yu Ra first whose upset at losing control over the ‘narrative’ with regards to getting JW in trouble while getting paid by Prof Cha.
@WE, I only recently noticed the SJJ pattern of having more than 1 villain. This show seems to have 3 … younger Cha HS, Prof Cha and now Yu Ra… They all took action to bring JW down.
The guy is kind, he didn’t slap her but throw something on the ground.
So… I like very much bitches in dramas.
But you already know that. Yura is a good one.
Yeah, more than one villain?
Me too, hey hey. More than one, sure.
But keep in mind even friendy characters can be antagonists. Not villain, but causing serious damages, as if they were villains.
Whatever one might say about Yu Ra, she sure knows how to use and get the most out of the press. Prof Cha thought he could use her to bring JW down, but he had not realised how dangerous she is when cornered… like a rat that bites everyone around it when desperate.
Anyway her antics manages to get Prof Cha to finally call her.
Some conflicts and arguments are always welcome.^^
@WE, well the almost boyfriend was a real antagonist to Hee Ju when he caused grandma to collapse in shock.
Cha says it’s too late to drop the charges, but I feel that he still should from his end, since it is not true that JW killed HS.
By digging his own grave, he likely means that he made the most tragic mistake of trusting Yu Ra.
Im a bit lost on secondary plots but here I see something: because pr Cha knows the truth and don’t have anymore reason to threaten Jin Woo, the writer used YuRa as a remplacement to do the same thing.
I probably said that before, but here a very good idea of juxtaposition.
Jin Woo is chased both in reality and in the game at the same time. Clever. x2 tension.
The very civilized heroin. Instead to run after her man in love… She comes back and pay the food at the restaurant. lol.
Here it’s really weird because the cop is real and say “I was thinking Jin Woo limp”. So what happen here? Now he doesn’t limp anymore in real? Just be in the game make him also stop to limp in reality. I can’t get that.
JinWoo need an assault rifle. Damn it.
Cut the scene differently. Here a good example, when he gets the watch, he orders “print the instructions”. And cut. So we don’t know it now. What create curiosity.
There is a secret about that clothing cabin. In real, something more happens here. But it will be said only in a flashback in the next episode.
oh oh oh.
Writer reflex: “oh, Park Shin-Hye takes the role?”.
Instantly multiply x2 all crying scenes. 🙂
@WE, the editing was good in the creating of cliff hangers.
I’ve lost count of the number of times HJ cries. She’s got very well controlled tear ducts.
Even speaking with Park has her crying.
Park looks like he never went home to change his clothes after arriving at the airport.
@GB, no no, not editing. It’s in the screenplay. 😉
@WE, so SJJ was in control of many of the cuts to create more suspense?
Yes, the question about the limp… in real life he was limping but he didn’t feel it in the game. We see what he feels in the game and he didn’t feel that he was limping.
I had forgotten that his NPC ally Sec Seo appeared more than once to help him.
@GB, of course. You saw all the example of W script I posted? Scenes cut is writer job, as so many things. Even fast flashbacks. Editing is more: you get 3 rushes of the same image in a scene, and choose the one you put on screen, after which one. But it has nothing to do with content creation and order of scenes, or flashback or anything like that. The screenplay is the production material on with the drama is made. Precise and concise.
Yeah, we need Seo appears again. To continue to make that painfuuuuuul for jin woo. And tragic.
As ordered, geek guy put Emma in the church.
Emma isn’t an easy role. She needs to be warm, but also feel artificial at the same time.
When the “key of heaven meets the hand of Fatima the gate will open and the palace will crumble” – what eventually happened was that the gate to the instance dungeon opened so that Se Ju could get out and return to reality.
@GB am thinking I will skip rewatch of Liar Game 2 and wait until fall to do another one. I find that I’m running into too many conflicts right now. Re this episode a few things puzzle me. First can’t believe SuJin would attempt suicide and leave her son without either parent. Secondly I don’t understand that there r two dressing room scenes: first without kiss and second with one. Third it seems that now that brother appears at end of episode Jin Woo would replace him as Master in game. Does this mean he will be “out of sight” too? I haven’t looked ahead to Ep 15 yet.
Jin Woo now in church…church used in this drama as theatrical prop or meant to provide parallel to our personal journey of obtaining our religious quest?
Once she gets the key, the guitar disapears!!
One of the only good things that almost boyfriend does is lend his car to HJ.
So here, it’s crazy, but the plot is over. Anything we see next is flashback.
Oh no, I just said a stupidity.
I forgot… It’s not now.
Because Jin Woo will escape the church after the stab. Not really stabed yet and he will have to return to be really stabbed.
@WE, you mean from the point when JW disappears the plot ends?
Su Jin’s tears and remorse are for herself. She apologises to JW for being the one who had cheated on him. Because she’d done that, Prof Cha never trusted her, even when she had been faithful to HS.
Hee Ju killed by a bullet every step she makes.
Aaaah I forgot too. The kiss flashabck wasn’t in next episode. It happens at the end of this one.
Su Jin’s suicide is not entirely convincing because she leaves so much evidence lying about, and chose to kill herself in the office. She was bound to be found before dying.
Yu Ra goes crazy by killing everyone just because she wants to take what she’s not entitle to.
Su Jin goes crazy and kills herself because she lost her good name but that was her own fault.
HJ crazily logs on to be shot at repeatedly by virtual killers in order to find JW. The only giving female where JW is concerned.
So JW must take a minute out of his precious watch function to spend in kissing HJ. It’s the goodbye kiss. And that SONG again *sigh.
@GB, we got the good part of the song. Be happy!
Park really has not changed his clothes in 2 days!!
JW has disappeared for a day after leveling up to 100, after logging out.
It’s equivalent to a total goodbye and HJ is brokenhearted.
The stupid brother saying NOTHING.
CAN’T YOU TALK, stupid brother?
TAAAAAAALK!!!!!!!!!!
@WE, as far as I’m concerned, there are no good parts to that song. At least change the lyrics to my ‘love’ is you rather than my ‘heart’ is you. Too cheesy.
@GB, if you look closer on W, the heroin don’t wash herself and change clothes a whole week!!!
Min Ju is more afraid than excited to see Se Ju. It takes noona to step forward before she dares to come up to greet her brother.
SJ was never much of a talker, even less so when he returns.
More tears to end the episode with. LOL.
@WE, I know!!! Personal hygiene in SJJ shows is questionable!!!
@LL to respond to your comment… I also thought the same about Su Jin and her suicide. She was another self-absorbed person. Her well being took precedence over her child’s. The child was the most ignored character in a sense. Only noticed in reference to whether Su Jin had been faithful or not.
The dressing room/fitting room was the same scene deliberately cut into 2 by SJJ (@WE checked the script).
I’ll let you enjoy Ep 15 without spoilers.
I believe @pkml3 had something to say about the stained glass picture in the church. There is definitely the theme of a journey and possibly a quest, in parallel with the game journey. You may like to look up @pkml3’s old posts on this show.
So, I’ve to go. Thanks for the rewatch.
See you ep15, the most crazy flashback episode ever.
See you @WE. Thanks too!
I kind of like Episode 15, especially after Ep 14.
Thx for clearing up the dressing room scene, etc. I had forgotten this ep contains what is meant to be final good bye . Why is it necessary tho?
See you next week “if the creek don’t rise!”
