Three things:
1. I’m tired of this girl’s deer-in-the-headlights look. I’m beginning to think that the actress can’t act.
2. I’m not feeling the romance between the leads.
I get that he does nice things for her, like fixing the lights in the living room, and buying her snacks. But I don’t feel the love. In my view, he treats her in the same way that uncle treats a whiny niece.
3. Heaven forbid that they kiss each other in the upcoming episodes!
Let’s enjoy the show.
Thanks @pkml3! Keeping an eye out for headlights and cringey kisses LOL.
I’m waiting for it to drop in viki. π
I only FFDed watched Ep 7 and rushed off to work. All I can say is that it seems some changes happen but they may only have a delaying effect. So worry…worry…
Ep 8 YY is still strangely able to accept her family as guilty without protest and to prefer self-non-existence.
GMS hardly shows up but is a mistress of hidden manipulation.

well after ep 7&8 – yay, HJ did bring YY to the upstairs room. daebak. this house is huge but because the upstairs is like a secret area, YY can’t sleep there. how about now? don’t let her sleep in the couch no more HJ! gosh.
they can’t save the murder victims *cry* but HJ was able to save the mom from committing suicide. yikes. so sad. the guilt! so close. wow.
we have a new character, his father. he’s goofy. so they’re both smart. but why can’t HJ fix the car? @PM3, no kisses yet – but we got a warm hug. awwwwww how sweet.
@GB that GMS, she’s good coz she’s annoying me. but we have 2 less suspects. BHS remains coz he’s covering for his brother? why would LJH give her ring to Beom? why did she remain in town?
Hi @pkml3, I guess I ought to watch the rest of the series. I’ve sort of finished Episode 9 and will go on to Episode 10. Please open the thread for Episodes 9-10, or since this Show is not much commented upon, for Episodes 9-12.
The reason I sound iffy about watching is that although the mystery is still there, and although I liked the premise and saw promise in the set up, the characters have failed to engage me emotionally. There’s something lacking in the execution, and in the bonding of the characters. The events as played out somehow feel tedious to watch.
On top of the murder mystery we also have the backstory of the student protests as personally experienced by a couple of our protagonists. Show has especially YY sent to the past to enable her to find out more about and appreciate her parents’ generation of people. But the way the revelations are made was off putting for me. Not an easy watch. The tone leans towards the serious and heavy.
HJ is no better. He hardly has a reason to smile. It’s mostly worry and uncertainty that’s in the air.
I’d like to see how the Show pulls itself together to give us a reasonable, logical denouement and a happy ending.
Catch ya later! (I decided I needed to add some cheer and healthy fruits to my diet!)
