This gif has nothing to do with “Strong Girl Namsoon.” I doubt Park HyungSik will show up in a cameo. It’s a reminder that this drama has a tough act to follow but I still want to give it a chance.
Let’s enjoy the show.

Hi,
Park HyungSik and Park Bo Young will in fact do a cameo. 🙂 per this

Hi @pkml3 thanks! And thanks @J for the info. There were parts of SWDBS I liked and others that got me scratching my head and which I didn’t care so much for. The cutest thing was the little lady carrying the tall gentleman over a longish distance, and the gentleman looking so cool about it LOL.
A little cameo from the 2 original actors would be fun!
Thank you, @packmule3. Yes, it’s pretty hard to improve on the original pairing. Wasn’t PHS just loonily gorgeous in it? How did PBY keep a straight face?
Light as a feather but super cute. The FL is great – she is really stunning. I wish I understood enough Korean to get how jarring it is hear her speak. Does anyone know who played the male vagrant? He seemed to have idol looks under that hair – I was wondering if it was a cameo. At first I thought Park Bo Gum based on the nose – but it is not him.
@Good Twin, Wikipedia says this about the male vagrant:
“Joo Woo-jae as Ji Hyun-soo[16]
A homeless person who becomes entangled with Nam-soon.”
He has a similar chin to Park Bo Gum and is tall (187cm/6’2″) as well.
I agree, this is so far light as a feather. The FL reminds me of one of the actresses in Melo is My Nature. Ong Seong-wu has grown up well. I’ve only seen him in the coming of age drama, At Eighteen, where he played a student. I guess we’ll see him in another year as he’s now in the military.
I saw the cameo. Park Hyung Sik and Park Bo Young are shown briefly as relatives to the main characters. Did anyone else think that Park Hyung Sik was very thin? He tried on the aeygo of the original drama – I didn’t think it worked as naturally.
He lost all the weight he gained for Happiness. I always find him to be a bit of a chameleon. I thought the cameo was awkward. I dropped this show after Episode 3. Maybe I will speed watch once all the episodes drop – but I don’t know. I do like seeing grandma actress opening a can of whoop ass on the baddies – but it’s not enough to tune in week after week.
I personally thought the post-military muscle looked pretty good on him. It was good to see the cameo, but it seemed forced. I stopped watching because some of the scenes just seem too long and unlikely, even in context of a fantasy.
I’m hoping that Good Day to be a Dog will do a better mix of reality and fantasy.
I hate to admit enjoyment of yet another show… but I am really enjoying ‘A Time Called You’ which is new on Netflix.
Great cast… Ahn Hyo-Seop looking pleasantly robust and muscular, Kang Hoon (remember him as the ambitious and obsessive friend to the Prince in Red Sleeved Cuff), and the FL is Jeon Yeo-Been – the Vincenzo FL.
It feels like a good quality, nice looking, and sounding, production.
Intriguing plot… love and loss and grief, and a back story that has a mysterious relationship with the present day story…. That’s all I know in Episode 2!
Definitely worth trying!
Argh … wrong thread! If you see this @Packmule3 and are able to move this post, I’d be grateful.
