Dropping in because I’m going to start on episode 12 and end it for the day. This show is getting addictive for me.
I’m not analysing stuff here but just enjoying the show, the conversations and the banter. The BFF grandmas talk about living as seniors, ZJ and her BFF XiXia banters…makes you so envious of their friendship.
Nothing here is cheesy (I dropped a few cdramas because the romance was over done, the romantic stares were over obvious)…it gives me shivers.
I’m just as hesitant as CMD on ZJ because he really doesn’t know how much he should proceed. Both clearly know they like each other but the realities of their own personalities…actually ZJ’s preferences on where to live is the big barrier here. (Are they low-key promoting a return to their hometown to live and build families there?) Where I live is such a cosmopolitan city that somehow transnational marriages is getting more common.
And the push and pull in their ‘courtship’, is honestly is pretty fun to watch.
