Do similar events happen in 3s? I’m recovering in hospital. Then my daughter had a bad scald at work and came to hospital for outpatient treatment. Tonight my Father in law has come to hospital for observation for vertigo-like symptoms. My poor husband is running here multiple times for different people. Please pray for all of us. 🙏🙏🙏

I won’t be joining this morning as my youngest son will be heading home after the Thanksgiving holiday, leaving around the time of the re-watch. Next week I will be traveling so it will be the weekend afterwards that I will join.
I have started my original watch though. I remember Kim Sung Rok from My Love from the Stars where he was a particularly effective villain. At the very start of this drama, I was consequently not feeling much empathy for his character. But this actor is very good in this drama, we feel his pain.
Anyway, hope to join you all in a few weeks.

I like how the title print on screen, and the mood, kind of like realistic french movies.
The collapse of the building in some way links Kim with Ae Ri. Her father was in the collapse too.

@FF, yep. We are watching two different timelines for FL and ML. Maybe it’s one year before for the FL, or something like that.
If you take note of AR’s message to her dad, we get the explanation of how the time link between past and present can occur.
WE They are 1 month apart in time. AR is using her mother’s phone to call herself, but that is also her dad’s old number but now Kim receives the calls.
Was there a date on the missing person flyers? Ae Ri made a call on 7 August 2020 to daughter? Must have been her father’s handphone.
I’m confused, how AR old phone ends up to be ML one?
8 Aug is AR’s birthday. Her dad was answering her prayer over her mum, like giving her a gift.
Ae Ri uses her mum’s handphone to call her phone but her phone number was previously her father’s.
When Ae Ri calls her phone number (previously her Dad’s) the call is connected to Kim’s phone.
Kim receives call informing him that his daughter is fine.
Her calls to her dad’s number will go to Kim. She can message him, but the messages and calls can be transmitted only in minute each night.
Mr Lee looks so guilty. 🙂

Ae Ri spoke to Kim, the conversation was so weird but I thought it was funny. The kidnapper called to say that Da Bin will be back the next day. No ransom demanded, unusual.

I would like to share this hilarious exchange I had with my 28 year old daughter just now.
Her mission right now is to help me declutter so she has space for herself. While looking through my old albums she found a newspaper announcement about my being engaged to someone she had never heard about! (shades of 25-21) Indignation and curiosity are killing her. I told her it is a long story and we need to have tea to discuss it! She seems offended on behalf of my husband. It just dawned on me he may not know or remember himself. It was all so long ago.

What a good joke. I guess I’d feel the same if it had never been revealed and I found out about it as young adult. I really liked 25-21 despite it’s ending. It was slightly more real than fairytale in its romance.

Shin sung Rok is not as he appears!
I watched him in “Thank You” and he actually played a nuanced character. I was curious why he never made it to male lead territory and that is when I discovered he is a musical actor.
I am even more motivated now to watch Kairos.

I met warm volunteers in hospital yesterday and learnt how to paint with a palette knife. It was fun. Our maiden art attempts will be used to hopefully earn something for other volunteer projects, assuming anyone will buy them. 😀

My take on the scene of his going thru the tunnel is that this is not yet part of the story, same with the building cracking. He asks if there is any way to not take the tunnel and then he pops a pill as they come out. That said claustrophobia to me.
re: wife comments about performing She is feeling like a showpiece not a valued partner. So she was already resentful about playing the violin for the event. This relationship theme is further developed in the blame/guilt scene in the hospital.

Was the scene where AE sees the girl from the time the girl was lost/kidnapped or an even earlier time when the nanny was not doing her job?
I need to rewatch episode 1 again already! This is my first watch. I understand why I did not watch this past the first episode before. So tragic to lose a child. Hard to watch.

Yes AR and Kim are connected without knowing although apart in time. Remember the prayer AR prayed to her dad… if looks like her dead father has connected AR to Kim’s mobile phone at 10.33pm.
She had kept her dad’s number for herself, and had left messages for him in her own phone. After losing her phone, she terminated her number, but mysteriously Kim’s phone replaced her phone at 10.33pm.
@MM this show has less misdirection. To begin with there is misdirection to set the plot. We and Kim don’t know what’s going on.
It becomes clear and viewers are not deliberately tricked into misunderstanding.
