Pardon my absence. I should be back to my regular drama critique by mid-March. Work and travel seldom mix well together for me.
I’m still watching “The Witch” (How I wish I could write about this!). I’m struggling with “My Dearest Nemesis” – perhaps because the greenness of the male lead doesn’t match Moon GaYoung’s level. I’ll carry on, however, because the unexpected funny escapades still leave me wondering what the whole point of the script is. As for the dorama “The Reason We Fall in Love,” I’m sorry to report that it gave me a couple of reasons not to fall in love with it.
Oh well….
Choi WooSik’s “Melo-Movie” will be relegated to the back burner since IU and Park BoGum’s kdrama is coming shortly.
1. When Life Gives You Tangerines
I have high expectations of this drama primarily since it’s made by same screenwriter of “When the Camellia Blooms.” (Goodness! Has it already been 6 years since WtCB?) It’ll be a “healing drama” so I don’t expect any over-the-top romantic scenes like in “My Beloved Demon” or “King the Land.” Given the Jeju island setting and the lead actors, I think this drama will have an idyllic — or Warm and Cozy — depiction of love. Are you ready for this, @agdr03?
Cast: IU and Park BoGum — Ooh! I hope he does well in this drama. I don’t care if he milks his Good Boy image (reminiscent of Choi Taek in “Reply 1988”). He just needs to reanimate his career and fandom any way he can. And IU’s feisty personality/persona can very well be the spark to do so.
Episodes: 16
Start Date: Fri, March 7
Airs on Friday
Where to Watch it: Netflix
Network: Netflix
2. Potato Lab
From tangerines to potatoes. Will this be the recurring theme in kdramaland this year? Agriculture? Back to nature? Back to simple living? I’ll give this a try.
Cast: Kang TaeOh (“Extraordinary Attorney Woo”) and Lee SunBin
Episodes: 12
Start Date: Saturday, March
Airs on Saturday and Sunday
Where to Watch it: Netflix
Network: tvN
My kdrama list is modest this month, but I’ve carved out time for a cdrama and we all know how long those cdramas can be. Any recommendations?
@Kate, are you watching “Si Jin”?
What are you watching this month?
I watched Melo movie and enjoyed it. Then again, i love films, just like the lead main male character. But this was a sweet, thoughtful series, in my opinion.
Hi All, we’re on the cusp of Lent, and therefore I thought I might cut back on drama viewing. I do realise that I’ve watched fewer dramas lately so the cutback is a bit challenging.
However I have started (after the trailer made me laugh) the rather wacky, funny, light-hearted cdrama Filter where an AI/magic bangle gives a girl who’s not considered pretty, the chance to take on many faces (and bodies). What made me laugh was Tan Jian Ci’s rendition of a girl and what draws me in is that Landy Li does not mind appearing plain and messy. She’s a more down-to-earth looking person, and a child actress – I found out – and is able to hold her own with the multi-talented TJC.
I’d like to find out if the Show has anything other from the obvious message of going beyond the surface to find beauty. I’d also like seeing how TJC’s character is going to redeem himself from being rather rude and fall irrevocably in love with the plain girl with many faces. In any case, just for Tan Jian Ci’s antics alone, I’d watch this.
I’ll continue with the last 2 episodes of Kairos and I Hear Your Voice for the Rewatch Parties and may or may not finish rewatching Love in Time and Under the Skin II. I really liked the team in Under the Skin I and the amazing drawings of people done from the slightest hint of what could be seen. The 2nd season did not seem as warm and full of character development as the first although the leads were together quite a bit. Probably 1 season would have been enough.
Ya! I was watching videos of Warm & Cozy just last weekend. 🥰 I especially loved the below OST.
https://youtu.be/3QQxTkKqLdM?si=j0ow4QkL2vJTxaPo
I’m definitely up for Bogum and IU. 🥰
I will definitely pick up Potato Lab too just because it’s in Netflix. 😃
I’m giving up my social media’s for Lent.
@Packmule3 – agree with your comment re My Dearest Nemesis. The ML does seem to grow into his role as the story continues. But they ML and FL are not equally matched. The other problem is slow editing which put more pressure on the central performances. I am enjoying the show but noting the issues. It seems to be cooking well by Episode 4.
I’m limited for the next 2-3 weeks to what I can download today from Netflix. My past experience is that my streaming access to some shows is limited by Netflix when I’m traveling internationally. I don’t want to take the chance of starting The Potato Lab, then having to wait until I return home to watch the newest episodes. What I’ve loaded onto my tablet are the last five episodes of Queen of Tears (I never finished the show), the last four episodes of The Trunk (which I’m rewatching, because it’s so well done), the last four episodes of The Recruit Season (English language; I’ve chipped away at it on previous plane flights), and all of The Recruit Season 2 (because Teo Yoo is a co-star, and the story is set in South Korea).
I might give the tangerines a try this season. I am currently watching Si Jin and love it to bits. I love strong female and like how the FL handled her so called Brother in law.
Look forward to seeing more episodes.
I have become like a teenager waiting for the episodes to be released.
@GB, I’m watching Filter too and some parts hard me rolling with laughter. Still on the early episodes only till ep.6. I love LiLandi and watched her in Starry Love
I’m definitely up for Bogum and IU. It will be one of the Kdramas I will actually start because I’m quite anticipating it. I find how powerful your favourite actor/actress can be to getting you to watch a drama.
Else I’m watching a few cdramas :O Just starting Sijin. One of the rare chinese dramas that doesn’t have an English title. Translated, it means “Like a brocade” or “like something bright and beautiful”.
Loving “The Best Thing” for its dreamy cinematography and beautiful scenes of the seasons. This is the one I chase right at its heels as the episodes come out. It’s a simple modern romance drama that has the ML being a green flag (or they call him a green forest) all the way. Also combining Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) into the story as the ML is a TCM doctor…so I’m learning quite a bit along the way.
Love to chat on the WLGYT aka Tangerine drama if you all are watching it when it comes out soon!
How’s the male lead, @angelwingssf? This cdrama caught my eye bec of him. I liked his character in “Are You the One”.
I’ll open a dedicated thread for the 🍊 kdrama, @grace.
Thanks for the letting us know that Sijin means in English. Wasn’t there aanother cdrama released recently with a title named brocade? It was in my To Watch pile.
@Welmaris, that’s one downside of traveling internationally, isn’t it? The disruption in our Netflix, Viki, Amazon Prime services!
That’s another reason to like the defunct dramacool site. 😅 The regions don’t matter when it comes to streaming. What Americans can watch in the US can be viewed in Asia, and vice versa.
@packmule – Regarding the male lead – I am not concentrating too much on him. I am just smitten with the female lead – which is a rare for me. I will focus on the ML and report . He does the job as for as I see. I haven’t liked any males in this drama. I have not seen many other dramas but I liked the ML in the double (Duke). So, will have to see how this one fares.
@wellmaris – I have found that kdramacool works for all kdramas internationally. But others like Netflix, or even Kocowa does not work internationally.
Is there any other like the defunct dramacool or watchasian sites operating now? Or they are all gone?
@pm3, yay thanks!! Hope to be more active here. My teaching work intensifies on the job but the prep work is greatly reduced by now so I am able to participate more…less lesson prep during out-of-lesson time.
I also realised what SiJin drama means now. It is actually a combination of the FL & ML names, with the female name coming first. Oh! I was wondering how is this related to brocade but it really is not.
Was it Brocade Odyssey? Not heard much about it but with all the new shows coming out, it won’t be easy to get to it. 😬💪
@angelwingssf
Not been able to access dramacool much or kissasian. It is annoyingly so full of ads. :/
I access a Chinese site for those cdramas not on my subscription apps, but it has no subs, which I can manage as my Chinese improves over the years of watching Cdramas 😄
Honestly I find it cumbersome to subscribe to so many. Viu doesn’t speed up the episodes so I dropped it eventually, or will subscribe by the month if I really want to watch a show I can’t find anywhere else.
@angelwingssf The site that is available now is kisskh.co. Hope you can access it!
My favourite watches right now are Undercover High School and My Love from the Star(a perennial favourite).
I had so many good laughs in the last episode of High School Undercover.
Undercover Otaku(MDN) is a disappointment. It seems to me they have good material but the delivery is lacking in terms of acting (not so much the female lead) and directing/writing. There could be so many funny moments and the whole trauma of their first loves is making for a thin plot.
I am also watching Si Jin and that led me to Are you the One which I had not previously watched.
I started Love and Sword (ML is the one from Snowfall) but the style was not for me.
Might start the Potato Lab- appeals to my science background and my Irish roots.
I started watching My Love from the Star for Korean listening pratice and got caught up all over again in how good it is. No wonder it is credited with playing a key role in further spreading the Hallyu wave in 2013.
I have very much enjoyed the group Kairos watch and am looking forward to the group watch of I can hear your Voice.
I read another article on Signal 2. Still looks like it will be 2026. So I am waiting for this and Flourished Peony 2.
Going back to last month, I enjoyed Dream of Splendour and a rewatch of Lost Romance which I recommend for the romantics in the house who also like transmigration.
For fun and because I could not believe just how bad Scarlet Heart 2 was, I rewatched it and made it to the end with a lot of fast forwarding. The best parts are the very beginning and the last episodes.
I watched Love Endures (chinese) which was ok but I have already forgotten about it.
I have been planning for ages to watch Tree with Deep Roots for the political context behind the creation of Hangul. I just never get to it.
#When Life Gives You Tangerines. Spoilers ahead.
I didn’t know what to expect but I like it. IU and Bogum are good with their characters. I think they bring the best out of each other. I’ve cried and laughed already. I like that there’s a balance in the good and bad times.
First episode – Spring In A Heartbeat
– Ae-sun has an admirer in Gwan-sik.
– The first few scenes was all hardship but I’m just glad Ae-sun’s Mom took her back.
– I laughed when Gwan- sik said to Ae-sun that his older than her. Respect yo! 😂
– But his devotion is incredible. 😱 No wonder his Grandma is upset. 😂
Second episode – Sassy First Love
– He kissed her philtrum! I’m like what? 🤔😂 The kiss was abrupt but it made sense.
– I laughed when the lady owner of the Inn was telling them to get busy since it’s their first night. She’s a very good scammer! 😱
Third episode – Yesterday Was Your Spring
– Oh that was great! One minute I was crying then laughing. 🥰😂
– I love that all the haenyeo ladies are all supporting them. 🙌🏻
Fourth episode – The Blazing Summer Sunshine
– I like that they’re always on each other’s side.
– Their ritual is always at 9pm. Lights off! 😆
Laughing out loud — Undercover Highschool
Smiling plenty — My Dearest Nemesis
waiting to watch tangerines until the first frost (cdrama) is over — FF is causing regular storms in my heart, but might not be the group’s cup of tea (a past sexual assault troubles the FL)
potato Lab was too mean and too flaccid
meanwhile to fill up the corners, no-romance comic doramas: the hot spot, utsotoki rhetoric and the inheritance detective….
SiJin I thought the arc early in the drama about the brother in law fit the narrative. Not so sure about a similar arc around episode 16 or so.
I am enjoying this story.I would like to continue watching; however, I now feel the narrative may go too far afield from what I anticipated. In a way that would not be enjoyable for me.
I want more about their relationship and how it is different this time around than previously, .
I enjoyed the arc of the foolish brother becoming hero like.
@agdr03 I agree about WLGYT. I love it. I didn’t know what to expect but it delivered in spades. Jeju as a backdrop is just stunning. The story telling is vivid and has realism tinged with a grittiness about it. IU and BoGum are both great in character. So are the child actors by the way. Lots of laugh out loud moments tinged with moments of sadness. The narrator I believe is AeSun’s daughter? Who is also played by IU. They dropped 4 episodes in the one hit and each week it will be the same. Going through the seasons of their lives. The first being Spring…although when we get to Ep4 it’s early summer I believe. The drama has a warmth about it (I guess Koreans would call it “healing”). As the story unfolds, it takes us subtly through historical moments in South Korea’s history. I like how this is done because whilst it marks significant change in South Korea, the people remain grounded and unmoved in their day to day lives. It is evident that propaganda can only change so much in deep seated beliefs and superstition. The love story is nothing new but it is told with such tenderness that one doesn’t mind.
So far liking what I’m seeing with 🍊 and sort of regretted watching some episodes on my phone. The visuals are pretty spectacular and acting is just as great. Looking forward to the dedicated threads, I’m almost ready to add this to the list of kdrama greats/must see’s before you expire alongside the likes of Reply 1988, Goblin, Hospital Playlist, etc…can’t wait to read your commentary!
I am wondering if anyone is still watching Sejin?
I am asking about SiJin Because I am wondering when we will learn more about their previous life relationship and about changes in the current time line. I am around episode sixteen or seventeen now.
Spoiler
Are we getting a serial murder/conspiracy plot? If so is that going to take over the drama? I am here for the intricacies of the redo in the relationships.
@nrllee, @SOAB,@agldr03, I too, have been greatly impressed with🍊for all of your expressed reasons. Apparently, each grouping of four episodes it’s called a volume, and if each of the following three volumes are as good as the first, this will prove to be quite a memorable K drama for me.
Also enjoying My Dearest Nemesis, but has nowhere the depth of 🍊. Enjoying both first lead and second lead couples
I agree about the child actors @nrllee they were great, actually all of the characters are good. ☺️ And yes, Jeju is gorgeous as a backdrop.
I like that it’s GeumMyeong (AeSun’s daughter) who’s retelling the story. It looks like she’ll go through her own love story too.
I’m looking forward to the next volume. 😃
It’s nice to know that you’re enjoying it too @StarlettOnAB and @Lootie Lyn 😃
I’m taking back what I said, that I love The First Frost. I just like it. 😃
I feel it shouldn’t have 32 episodes. It could be condensed and I found the latter part not as exciting like the scenes where she moved to Hong Kong for about 7 months.
I like the parallel scenes to Hidden Love like the piggy back drunken scene, Sang Yan carrying YiFan’s bag etc. 🥰
I love the scenes in the shared apartment a lot. Those gave me butterflies. ❤️
One things for sure, Sang Yan and Sang Zhi are great siblings/individuals. They love wholeheartedly and gives unconditional support to the one they love. I love them! 😍
Kalimera Ladies and Gentz!
I do hope you are okay. I don’t know what I am going to watch in March.
I am still watching “My Dearest Nemesis” and most likely I will watch the Tangerines… 💕
P.S I forgot to write that I watched “Love Scout” and I really enjoyed it!
Hello BODers! After taking a long break from kdramas, I started Tangerines and have watched the first episode. Rarely do I want a drama to engage in more exposition but I would have loved exploring the world of the haenyeo more What a hard life the mother had! Then to find out she was only 29! Perhaps we will learn more as the story unfolds. There was a reference to the mother having fled from somewhere. I assume she fled North Korea during the war. Maybe it will be explained later. I love how much the young boy looks like Park Bo Gum. Anyway it was a good first episode. I will keep watching.
I Found the developments in undercover high school this week to be unexpected. If it continues in this direction, in addition to romance, Secret agents, Comedy, school bullying, and educatio al politics, we have world politics.
Volume 2 – WLGYT
Episode 1 – A Midsummer Night’s Full Nets
– I’m so glad that they’re finally able to have the chance of a good life.
– To be able to own her Mom’s old house, that was moving. ❤️
Episode 2 – Life Goes On And On
– This episode was heartbreaking. 😭
Episode 3 – A Fruitful Fall
– Awww GwanSik really got his First Lady. ☺️
– But what’s with AeSun doing the pole dancing. 😂
– I liked how that lady that our couple helped when they first came to Seoul helped AeSun back. ☺️
– I got some increased dopamine when GeumMyeong got picked up at college by that actor. Forgot his name though. 😂
Episode 4 – The Moon Wanes, Yet The Young Heart Remains
– The conversation with GwanSik and Geomyung’s on/off boyfriend was hilarious. 😂 That was bullseye! 🎯
– I think this episode weren’t as coherent as the last few. It was a bit jumpy for me.
– AeSun and GwanSik’s love and sacrifice for GeomMyeong is immeasurable.
WLGYL is next on my watchlist.
Currently I am watching MDN and UCHS.
I am almost finished Sijin and did finish FF.
My rewatch of MLftS hit a roadblock.
I started Are you the One and will go back to it.
I rewatched the first episode of One and Only and will slowly continue to savour.
I started Filter and am encouraged by others to persist as it gets better, I am told.
In my fear of watching a drama that might be ultimately disappointing I had stopped Sijin and MDN at epsiodes I did not enjoy. I eventually continued both and am enjoying them again.
My absolute favourite right now in UCHS! Might watch the robot one again for the male lead.
@agdr03 On FF, I had mixed feelings but it was worth watching. Some interesting aspects of their interactions to unpack. I do not think I would rewatch.
@monmor , I still enjoyed First Frost and mainly because of the main leads interaction. They acted well together and their scenes were full of warmth and shyness especially from YiFan. 🙂
I just don’t think it needed 32 episodes though. The last episode itself was a lot of scenes back in high school. I loved the proposal though. But I thought cutting off her Mother for good was not necessary as well. I understand her frustration and extreme hurt that she suffered because of her but I thought she can be more forgiving of her even if it’s much later.
Meanwhile @Fern and I are laughing with The Potato Lab. We’re enjoying it and hopefully it will remain like that till the end.
I finally finished The Witch and I think for the first time I can say that I wasted 10 hours of my life. Enough said. LOL!
First Frost spoilers entire drama
@agdr03
I thought the way of telling this story was well done.
We are never sure what happenned in both of the s**ual assau** situations. This highlights the toxic atmospheres she lived in and the repurcussions of s**ual ass**lt on her life and those close to her. It also highlights the pain of being abandoned by her mother and how she never felt safe.
I thought the relationship of the main couple was well written and nuanced. His anger at her for abandoning him comes out in his attitude towards her sleep walking. He paints her as coming on to him when, in my mind, she is looking for the comfort and warmth of the sun. His attitude bothered me at times because it was reminiscient of a “she deserved it because she wanted it” attitude. It seemed insensitive of him but, of course, he did not know what she had been through and he was dealing with his confusion about her feelings for him..
I thought it was very interesting that the writer chose sleepwalking as the main symptom of her PTS. The sleepwalking illustrates the distance emotionally she was both from herself and from him. He tries to reach her and keep her safe by putting up the lighting strips but she tells him sleepwalkers do not see the light. She did see him though.
The couple bridge this gap with mutual trust and compassion. Their love is tender and passionate. The acting is well done.
I agree with agdr03 that the drama could have been more compact at the end. I was surprised when the last episode showed so mant scenes from their youth. It did feel like padding to reach the episode count.
Hi to everyone!
Sorry I am late to the party for March. My mom had some health issues and so it has been hectic these few weeks.
Thanks to everyone who gave feedback on The Witch and Filter. Much appreciated.
March Korean Dramas I want to check out:
When Life Gives You Tangerines: I’m a fan of Park Bo Gum, so I want to check this one out for him.
The Potato Lab- I like the Lead actors. I need a good romcom, so please be funny, Show!
Undercover High SChool- The feedback from viewers says this drama is hilarious, so I will check it out as I need a light watch.
Chinese Dramas I want to check out in March:
Filter – Thanks to feeback from BOD, I will check this one out as I need a good rom com.
Ski Into Love- at Viki and I think also Youku YouTube. Another sweet romance story. I’ve enjpyed lead actors in other projects.
Rainkissed Fate- at Viki Dawn Chen and Dai Gao Zheng together again! This time in a contract marriage rom com plot- Yes, please! I loved these two together in melodrama “Maid;s Revenge,” so I can’t wait to see them working together in a romantic comedy.
The Glory- at Viki, WeTV, and Tencent Video YouTube. It’s another revenge type of drama with a touch of mystery. The drama is based on a novel written by the same author of hit drama The Double.
@table 122000
What a comprehensive list!
I hope your mother is OK.
Thank you especially for the chinese drama list. I have just started filter And I think I will really enjoy it. I also have my eye on ski into love And the one about the eastern medical doctor.
@agdr03
After writing the above comments about First frost I am finding that the drama is staying with me. I have upgraded the rewatch value.
The evil royal aunt in Sejin Is giving me knots in my stomach. I have also Lost track of the Relationships in the royal family but that’s okay.
Considering the bad ending the first life, I can’t imagine it will be a bad ending this time.
SIJIN. I don’t think my heart can take this Suspense. I just finished episode thirty six. I will need to wait until All the episodes are out,So I can watch it all at one sitting.
@monmor-
Thanks for your kind thoughts for my mom. Much appreciated. We are taking it one day at a time.
You’re welcome for the Chinese dramas. I’m especially looking forward to Rainkissed Fate as I like the main CP. I’ll start The Glory once more episodes have been released.
I just finished another Chinese Mini Drama that I really enjoyed called Grab Your Love. It’s a rom com set in the Republican era about a private tutor who comes to teach the Male lead’s nephew. It’s available at WeTV.
@PM3. 🍇🍈🍉🍊🍋🍌🍍🥭🍎🍏🍐🍑🍒🍓🫐🥝🍅🫒
Filter is hilarious. I am on episode 8.
I enjoyed the reincarnation drama song in her dream sequence. This drAma seems custom made for the male lead.
Would this be a good drama for its own thread? Also a thread for UCHS?
MDN, in episodes 9 and 10, has more heart. Thoroughly enjoying now.
Sijin is coming to a suspenseful last few episodes.
@Packmule – sorry, I’m late to the party!
Yes I have been watching Si Jin. I like both leads. I also like the pace of the story telling, including the melodramatic opening scene which raises so many questions and draws you powerfully into the FL’s story.
Some have critiqued it for being too similar to Blossom and other shows like The Princess Royal (I got a bit bored of the leading actress in that drama). But I don’t care because time travel with life ‘do-overs’ is one of my favourite story lines!
All that said, I was lured away by other shows. So I plan to refresh my memory this weekend and get stuck in again.
I agree with @Monmor that Filter is a delightful show.
It’s a little undercooked at the start and then gradually invites you in to a fun, fantasy drama ‘meal’ full of delicious themes, laugh out loud moments of goofy comedy and twists and turns that keep you on your toes.
I would advise anyone watching it to give it around 8 episodes to really get into it.
The screenwriter is Tong Hua (Scarlet Heart and Lost You Forever amongst other shows.) I like her work as do many on this blog.
@kate Yes the stories do seem very similar At times and it can be difficult to watch more than one at the same time without getting totally confused. I wish I
Had finished blossom at the time. If I go back now I will be watching a generic historical time travel Redo story, Having forgotten so much that was specific to the show.
As you know, This genre is also one of my favorite. I have come to realize, like you, I need to be very selective about which shows in this genre I watch. One way of doing that is watching actors I like and looking at who the writers and directors are.
@Kate I
Am just at episode eight now in filter. I see what you mean by giving It until episode 8 Because I can see the show settling in now.
Earlier episodes did keep me engaged and there were some very humorous moments. I don’t know how much I would have wanted to persist if I did not already have reassurances from you and GB.
I’m having another round of listening to Tan Jian ci!
About Sijin. His ponytail was very annoying😁
🥛🍪🥛🍪🍞🧀🥖🧈🥐🥓🥒🥦🥑🥝🥭🍒🫐🍋🍊🍐🍎🍪🥛🍪🥛
@pkml3, please open a thread for the I Hear Your Voice Rewatch Party.
I’ve been so busy, I forgot to remind you earlier! Many thanks in advance!!
I’ve just been watching videos on what to do to prevent arthritis and in the diet section, broccoli, walnuts, blueberries and fatty fish (like salmon) are recommended. I’m glad to say I’ve got these foods. And the thing to avoid is high fructose corn syrup, used in many sweet fruit juices and drinks. Just thought I’d leave a health tip, since I’ll be working on avoiding or reducing knee and joint pain. 🙂
🥛🍪🥛🍪🍞🧀🥖🧈🥐🥓🥒🥦🥑🥝🥭🍒🫐🍋🍊🍐🍎🍪🥛🍪🥛
Sending prayers for you and your Mom @Table122000. 🙏🏼
I am enjoying The Potato Lab. I like both the leads even though I haven’t watched the FL ever. She’s very funny. 😁
I agree @monmor that YiFan and SangYan’s relationship is gentle and passionate. Both actors did their characters very well. 🙌🏻
I love their kisses. 🥰 If I rewatch it, it will just be all their scenes together. ☺️
@Monmor and @agdr03,
I am half way through First Frost. Enjoying it, although the story telling feels a bit slow/repetitive. It helps a lot if you are a fan of one or both of the main leads. Beautiful production values, that said, and good performances by beautiful actors.
I loved the scene with the sunshine dream and the bemused ML!
On a lighter note, I find it hard to see how anyone can take so very long to warm up to Bai Jingting in that role. For me that was a bit unrealistic!! I guess we have to put it down to the FL’s family context and experiences creating a safety bubble zone for her.
One of the titles for first frost is “hard to woo.” Both titles are apt.
@kate I would not be wasting precious time either!😚🤩
@Kate , it was a slow burn romance but it was worth it for me. 🥰
As much as it took YiFan a long time to become Sang Yan’s girlfriend, I loved how she owned that title especially at one of their friends wedding. 😉 You’ll know what I mean when you get to it. ☺️
@Monmor -haha!
@agdr03 – looking forward! I’m sure it will be worth it based on your comments and @Monmor’s.
update on tangerines — not. Had barely finished first frost (complicated show!) when I got completely hooked on The Glory — thought I thought I would just peek at the first episode…many hours later of gritty and complicated cdrama intrigue and an FL who bites….I do not know what has gotten into me this spring, but I am not alone, the young’uns in the comment section are pretty lively over tG too. Tangerines will have to wait.
@agdr03- Thank you so much for your prayers for my mother and I. We are taking things one day at a time.
Thanks also for your comments on The Potato Lab. I’m looking forward to starting it soon.
Sijin came to an end today. I am happy to report that my heart is still in one piece.
