  1. Hi there all. Anyone else having slow internet (all yesterday too)? Using the phone is better but awkward. I remember GB had a sim issue three weeks ago +-…

  2. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

Hi @IB, so far my Internet is okay and I hope it stays that way!!!

The only way I could use the phone was by watching the episode in advance and then only answering the comments here using the phone, without watching the episode at all. Yes, very awkward!!

  3. I should hope so, in Singapore? Barring WWWIII, anyway. Im in the US on the East Coast, and odd unpublicized attack issues facing larger institutions tend to spill over for a few hours of slowdown at a time as millions of people change their usage.

  4. The problem with the phone is it wasnt charged and now I have to charge it while watching. The charger has a short cord, I leave my neck problems to your imagination.

I can use the phone in combination with the blog, print text isnt affected its videos hanging up, just a problems of speed and density of data.

  5. the blog on the laptop, i mean..

  6. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

Thanks for being with us anyway @IB, although it’s going to be more challenging. Take care of your neck though!

  7. starting….laughing at the green boob suit so much

  8. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

    Yes, we Start NOW!

Love that green pregnant suit on the boss. He’s such a good sport!

  9. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

We begin at the beach though, with our couple thinking about the policeman Ahjusshi who had tried to commit suicide but whom they’d saved.

We see the scene from 13 years ago and that Ahjusshi has plans to stay alive this time because there are the 2 kids to meet in the future.

  10. Hi All, I am here.

  11. Hi IF and GB

  12. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

Hong Ju wants to meet the Ahjusshi although none of them may recognise each other.

The title of this episode: “We’re Coming to See You Right Now”

  13. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

Hi @FF, missed you last week!

  14. Hi FF.

Oops, I forgot why he’s at the hospital.

  15. @GB, my mum passed on last week.

  16. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

    Hi @WE,

We have several people looking at the sea. HJ and JC are taking a break while Myung Daegoo has collected his father’s ashes. He had been impressed by JC who beat Snake Lee in the last week’s case.

  17. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@WE, the young looking police Ahjusshi almost drowned himself so he’s in hospital.

  18. Aaah, Suzy is really more pretty in this drama than in Genie, even with shorter hair.

  19. The serial murder IV case brings together everyone — a big wave. Nice way to work through the last section of the show.

Beautiful opening. A little more of the ocean.

  20. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

My deepest sympathies, @FF. May she rest in peace.

I trust you’re okay and at peace about it yourself.

  21. @FF my condolences on your mother’s passing.

  22. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@WE, yes, I believe so too. Suzy looked more angular and less ‘cute’ in Genie.

  23. Hi @WE!

  24. @FF, sorry for this, I send you my condolences.

  25. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

HJ is all ears when she hears that the other assignment is to spend three days at the Prosecutors Office. LOL the guy boss gets to wear the pregnant suit instead of HJ. She had quickly turned the tables on him. LOL.

  26. @GB, “angular” is definitely an amazing choice of word, and I need to hire you for the endless and difficult editing pass I started and moving slowly on it. (more seriously, I’d need someone writing french, because I edit first a french version).

I’ve the feeling she have lost too much weight. I don’t think it’s because she’s more aged.

  27. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

We see JC’s insincerity (hypocrisy!) … he says one thing but wants something else from Mr Choi.

Meanwhile the Serial IV Murder case crops up for JC. Snake Lee had won an award for that case when he had been a Prosecutor.

  28. Thanks for the condolences, I will need some time to get over it.

  29. The confluence of the dreamers. The Big Wave is the case which draws them together. The discussion while cutting fruit about why they dream.

    This is a fast-moving episode.

  30. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

People seem to be very careless with their phones. One thief can steal so many of them.

Thief copies out the data in the phone.

  31. I don’t remember if we know the famous “secret” of the cop guy. The more I’m going into the drama, the more I’m a red fish.

  32. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@FF, take a break and relax with this rewatch.

The good guys are talking about how being thankful to the person who saved their lives got them starting with prophetic dreams about their saviours.

Ahjusshi could be dreaming about them too.

  33. JC being childish and jealous again, watching HJ’s choice of cut fruits to boost his ego.

  34. Last ep woo tak realized that his cop friend knew it, from the help he got with the charging(!) phones. We knew, of course from his friend’s threats much earlier.

  35. I love Pro Shin’s drama on camera. She almost hit her helper with her hair whipping around.

  36. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@IB, you refer to The Big Wave as in the waves at sea of does it refer to something in particular?

Hah! instead of JC, HJ is assigned to the female Prosecutor who does so much hair flicking and touching of hair that it’s hard to tell if she did much work. She looked more like a model.

  37. The theory:
They saw in dreams the one who saved their life.
Maybe additional rule: if this person also able to have premonitory dreams?
Does it work for JC ? (in the childhood drowing?)
Suzy is the first dreamer in this theory?

  38. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@WE LOL you’re talking about having the memory of a goldfish??? LOL.

Well, policeman is turning up in this episode, because
    SPOILER

he does have dreams of JC too.

  39. I am surprised that they allow a reporter to follow the public prosecutor for TV program, including the suspect/witness interview process.

  40. @GB
It is from the voiceover at the biginning (HJ’s voice) about how many small ‘turbulences(?) came together to make a big wave.

.we see JC’s feet in the water at the end of it they’re still on the beach during that..

  41. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@FF, JC is an odd mixture of smart and mature in some areas of work, but totally childish, messy (at home) and petty in his personal life.

  42. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@WE, the strange case of HJ dreaming is that she had it as a child and then it spread to those whom she saved and who got saved by JC. So strange. The only reason given was an intense gratitude that the saved person had for the one who saved them.

  43. @FF, @GB, re messy mixture of JC, and it is really lovable isnt it?

  44. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@FF, my thoughts exactly. But in a kdrama, we close one eye or maybe both!

Like how Woo Tak managed to get into the police force with his colour blindness. He says later it’s because of an error somewhere that he got in.

  45. @GB, it’s true I’ve a bad memory.
But to boot, today I’ve also lot of problem to concentrate on the drama. I don’t know what, maybe many other things agitated in my mind, beyond my awarness level. I’m unable to get IN.

  46. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@IB ah… that’s where the wave came from.

LOL now JC is in trouble with HJ coming to observe him that whole night. He can be such a mess at work too. And HJ is recording it all LOLOL.

    Everyone is so self-conscious.

  47. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@WE, well just ask when you can’t remember. I’m sure one of us will remember something or other that any of us forgets.

  48. @GB, exactly! JC is an odd mixture but I like his odd ways. Who is that someone dreamt that JC and HJ were locked in a container

  49. @GB, WE; so the table discussion about gratitude for being saved isnt a useful one, bec Suzy doesnt fit it.

    Patient Zero.

She suffers from horrific anxiety etc, which stems from her dad’s death, but she dreamed before that?

Or was her dad’s death the first premonitory dream, maybe.

So last ep where she resolved that regret meant she went back to the source of her dreaming….will it stop?

  50. @GB, yeah, the “superpower” spreads like this. It’s a good idea. What’s more, to make sure we don’t guess it too soon, it was hidden with past situation we didn’t know yet.

I can only think about a catastrophic situation making thousand of people may die but are saved. So the superpower will spread over the world at accelerated speed, then produce a situation really crazy. A brand new world where everyone can see the future.

  51. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@FF, I won’t spoil it for you but it’s the policeman they saved, although he’s no longer a policeman.

Now we have Park Dae Young – the namesake of JC’s boss! 2 Park Dae Youngs and boss does not even try to investigate the other Park propely.

  52. Locked in the container = Choi’s dream abt danger to JC and HJ at the hands of the original Serial IV murderer.

  53. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@IB, I only recall that both her parents believed HJ when she told about her dreams so that means they must have been going on for some time and had come true. No clue about whether the dreams ever stop for her, or for the good dreamer guys.

  54. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@WE, sounds like a scenario for your next writing project!!

  55. @IB, I see investigator Mr. Choi is the dreamer.

  56. @WE, a head-spinning “brand-new superpower”…I think i would need several novellas to work out all the possible consequences.

  57. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

Before we head to the container, poor JC gets shouted out by boss and HJ is there to hear it all. She feels so bad. He is actually right to want to check out the story. It was something that no other prosecutor did for the Thief Park.

  58. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

The thing about keeping a secret until the end so that it’s not a lie… It’s something Woo Tak had told HJ to do but she couldn’t.

Now he’s been doing it for years, hiding his colour blindness, but how long can he continue keeping this secret.

And JC is about to check on whether Thief Park had ever told the truth. In the end it’s HJ who gives him the answer.

  59. Even when JC is pressured to issue the arrest warrant, he still goes out verify the information provided by the suspect before making the decision. So diligent.

  60. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

WE get HJ appearing where JC is… she just knows where he is. That’s a real superpower!!

She even found out from the street food vendor that what Thief Park had told JC had been true in the pst.

He feels like a loser but she does not mind. She’s keeping all recordings of JC only for herself, to keep other women from going crazy over him. She gets a kiss for that.

  61. About Suzy, although she looks different in Genie her acting skill is still pretty much the same. I do not see much improvement in her acting skills.

  62. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@FF, that’s the reason his unsolved cases pile up so high. I think no one else is as diligent. The thing is that the Thief’s daughter might have been alive if the first Prosecutor (the other Park Dae Young) had investigated then and found the little girl alone at home.

By apologising for the others’ failure to check and save the girl, JC gets a ‘reward’.

  63. Hello I thought I would let you all know that I am not likely to rejoin this drama.Rewatch , but i’m thinking it will work better for me with the time change in november with the next drama rewatch.( GB knows this)

  64. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@FF, in Genie, I only noticed that Suzy was different enough to not be mistaken for any other characters she’s played before. It helped that being a psycho meant that she did not need to overact.

  65. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

    Thanks for dropping by @MM!

  66. Hi MM, is there going to be a time change in the rewatch?

  67. @MM I can see how the time change helps.

  68. @FF, Suzy often plays Suzy.
But her role in Genie has lot of limitation, has to be psychopath without emotion most of the time.

I’m not negative about actors playing themselves because there aren’t lot of actors able to do something else, and there are great actors doing that and everybody love them, and even want them to play themselves, it’s why they go to see the movie.

  69. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

The number of IV serial killer victims has increased from 11 to 19. The killer is still at work. Now the thief’s fence is going to be killed.

JC tells boss that he does not want to be a careless Prosecutor like the one who let Park’s daughter die.

  70. The snake is trying to sway Investigator Choi into thinking that he is involved in fabricating false evidence!

  71. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@FF @IB the Rewatch will not change time. At least here in Singapore we’ll stick to 10pm.

LOL poor ‘pregnant’ boss of HJ. He can’t even bend to reach the floor.

  72. Oh the theme song returns post the rescue…so good. But not just our couple, who have had such sweet moments in this episode alone together, but in relief hugging together with Inspector Choi too.

  73. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@FF the thing is that Mr Choi would have followed orders and would not have known that some of the stuff he was doing was helping Snake Lee fabricate evidence. He feels so bad that the wrong person was jailed and is now dead.

For an older guy, Mr Choi can run quite well still.

  74. Kiss in the stairs.
“You talk too much, girl, so get a kiss”. 😀

  75. That was Lee Jae Won as mr.checked pants! He is sucj a solid presence in his (supporting) roles.

  76. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@IB first we get the super stressful music before we get the more relaxed stuff.

He gets everyone out, even the dead guy.

  77. I find that the ten a m time means my whole morning is taken up by this. When we started at nine a m , when the clock go back then I will have more of a morning. I have insistent family members on saturday morning.

  78. re the time change — although daylight savings time is all in our heads, other pre-scheduled events in our lives do happen later (fall back!) when we, only theoretically start our watch here in canada and most of the US states now, at “9:00”.

  79. The hugging scene was touching, can’t help noticing Choi’s hands and fingers covered with blood. It shows how hard he tried to break the lock to save JC and HJ.

  80. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

Now the OST “It’s You” (I think it’s called) applies to Mr Choi.

Now that question on whether with the saving each other thing completing the circle or now that it’s reciprocated by Mr Choi, yes, I wonder if with reciprocal gratitude the dreams will stop for him.

  81. @MM, Hi, nice to get some news from you.

Is there a way to change the rewatch time?
Should be one hour sooner or later?
I’m ok with that, but doesn’t know other people constraints.

  82. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@FF I really like Kim Won Hae in this role more than in any other roles he’s been in. And he’s been acting in sooooo many shows!

  83. @GB, oh you noticed the super-thriller music! It didnt seem overdone bec of the “big wave” pre-advisory.

  84. about Kim Hae Won He has.
More of a presence as a character in this drama and less as a comic relief.

  85. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@WE, once I think or maybe twice??? we did change the rewatch time… it was 9pm for me and very early for the other side of the world, … it was either too challenging or did not make that much difference and it seemed odd that people who did not have Daylight Savings had to change the time at all. So I decided to just make it one hour later and stick with it to avoid too much confusion. So now we stick to this time.

  86. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@IB that super-thriller music is so loud, so intense… I can’t miss it!

  87. Oh, we get a “James Bond” deathtrap situation here.

  88. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@MM, yes, that’s probably why I like Kim Won Hae here more than elsewhere.

  89. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@WE, but we do not get James Bond doing the nifty spy thing and getting his own self out of the trap. Did James Bond usually need help to escape?

  90. It’s nice to stare at each other, but guys, you should think about quit the room ASAP instead. 😀

  91. I am just going with what I think we’ve done in the past.Which is to adjust the time when the time changes. The issue with that has always been that some places change the time and some don’t. Here in canada , some parts of some provinces don’t change the time!

I leave it to growing beautiful.

  92. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@WE, ahhhh those dramatic long pauses just to add to the suspense.

The problem with these people is that they go and investigate entirely alone.

  93. @GB, JB always escape by himself, else, it wouldn’t be JB. 😉

Here Choi is the savior. I don’t know exactly why. He got a dream?

OOOOOooohhhh, last flashback with a WOO!!! Effect. The cop was CHOI !!! ARgRlgGllll.

  94. @WE, RE daylight savings, it is too weird to force anyone else to conform to it. And actually 900 always (meaning for us here it would be 800 during the winter!) would be too early for me. I am always scrambling to fasten down my memory again at the last minute along with a (hobbits) second breakfast, the dog’s second walk and the idiotic internet.

So much for greater connectivity. Now we are completely dependent on a variable unregulated private service for way too much of our lives!.

  95. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@WE, isn’t it fun when you haven’t been spoiled and can enjoy the revelation with full WOOH impact?!?!? LOL.

  96. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

Yup @IB, that’s why I made it one hour later at my end and stuck to it. So on your side people only need to worry about 10am or 9am. @WE has to worry about whether it’s 3pm or 2pm, I think.

  97. GReat episode.
Bye @GB, WE, FF, until we meet again.

  98. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

Bye @IB. See you next week!

  99. @IF, I just follow what other people want about that.
I’m lucky to be in a time zone that fits anything, even with the time change of “day saving” of my country. That should just be deleted by the way. People don’t like that.

  100. I’ve to go now.
    Wish everybody a good week!
    Bye bye.

  101. @GB, it’s the nice thing with bad memory. You rewatch a drama you watched years earlier and forgot the twists, then blasted again. 😀

  102. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@WE, yes, I’ve a bad memory even for recently watched shows.

I hope I recall enough of Mobius during our next Rewatch Party!

  103. @WE et al,
notice that although @WE was “at sea” (= being a red fish?) he got along “swimmingly” in the waves…
    (cant resist a joke)

  104. Bye everyone, reading your comments has always been fun.
