  1. Hi here. I come early, doing little things on internet while waiting.

  2. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

Hi @WE!, I’m watching another show but I’ll be back!

  3. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

    Hi Everyone, we start NOW!!!

  4. Hi GB. It seems it’s the time.
Hey, I give a new: I finally edited all 12 episodes! Ahhah. Now I have to do the pictures. Never ending work…

  5. I am here.

It is snowing so I may lag ehind on video.

  6. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

Hi @IB, JW goes back to court.

  7. Dong-Ho has to choose his side.
Well, yes, since so long. ahh.

  8. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@WE @IB So frustrating that the doc will tell part of the truth but still protect the bad guy. That’s because Nam GM intimidated him.

  9. Hi IF.
How many IV are scratched in kdramas??
They almost die but want to go back fighting without wasting time to heal.

  10. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

At least now JW is wondering if Park DH means it when he wants his dad to be found innocent.

  11. @WE

And with no visible damage to the arm!

Yet another horrific act of Gyu Man — ‘bite your nameplate!”

  12. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@IB @WE, some strange episodes of memory returning and then memory loss again … so painful.

  13. @GB, ah yes, the doc doesn’t reveal who paid him to say a lie. By the way, Gu-Man go to see him after (or it’s before and it’s flashback ?)

  14. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@IB I hate violence and fast forwarded that part of the episode with NGM.

  15. Gu-Man actor is famous and did lot of great roles, but often good guys. I wonder if many kdrama watchers know how even best he is at camping a villain.

  16. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@WE, on rewatching it sounds like NGM visited the doc after the trial and not before. He went back to punish him.

  17. @WE
after — gyu man is coming unhinged and flapping in the wind.

  18. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

Next we get the plot by JW to scare Detective Kwak into confessing or telling the truth.

  19. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

Hah! In Ah dares to challenge ex-boss that she’d make sure he’d get caught.

  20. Hello, I am here just finished my exercise session.

  21. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

In find In Ah’s mother quite a hassle. She does not get the point or ask deeper questions. Fortunately In Ah’s dad is soooo good.

  22. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

Hi @FF, that sounds so healthy! I’m at 19:20 Minutes… NGM at the hostess lounge with Park DH and his ‘father’ figure who’s still prepared to be a dog wagging his tail.

  23. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

Do we ever find out why Dong Ho’s father hit JW’s father’s car?

  24. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

Dong Ho sounds like he’s made up his mind about which side he’s going to be on.

Meanwhile JW finds that he gains a new colleague in In Ah, and a lodger in his office!

  25. Gu-man drunk, with guys and girls in a bar. For sure, this scene will be funny. 😀

  26. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

Poor Dad Seo in prison in pain. He never gets help when he needs it.

  27. Hi FF. You did a little sport so?!

    Dong-Ho has to make a choice, damn-it!
    He’s so frustrating.
He says he’s decided, but we never see anything.

  28. Is JW sick? The manager asked if his condition has worsen and he said no one should know about it yet.

  29. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

We need that stuttering colleague to take the photos… the few they have of their little team. The only person missing is Dong Ho.

But JW runs to the hospital, of course… at the time when he is just enjoying having a new team member.

  30. @GB @WE, have been trying to be healthy. Been doing Pilates for a few years and now starting on racket games.

  31. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@FF, yes JW has an accelerated memory loss issue coming up.

  32. Oooh damn, even if there are lot of harsh events in this drama, I can’t say how or why, but the father suffering from maltreatment in prison hurts me so much. He’s alone, no one can help him.

  33. Great snippet of music when we see dad seohyuk in hospital ed. Then sort of black comedy scene in bathhouse. Moving so quickly into father and daughter at the office…

  34. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@WE, yes, the father has this woebegone look and manner that really affects us viewers. I feel so sorry for him too.

Then we get the scene at the car junk yard … a cute ploy, but again …

  35. Junkyard, the bad cop is about to be killed. I don’t remember exactly why. Humm, he betrayed? Anyway, we go into this scene. I find the resolution quite cheap and unbelievelable, in mode “A-Team” everything so easy. But I won’t complaint really about that, it’s common in kdramas.

  36. Dong Ho made up his mind to help JW in this trial, I hope he stays true to it and don’t change course halfway.

  37. The good judge is replaced. INJUSTICE !!!!!!!!

  38. The new judge is a jerk and work against them.
    ARRAAAHHHHH!!!!!

  39. The “like-father” hyungnim of Dong-Ho is just a bastard. We can call that “toxic relationship”, even if I don’t like this overused expression often for wrong reasons.

  40. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

Poor JW and his dad meets his end. Again in court, JW cries beautifully.

  41. The bad cop betrays; ARGH.
But his killing was simulated, then??

  42. I like that In Ah always has the support from her father.

  43. Det.Kwak suborned.

It is as if the writer made sure to collect all possible ways in which justice could/has been obstructed and slammed us with them all at once. It is operatic melodrama.
But sort of scary to wonder how even this imaginary scenario could be taken seriously by viewers.
Is this a trope or a reflection of the bad old days? In the US during certain decades in the 19thC…and we still remember…

  44. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@WE, yes the bad cop still bit the hand that saved him. He pops up over and over again.

Yes the killing attempt was a ruse.

The verdict still does not change.

  45. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@FF, In Ah’s father is one of the best fathers in kdramas.

One father comes to listen to her… another father is lost.

  46. It’s horrible, the father died from the bad threatment he got in prison.

  47. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

Dong Ho prefers the funeral wake to the grand celebration for NGM.

  48. @IF, alas, it doesn’t even top reality.
Depending in which country you live.

  49. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

Don’t we just know that when an episode heaps on happy scenes, it’s just before something bad happens to the lead?

  50. The detective betrayed JW again, I think JW is too naive he believes that the bad people will turn over a new leave and mend their ways. But no never, the badies will stay bad.

  51. @GB, it’s almost a drama rule: anyone should be worried when something happy comes to early. 🙂

  52. Seo Jin Hyuk passed on before the re-trail is completed. Will there still be a case?

  53. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

    @FF Det Gwak/Kwak is such a disappointment.

  54. No cliffhanger, it ends on an emotional peak instead.

  55. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@WE, yes, it is a drama rule … that’s generally always the way before a break up or death or amnesia, the main characters will be happy. Happiness in these melo kinds of dramas are bad news!!!

  56. I feel so defeated watching how the trial and re-trial unfolds.

  57. When DongHo apologizes to JinWoo at the funeral hall we dont even need a series of flashbacks to underline the myriad reasons why his regrets arent going to cut it and yet, his apology means something in the emotional long run. Less karma. I guess.

  58. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@FF, I don’t know if courts ever posthumously do retrial. They might, so that a person’s name is cleared.

  59. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@FF Truth to tell, I didn’t want to rewatch this because of this repeated twist into defeat. So much effort and nothing to show for it, except a few friends.

  60. JW still looks so much like a boy when he rants at DH, his tears are dripping all over.

  61. Wait. We are only at ep10? and the audience knows that barring truly aysmal viewing numbers, this drama will continue.
A headscratcher for the couch-jury and us — how will the drama writer make the drama continue, right?

  62. @GB, you have said it so aptly … repeated twist into defeat! Yes, that is the plot of this drama yet I want to know how JW will end up and so I continue watching.

  63. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@FF Actually JW really is young. It’s sad though that his whole life is just focused on one thing and in that, he is thwarted at every turn.

  64. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@IB, we watch and see what other twists the plot will make.

  65. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@FF, once we’re invested in JW, we will watch until the bitter end …

  66. @GB, lol … yes because of JW.

  67. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

Bye Everyone! I’m off to complete watching another episode of another show now!

  68. I’ve to go now. I wish you all a good week.

  69. Have a good week, @WE, @FF and @GB. Be good.

Forgot to wave goodbye earlier, sorry!
