Thanks for this thread @pml3…
It’s been a strange week with me losing my voice followed by my husband needing a more thorough check up and observation in the hospital for 3 days/2 nights. I totally didn’t register it was Friday the 13th or that for me it’s St Val’s Day until later.
I’ve been getting Chinese New Year goodies and food and even forgot an important ingredient!!! I should gather my few bits of brains and remember to come by for the party tonight!!
Happy Valentine’s Day!!!

Oh dear! I am sorry you have been in such a crisis. Best wishes for health for both of you! See you in a bit.
Hi here.
First, damn bad luck. I hope you get better and your husband too, GB.
Else, I’m enthousiastic to share this!

The photo-teaser I made for W2, turned into a video.
It looks so real.
I did that as a break with AI pictures, as I completed 3 episodes on 12 now.
Thanks @IB and @WE.
Let’s start NOW!!
Congrats @WE! I’ll take a look at it later. I know that AI can generate lots of realistic stuff.
So sad about Jin Woo… the shock of knowing that Park’s father was the one who crashed into his father’s car brought on memory loss of the most recent events.
Poor In Ah…
@GB, it’s just 15 secondes, generation is limited. I tried with Grok Imagine, but it failed. With Kling, I can give a start image and a end image, and the character is faithful. I could maybe use that for a trailer, someday.
Now, we are at the aftershock of In Ha discovering how much Jin-Woo is sick.
Eek, I am a little late, will start at the 906 mark
@WE, I watched it multiple times to catch what our AI Jong Suk was saying. The ending can be changed a bit and it will make a good trailer!
Hi @IB, In Ah notes that so many bad things happen to JW over and over again. She cannot really help him… that’s the saddest part for her.
Hi IF.
Guy Man should fail to make JinWoo and DongHo enemis.
@GB
I liked what In Ah’s Dad said — to accept yr friends’ misfortunes as part of your friendship (dont know if I have got that right)
@GB, I would need to put subtitles, but I need to install a different video editor for that (I used a very simple and fast one, just to add the background music).
I like so many scenes in this ep — Jang Suk kyu (the judge) at at table with Seo Beom and GYU;
I find myself watching who drinks to the side as a deference point very precisely in so many eating scenes.
@GB, there is still a big mystery about this video teaser. I’ve no idea how AI did the same voice as Lee Jung-Suk. I didn’t upload any audio, I didn’t mention the name of the actor, or mention any detail, just uploaded 2 photos, nothing else.
@IB, my subs for In Ha’s father’s words was that the disease was part of the person.
Oh I like what the good Judge tells NGM that as a friend one should not cover up the tracks of his guilty friend.
Oh, the piano music during the Guy-Man diner. I know it by heart, by can’t remember the musician. I think it’s Chopin, isn’t it?
@WE, I guess it’s enough nowadays for the AI to see a photo and then to match and find the person then to look for the voice files to copy. I believe that deep fake started some years back so it’s getting better and better now.
@WE was there music during dinner? I only saw NGM, Seo Beom and the good judge eating. No music?
Private dinner of protak. moosuk and namilho. Although I love the gray characters more, still Pro Tak’s straight up refusal in the face of Moo Suk and Nam IlHo was so heartening. He drank to the side, but going any further was too much to take. Bravo!
Pro taks’ delicious rice-soup while eating with Dongho. Even better with a side of revenge against Namilho.
@IB I like that Pro Tak paid for his drink. However… I think in the end he may have turned. I seem to remember that I was disappointed.
Attorney Song has a hard time in court. But he gets better as he warms up.
The bright spark in the episode is having Attorney Song succeed to reduce the sentence of his client.
Dear Att. Song. I loved to laugh at him, but so glad for his triumph.
@GB, the music happened at start of scene, before the flashback, then after, it’s just a drama background music. Sorry, you’ll need to rewind to find it. 😉
As situation evoluate badly, president Il-Ho try to corrupt new people, like the brave prosecutor TAK. BUT, he’s not interested. He can’t eat anymore so much he’s disgusted. AHAHA. He don’t want to be a dog, a way to say his previous chief was a dog. He even pay for the meal that he doesn’t it. GOSH.
Now the throttling of Seo Beom. Why? Because he refused a request of GyuMan.
His reason seemed to be that he would bend the rules for his friend, gyuman, but not for another person.
Gyuman’s request is degrading because it takes the private relationship and makes it one that can be shared with another, degrading him, treating him like a servant.
But good for Seo Beom for standing up foer himself!
I guess there is a “character change” for the avocate who sutter (it’s SONG ?), so finally he will stop to ssuu-su-suuuu–su-su-suuuhtt-sutter.
AND THEN… He becomes an aaaaamazing lawyer.
I didn’t check, but the change happen because he’s related personnaly to the case? (I don’t remember how).
@IB finally SB has had enough and wants out enough to talk about it openly. The beginning of the end for GM.
@WE, Attorney Song just had to keep practising until he could stand in court and speak without stuttering so much. He finally managed it quite well.
I love the little meetups for snacks of Seo Beom and DonghHo’s aide. They gripe together. SEo Beom doesnt really mean it, to break with gyuman, but he starts to imagine it.
So, scenario logic: of course the guy who was with Guy-Man on the video. Something to exploit now. Yet, I totally forgot that, and I’m still surprised. Good job, writer. 🙂
@IB, SB has kept the real murder weapon with GM’s fingerprints and blood of Jung Ah on it. He obviously knows he needs a backup plan with evidence in case of what’s happening now and he wants out.
GyuMan giving a little extra on top of the money for seo Beom’s mom (now we know why the relationship is as it is — Seo Beom suffers for her sake).
A little money, an apology, ‘you are my only real friend’ there it is. Manipulation as a habit.
Now it’s time for Dong Ho to say goodbye to Il Joo. That old man caused DH a lot of trouble and JW too. The whole mess was because he stepped in to work for Nam and dragged DH with him.
Soo Bum has really enough. I think he made his last effort to remain a “friend” for Gyu Man. While Guy Man treated him like a “pauper guy”. Damn, the line was good, we could feel how it hits.
“since there will be blood, how can I wear white clothing” and the violins of destiny. All the cowboys going out to the corral…
(DongHo to sidekick when he, oh joy, remarks that he has never seen DongHo in a black suit).
Il Joo is to get out of prison on condition he kills Park Dong Ho. Kill or be abandoned. The next lot of tension is whether he can do it or not. I know how it turned out a few times.
@IB DH still has all the evidence and reports to use against the Nams.
Oh, I’m a bit late, as at 43:00, I get the line “you are my only friend” + some money. ^^
Biané, biané, let’s drink.
“Hyungnim, anything you say, my arrow already fly toward president Il-Ho”.
Aahh damn-it, lines are so goooooooood.
Party with drugs in their drinks. GM hears that JW even bothered his friend about the death of Jung Ah. He loses his temper so the party is spoilt and then the prosecutors come in.
@WE, yes the dialogue is quite memorable from time to time.
@IB I wonder how the Nam sister managed to get in as prosecutor since her boss told her to stay out of it. Unfortunately she lets her brother go.
What a great dual ending. Park Doingho my hero, infront of Namilho — “I can no longer bow my head before the enemy who instigated my father’s death….pause.. Because I am a son.” Yayyy!!!
And the the clever change of clothing when gyu man is almost caught — the rat sneaks out in seo beom snazzy checked cotton coat and drives away with his trademark smirk. Still a lot of fun as a villain.
@IB… yes, the title now makes more sense. The War of the Son. finally the other son is taking up the bow and shooting the arrows.
Guy Man take drink with drugs with his drugged “friend”. 😀
Such a satisfying episode. It has it all: laughter, tears, dramatic action, a proper high-life party, snacks with friends and the best table manners scenes with enemies.
AAhahha, they end to fights, so much GUy Man is crazy and insult anyone, even this “friend”. It smells the FAAAALLLLLLL.
I miss @feifei and @snow flower.
Happy valentines day to all, those who are about to go to bed and those about to celebrate.
Bye, @GB and @WE, see you next week.
AaaAAAhh, shit, Sum Bum in the car, not Guy Man.
GASPPPPPPP. But still, at least Dong-Ho broke his relationship with Hil Ho.
