I prowled around the internet and looked for trivia on Chun Myung Yung. (I’m sure I just mangled his name but oh well… I’ll edit later.)  I was surprised when @curiousyeh wrote that his baptized name is Constantino.

I don’t consider Constantino (or Constantine the Great) a saint but he is credited for doing two marvelous deeds in Christian history. One, he united the whole of the Roman Empire (which was THE Western civilization) under one Christian God and ended the persecution of Christians in the empire in the 4th century. Two, he relocated the center of the vast Empire from Rome to a town called Byzantium in the border between Asia and Turkey. He built up the place into a grand city and named it Constantinople. (It’s only in the 1920s when Constantinople was renamed Istanbul.)

So, what he reunited, he essentially split up again. lol. There was the western half of the Empire which spoke Latin and considered Roman Catholic and then there was the eastern half that spoke Greek and was considered Eastern Orthodox. But although the language and the traditions may vary, they worship the same God.

Anyway, that’s the background history of CJM’s name Constantino. He looks so nice that it’s hard to imagine him as a conqueror and a emperor like his namesake.

In May 2014, it was confirmed that he dated his 22-year-old civilian girlfriend for about a month. The couple was caught on camera on a date, arms linked, and both acquaintances of the couple and Chun Jung Myung’s agency have confirmed that they are indeed in a relationship. According to sources, Chun Jung Myung met his ex-girlfriend at a meeting with friends and fell for her mature, kind, and understanding personality. His ex-girlfriend, who worked in the fashion industry at the time, was revealed to have fallen for Chun Jung Myung’s tough but sweet character. Ultimately, a week later, the news created too much pressure for the very new relationship and they decided not to date anymore.
The actor also once confessed that his ex-girlfriend’s father was the leader of a mafia. He got beat up pretty badly when the parents found out that he was hanging out at her house.

Netflix calls the variety show “Knowing Brothers” on its site but I don’t think it carries all the episodes.
