This is just a quick note because I’ve to rush out.
I know many of us here are frustrated with Suzy’s ditzy character. But we have to remember that just because a) she’s ditzy and b) her cover as NIS agent was blown, her appearance of ineptness does NOT mean that she isn’t a double agent.
Because I think she is.
She’s working for NIS where she’s known as Go Haeri. The director calls her Go Haeri on the phone.
The other bureau chief (that one who sent her to Portugal and owes her a favor) knows her as Go Haeri, too.
But she’s working for another group where she is known simply by her alias, Elsa.
lol. She definitely wasn’t talking to her mom or her colleagues at NIS then.
Who is she working for? That’s the mystery here.
However, I don’t think she’s a member of the evil Axis group because her colleague doesn’t recognize her. He had Raymon investigate her apartment while he led Haeri out to visit Dalgun in jail.
Also, Raymon was ready to kill her when she entered her apartment.
See that?
So don’t count our dear Suzy out of the game just yet. Behind that ditzyness, there might very well be a devious mind.

Yeah I got the vibe that she was just supposed to play dumb and naive (it’s just a front). That her alter ego is undercover slick agent who can handle everything thrown at her? I need her to convince me that she is just that though? So far I am getting the ditzy but she is missing the subtle menace that is required for her alter ego. I can buy her as cute and even sexy…but she’s missing a bit of sass and malevolence…she needs to take a few pointers from Scarlett Johansson. Hopefully as the story unfolds, she will reveal other sides of her character and ease into it a bit better.
I’d make myself believe there’s more to Haeri/whoever-her-name-later-if-any than what appear so far up to ep 2. I mean we just started, we still have like 14 (18 or 22?) more episodes. That’s why I refrain from form whatever about suzy’s character here, I’m opened, would let myself be patieeeeeeeence for when it happen! IF, worst case happens and the writer make her character indeed sucks, I can always count on you to write my %€_¥£>\@ in more appropriate way, in this blog ofc hahaha or I can cast online voodoo spell to the writer, PD or production team..
Ah yes, thank you for reminding me she’s also Elsa.. maybe it’s an alias or code name for Haeri, and it’s also explaining why sometimes her character don’t show much emotions. What do you expect from Ice Queen?!? (Idina Menzel’s “let it go” playing on the background.. don’t forget frozen 2 is coming soon this November 😉)

Ah yes, Elsa. Totally forgot about that other name of hers. I have to agree with @nrllee , she’s missing that spunk for Elsa. Anyway let’s wait and see. 😊
