Bitch Talk: “Season 2, please” and Other Useless Comments

@snowflower had me laughing at her snarky comment here:

Many times the phrase “Great chemistry!” is followed by “Season 2, please!” even when the main character(s) is (are) killed off. So annoying…

So let me make a list here of my top 10 annoying comments found on Youtube, mydramalist, viki, etc. Feel free to add yours.

*******************

1. “Great chemistry!”
2. “Season 2, please.”
3. “First!”

I really don’t get this comment. I don’t see the point of bragging to everybody that you don’t have a life but to hang around and write “First!” And if you really want to toot your horn that you’re first to comment, try at least to be unique and say something like, “X Æ A-12 is in the house.” or “Hi, your stripper is here.”

(Pssst. X Æ A-12 is Elon Musk’s baby.)

4. “When are the subs up?”

This one is most prevalent in the viki site. I understand that viewers are excited about a new drama, but some of the posts are downright rude.

5. “Who else is watching this in (name that year)?”

This comment is seeking attention, and NOT paying attention to the drama. Please say something about the plot, character, the drama.

6. This 2017 meme ⬇️ It’s getting old.

No one:
Literally no one:
Me: Get the hell out of the comment section if you have nothing to say.

7. “Huhuhu. Why is the rating for this drama so low? 😭”
Its variations are “Why is this drama is underrated?” “Please give this drama some more love.”

Have we become so insecure with our taste that we need validation from polls? Who cares if nobody likes your drama? If you like it, you like it.

8. “OMG! My feels!” or “OMG! I’m shook.”

If you’re older than 16 years old, you have no business talking like this.

9. “I’ve been watching kdramas for 100000 years and this is simply the best drama I’ve ever seen. I recommend it.”

Please stay on point. Being a long-time drama viewer doesn’t automatically give anyone a merit badge. I want to know what is it about the drama that makes it highly recommended. Please enlighten me, Oh Wise and Ancient One!

10. “Oppa, saranghae!!”

One thought comes to mind whenever I read this,  “Weirdo, kkeo jyeo!”

16 Comments On “Bitch Talk: “Season 2, please” and Other Useless Comments”

  1. “I wish this drama would go on forever!”

  2. …feels…🤣. I’m shooketh (daughter dear uses this phrase).

Me – Did you know “amazeballs” was officially added to the Oxford UK dictionary?
Daughter – Does that mean I can use it in my English essay?
    Me – 🙄🤔

  3. “The ending is bad because oppa died.” I often see comments like this even if a tragic ending makes perfect sense.

  4. Love this especially the FIRST and OPPA, SARANGHAE! 😂

What about ‘best OTP ever!’ ? 😁

  5. Oppa, saranghae!!

I don’t know 🤷‍♀️ why fangirls confess like that on Youtube. 😂

  6. As if the Oppa will hear them and say saranghae back? 🤦🏻‍♀️😂

But yeah it can get crazy with the fans. 😁

  7. A few weeks ago, my son told me that he was going to “scoop” me.

    Scoop? What scoop? 🤷‍♀️

He said that scoop is slang for pick up.

He was going to pick me up so I didn’t have to drive the car myself.

I said thank you, I’m not poop. He should “scoop” dog’s poop. Not his beloved mom. 😂😂

  8. @packmule3 😂. I find endless entertainment in slang words or words of the month. I recall one time when “random” was the word of the month amongst my teenage children. Everything was “random”…even when it wasn’t 🤣.

    @SnowFlower 🤣.

  9. Have you been watching 2D1N season 4?

Do you remember that moon face guy I disliked in 100 Days, My Prince? The one with the prosopagnosia.

He’s one of the new members on 2D1N. 😂😂 I’m sorry, but I still don’t like him. He’s bland as toast.

  10. @packmule3 no I stopped after the fallout from the Jung JeongYung and “golf gambling“ scandal 🙄. They were exonerated by the way. But the damage was done. It was never the same. I saw that MoonFace was cast but didn’t think to start watching.

  11. Aigoo, the fun you put in a post, @packmule3 🤣🤣🤣

I saw that ‘year’ comment mostly whenever I tuned in to MVs in YT. 😅

  12. @ Miracle23,

There are also useless comments unique and particular to Hospital Playlist.

    Example:

    Jang is soooo beautiful.
    Jang is love.
    When is Jang getting married?

And the “age = wisdom” example was referring to one of the WGers who tried to post here using her “Senior Citizen” card. Whatever.

  13. I have seen the worst in Twitter too, @packmule3. All I can say here, those are showing lack of intelligent, desperation, provocative and deprave. To be doing all that in the name of having fun? Joke? You don’t do that to any person, either you know or you don’t even know, to shame the actors in public space. The shameful comments, *sigh*. I don’t know what is going on in the minds of kids these days.

I don’t go to youtube except for specific contents or songs. Jang nugu? She ain’t the band member, right? What kind of substantive contents would she has? Probably none. The comments most probably incoherent too. I don’t wanna waste my time watching videos of an almost 30 y.o. female begging a man, who ignored her and lied to her, for affection. Lame. 🤷‍♀️ Stay by my side besides God on replay? No thanks. It ain’t even a courageous thing to be asking that of him. It is stupid. What a joke!

The memorable HP contents I can watch anytime are of the band practise, or of Shwa, Yunbok, Minha, Bae and that cute ER nurse. At least the girls did their job well and not demanding things they know it’s not in their place to demand 😏.

  14. HAHAHAHA! I laughed at all of these! Especially the “First” comment. I never understand why people comment that lol

  15. To give credit to our wonderful Bitches here, none of you have posted “First!!!” on the blog.

But I wouldn’t put it past you, smarty-pants (cough cough, John_L), to think of an alternative. 😈😂

  16. There is also the comment about the ratings.
Not for information, but to encourage people to look because “woo, the ratings are good”.
“Everyone watch! Our favorite drama has good ratings!”.
And if the ratings are bad, it’s not a problem.
Just tamper with the numbers, or find the numbers where the ratings are better (Netflix for example), or at a different date, or a different place.
Sometimes this kind of comments can get out of hand and become huge textpads.
