  1. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

Hi @pkml3, thanks for pushing up the opening of this thread. I’ll be back for the party tomorrow, however I’ve decided to ‘be quiet’ next week, as it’s Holy Week. So I’ll be back in Easter week on all the threads and for the re-watch party on the Saturday the 10 April. See ya!!

  2. Let’s do that. We can postpone next week’s rewatch (April 3) for the following week (April 10).

I’ve been working on posts for release during Holy Week. They should automatically upload.

  3. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

That’s great @pkml3! So you’re getting all your posts done now? Good idea. Then you can have the time to observe Holy Week properly. I feel I haven’t done much for Lent. So I should make my next week holier at least!!

  4. I second the motion! I am also planning to have a quiet Holy Week, take time off from work and do some spring planting.

  5. Does anyone have favourite films or dramas to coincide with Holy Week? With a religious theme or not – just curious what is out there.

  6. Sorry, I can’t be here tomorrow, IRL imperative. I’m late on sisyphus too, I didn’t have time to watch ep12, and won’t have time before next week.
Good Start-up all of you!! 😉

  7. Hey Ladies and Gentz!

    I will be online tomorrow!

Our Easters have a big difference this Year. Ours is in May the Second.

I totally understand you about the quiet Holy Week! So, I will follow your lead!

@Fern: Jesus of Nazareth is an old time classic.

    @WEnchanteur see you around!

  8. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

Take care @WEnchanteur! We hope to see you back here before too long.

Hey @Cleo! So interesting that our Easters follow different calendars. I was shown how Easter was calculated based on the Gregorian calendar and the solar-lunar cycles, but while I know it in ‘words’, I struggle to get it in calculation. It will be the first Sunday after the full moon that comes after the vernal equinox – such a mouthful! see you in 15 hours time!

  9. @Cleo, Ευχαριστώ πολύ. I will look for Jesus of Nazareth. Have a lovely weekend.

  10. Παρακαλώ @Fern!

@GB, Yes it is a bit weird.

    I am here! 🙂

  11. Hi everyone,

    I’m here 🙂 how’s everyone’s week?

  12. Hey @Ella!

All is good in our part of the world. How was your week?

  13. It’s been a busy week at work but all good. Shall we start?

  14. I haven’t seen online @Packmule3, @GB and @Diane…

I do hope they will be online shortly…

  15. I’m here!!

  16. Hi Everyone! Hope you are all safe and having a great weekend so far. Work week was hell and I was still working until late this afternoon prepping for a big production release before the holy week/holidays. SU rewatch party is my break. So I’m happy now. =)

  17. Hey @Packmule3 and @Diane!

  18. This episode is hard to watch so I’m trying to be upbeat.

@ Diane! You should be giving hell at work! 😂

  19. Hello 👋 and good morning from this side of the world!!!

  20. I’m here posting on other threads but I’m here now.

  21. @Packmule3 So very true!

  22. Hey @Janey! 🙂

  23. @packmule3

agree this episode is hard to watch, i mostly only replaying the beginning happy scenes

  24. Alex’ smile looks so evil here as Dosan and Dalmi are signing the contracts. I wonder if Dalmi noticed that diff pens were given to them. Even the handshake was a bit off since it was extended to Dosan first.

With all the fuss (running and all) done by JP it’s so weird he didn’t connect with Dalmi and it took a few days before they figured out about the acquihiring.

  25. JP tried to stop the contract signing but he was too late…

  26. Acquire is the title of the Series today!

  27. Acq hiring.

I want to skip this segment bec I don’t want to look at JP.

  28. @Diane,

you are so right about the different pens…

  29. Conversations between Dosan and his mom are so cute and funny. I really love Mrs Nam and her 30-50-70 rule!

  30. This 2STO guy is also in River Where the Moon Rises. He’s supposed to play a “good” monk but because of Start-Up, I’m waiting for him to back stab everybody in the story.

  31. DoSan’s mom is the best!

“You can be pretty slow” LMAO!

    How to notice a signal?

  32. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

Hi All, just had a quick nap and I’m here!

  33. Hey @GB!

    @Diane I laughed so hard!

  34. @Packmule3 I am not watching the River Where The Moon Rises.
    You are talking about Alex?

  35. Hi everyone..finally I could join the rewatch.. been missing start up lately..

  36. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

The mum-DS conversation gets me rolling on the floor laughing each time.

Loved how he obediently took off his jacket only to be hit so hard LOL.

  37. Oh the joys of talking for hours until the wee hours with your bf!

Good thing Dalmi thought of recording their call before falling asleep.

  38. If DalMi you knew what 2ΣΤΟ wants…
    You woudn’t be that grateful!

  39. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

    Hi @moonstar512!

How much would it cost to speak on the mobile the whole night? Did DM never switch off her phone? LOL

  40. Yes Alex is the monk in River when the moon rises…!

  41. DalMi-ya…

  42. Lol. My brothers always tell the younger generation in our family never to underestimate the power of ignorance, naivety and idealism in start up businesses.

If these newbies like Dosan and Dalmi knew what they were signing up for, they would have backed out. But because they were ignorant and naive, they were pushed to go farther than they would have thought they were capable of.

And their idealism made sure they’d survive the journey. If they were cynics like JP, they wouldn’t have lasted.

  43. Thank you @moonstar512 and welcome on board!

  44. Dosan so cute acting like he was just passing by and that it was a coincidence. ❤️

Saha and the two cockroaches. LOL!

  45. DoSan saying a lie with a kinda straight face! LMAO!

  46. Yes. Alex was the monk there.

I keep forgetting his name is Alex. After Start Up, I just think of him as that duplicitous, deceitful, double-faced, double-dealing guy. 😂

  47. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

Yah, sure there’s an English class near DM’s place LOL.

Hah! 50% chance that she likes him, what a cute nerdy thing to need it all in quantitative terms.

  48. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

LOL the cockroaches with arm hair that can stand on end.

Here’s the clearer sign that SH is no longer indifferent towards Chul San.

  49. Oh hi 🙋‍♀️ moonstar!

    Better late than never!

The mom’s conversation — look, if she wasn’t Dosan’s mom here, I’d say that she’s shady, as shady as that shaman.

The difference is she wasn’t demanding any recompense for her advice.

  50. And here DalMi will find out the hard truth…

  51. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

In Jae always sounds so resentful and unable to say anything positive towards DM. However I feel at this stage, she was already becoming more honest towards DM.

  52. @packmule3

I really like what your brother is saying, thank you for sharing

Startup is about youth, dreaming high, making mistakes, fall down and get up again with that spirit.

  53. This is weird. Why did it take Dosan and Saha to go up the office that long. Considering Dalmi spoke with her sister first before talking to Alex (Haha this is me nitpicking sorry). And for Alex to look bubbly and happy after breaking the bad news you will really feel he is the bad guy here.

  54. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

DS gets angry with YS for not believing JP.

The reason: “He always dumps on us!”
(Which is true. If JP had given constructive criticism and advice in a more diplomatic way, they would have listened to him. It was JP’s arrogance and refusal to be respectful towards others that contributed towards YS’s brother’s suicide and YS’s rejection of his advice.)

  55. And where was JP all this time? Hiding in his office…

Alex is lying behind his teeth.

  56. Here’s the painful part now… after the high of winning, the reality of acquisition is here.
I’m surprised none of his friends told Dosan about JP’s reaction. Or they probably tried but he was on the phone with DM the whole evening.

  57. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@Cleo, JP had failed in his job as mentor. Instead of being nearby to advise earlier, he’d been hiding himself away.

  58. 🙂😂

She was frustrated with him. First, he preferred to spend his birthday with the guys than with Dalmi. It wasn’t even a trick question! It’s a no brainer that when THE girl wants to see him on his birthday, he should spend it with her. 🙂

And then in the text chat, he didn’t get that Dalmi wanted to talk to him. 😂

Yes, if I had a son like Dosan, I’d be frustrated too. But I probably wouldn’t have hit him.

  59. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

At least In Jae was not being all victorious over the downfall of SST. She told her people off for being so smug.

  60. @Ella that’s what Nam Joo Hyuk the actor that played Dosan said about youth too! It’s about making mistakes, fall down and get up again.. and I super agree on that too..

  61. The black and white striped shirt of the guy from Injae’s team, Dosan was wearing it in the earlier episodes. LOL! The prod team made a mistake on the wardrobe. (Sorry me nitpicking again just like JP)

  62. @GB, I agree.

  63. alex is so shady, his goal is clear from the start he’s after Dosan and willing to do anything to get him.

  64. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@pkml3, I loved how that mum waited patiently for him to take off his jacket so that she could hit him… so typical of frustrated Korean mums.

  65. I like how Dosan’s mom kicked that box on her way out of Dosan’s room.

  66. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@Ella, yes, Alex is totally loyal to 2STO and will do whatever it takes to get the people he wants, including lying to smooth the way. However, he was fair in getting the 3 billion and a contract that otherwise was good. He just didn’t keep the promises that he gave verbally. It was the job of SST to review the written contract properly before signing.

  67. To be fair before JP entered the room he looked worried and all so I think he feels bad for the team. But in front of the SST team he was honest, cold and blunt in sharing the news and his thoughts about what happened. He could have at least showed empathy. No wonder Dosan was so mad!

  68. And now JP and DoSan will kick each other’s us a**es…

  69. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

DS and JP have the fight that they should have had ages ago. It finally cleared the air in one respect.

The only one who apologises for the big gaff is CS for not listening to JP.

In Jae looks in on SST with an inscrutable look on her face … she looks at her sister. She would later think of this before hiring DM.

  70. I remember all the hate Dosan received when this ep first aired. That he is violent and its a red flag. Even I got a lot of hate comments from friends bec they were all team JP!

On a lighter note, the memes about this fight scene on social media is also funny. The sounds they were making while punching each other sounded like snakes hissing. LOL!

  71. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

Now that JP finally knows about Grandma going blind he goes to see her.

He admits that “It was my fault”
She keeps calling him Good Boy. I’m pretty irritated that she does, actually. So is JP.

“Stop calling me that. I’m not a good boy. Grandma, you completely misjudged me. I’m a jerk who hurts other people with harsh words. I pretend to be the smartest in the world, but in reality, I’m just an idiot who knows nothing. (He cries) I’m not a good boy.” (At least he’s clear about what a jerk he is, not that he ever really changed for the better.)

He finally embraces Grandma and cries and apologises after all this time.

  72. JP said there’s no point in blaming each other and the proceeded to say blame yourselves for not looking at the contract.
Arghh… yup, rub it in more.

  73. @GB,

That is the beginning of the turning point for JP.

I like that scene, that he finally apologised…

  74. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@Cleo JP changed only a bit with regard to DM and Grandma, however he was still not good towards DS.

  75. To be fair, JP (KSH acted well here). And yes, this was his turning point. When he realized and admitted all his fault. It was really halmeoni that he loves and need in his life not Dalmi.

  76. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

From having 2 iced vanilla lattes, SH has moved into sharing the one latte with CS. LOL.

  77. I did not like the fight scene but as @GB said, it’s a long time coming.

  78. @Diane, I agree with KSH’s acting was really good. I mean here you could see the person clearly.

    @GB,

He will try and save Noongil with DS. Also, he might be not good towards DS when he will return back but he will be one who will to DoSan that DalMi really loves him.

  79. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

Here we see the pragmatism of females, I too would be like SH and DM, I’d cut my losses and move on with all that money and opportunity, rather than cling on to a company that had no investors (or only 1).

I like that DM takes the opportunity to talk to JP and get his advice.

She honestly realises that he’s hurt her not never but 3 times +++ LOL. But she’s prepared to take it and learn and move on.

  80. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@Cleo, yes, ultimately, unwillingly, he will be honest and objective towards DS and DM too.

  81. @Diane

I see these people being mad about who threw the first punch just like those angry parents we encounter so many times in kdrama, parents of bully who were indignant, loud and rioting asking for justice only because their son’s victim finally had enough and decided to fight back.

  82. @GB,

That’s why JP is redeeming himself.

  83. when i see this scene again of JP and Halmoni.. I think this is the only scene where JP really speak out loud about his truly self.

And he said sorry to Dalmi too later.. which again sadly Dalmi said they needed to hear that.

So, being resilient is = accepting the harsh words that said to us .. hmm..

  84. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

DS home after the fight. Looks at the photo of Park Chan Ho and himself.

DS recalls how his parents were so proud and boasting about him.
Park asked DS about his dream, but DS’s father whispered the approved ‘dream’ that he should have. So Park Chan Ho changed the words to “Follow your dream.”

We hear the end of the telephone conversation that DM slept through.
DS: “I used to be confused about the word, “dream” written on it. So I was lost for a long time. But the moment I first saw you, my dream became clear. Thank you for that.”

So he was always clear that his dream was a person … but that was the problem … DM noticed and that’s why she broke up with him. A dream should not end with a person (anything could happen to a person), but encompass the person in a wider, more long-term perspective.

  85. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

Oh dear,… the saddest birthday ever for DS… he didn’t even remember it was his birthday. If he’d paid attention and seen that DM was extra pretty, he would have said 70%!! So sad he missed even that.

  86. @GB,

I agree with @Packmule3 here though, they would have a long distance relationship. What happened really hurt DalMi’s pride.

She shouldn’t say those harsh words to him, especially in his birthday!

  87. You’re right, @Ella. That’s an appropriate comparison.

The thing with JP is that he could be honest but the words and the way he says things matter, especially when giving feedback. As a mentor, he failed on this area many times.

Unfortunately, females have been tolerant and “resilient” to his ways and indirectly became enablers – Dalmi, Ms Yoon, and grandma.

  88. @moonstar512

There are many aspects to it, at first Dalmi accepted jp’s brand of mentoring because Dosan told her jp was like his older brother.
and after the truth revealed, she was apprehensive because jp turned out to be the letter writer so she gave him further leeway. And the end she was just tired and defeated as we see later on.

  89. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

I feel that in the beginning of the birthday meeting, she did not intend to break up, but DS kept on and on not letting go of going for a lawsuit. When she pointed out the 1 in 10 million chance he had been given, he still ignored that, and said to him the 1 in 10 mil chance of 2 people meeting was equally or more important to him.

I guess DM had no choice then but to force him to take the opportunity instead of wasting it for a person. He was emotional and immature about it. She always was more mature.

  90. Yes.

But to tell you the truth, I would have answered Dalmi’s question the same way as Dosan: by text.

    “Are you still awake?”
“Yes. I’m still working. What’s up?”

I wouldn’t have thought of calling her up. 😂

  91. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

Poor DS says: “Are you breaking up with me?”
DM: “We shouldn’t be unreasonable and hold on to an illusion.”

    A few different illusions:
    1) Illusion that she had liked him because she had thought he was Do San of the letters,
    2) and the illusion that they could win a lawsuit.
    3) The illusion that they were actually dating when it wasn’t official.
    4) The illusion that things would be the same if they stayed in S. Korea and continued as if things were normal.

  92. I think DM was willing to have a LDR but DS was adamant on keeping the team together and fight 2STO. Hence she had to say those harsh words to him and no choice but to break up. Bother need to grow.

The break up was well acted. Dosan battered and bruised physically and emotionally. So sad…

  93. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

DM could no longer look DS in the eye: “We should accept reality. We’re not kids anymore. We can’t dream forever, can we?”

She seems to be saying that the dream referred to on the ball … she knows it means she is the dream to him … and she does not want to be his dream that limits him.

  94. Awww our poor boy! Saddest birthday everrrrr!!!

  95. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@Janey, yes Show really gave us the best psychological moment for the breakup… DS was looking so pathetic, it was his birthday, DM walked away and it rained on him. LOL… Poor sad, wet puppy.

  96. I get why Grandma’s calling him “Good boy!” It’s positive reinforcement.

But what I’m irritated me here is that I knew JP’s fans would perceive this as an assessment of JP’s character when it’s not.

Positive reinforcement means the Grandma believed that he had the POTENTIAL to be a good boy, but it’s not an ACTUALITY yet. He still had to strive to achieve it.

And that’s why JP resented this nickname. Because it imposed a burden on him to BECOME a good boy when he didn’t particularly feel like a good boy and he didn’t want to become a good boy.

He wasn’t a good boy yet. Not by a long shot.

  97. For Dalmi to make that sacrifice, the love is pure and real.

  98. @GB Ah, I like what you said that ‘A dream shd not end with a person but encompass the person in a wider, long term perspective’ Lol, males are always almost slower to mature than females in the younger adult years 🙂

  99. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

CS asks DS to please not let them be remembered as failures. DS realises that being part of the company is more than just having what he wants, at any cost. He has to think about what the other guys need and want as well. DS has to grow up slowly. He cannot follow his own dream at the expense of the others either.

  100. Ahhh yes Ella you’re right.. it’s a progress for DM too..

And GB.. but DM said that she tried to “end it” in a nice place.. I think she has been decided to break up with Dosan since the night when she listened to Dosan’s definition of Dream. But still.. i still wish in an alternate universe, they just could talk about it and try to do LDR instead haha

  101. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

I agree @pkml3 and I was so irritated on JP’s behalf LOL. I’d hate to be called better than I am, aspiration or not. Yes a burden and a constant nagging reminder that I’m not there yet!

  102. Dalmi was crying at a bus stop while the director zooms in at the poster that said: “Please don’t cry for me.”

  103. Initially I thought the revenge guy angle thru Yong San was a weird one to have in the story but his perspective actually propels DS to go to the US and accept the move and reality. They also have to prove that they can be successful.

  104. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

Yes, perhaps @moonstar512. She had it in mind to tell him. Just not as soon as she did.

I like that In Jae finally comes clean with Dir Yoon about who the girl on the swing is.

  105. I just realized the scene in a Bus Stop when Dalmi crying there is a poster that said “Don’t Cry For Me”

    🥺🥺

  106. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

Nice catch @Cleo. I missed that poster.

I can’t abide those rude twins. They had to come in to gloat.

  107. Thank you @GB,

Yes, but the twins will be left behind in the end…

  108. Initially I thought the revenge guy angle thru Yong San was a weird one to have in the story but his perspective actually propels DS to go to the US and accept the move and the reality. They have to prove that they can be successful, too.

  109. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

The touching scene of DM in the lobby looking at the logo.
Dir Yoon : “I heard that the girl on the swing is you.”

“So you asked your father to spread sand under the swing? … I heard that story directly from you father. I loved that story so much for some reason. So much that I started this place.”

She tells her about how her father wanted to buy fried chicken for her after winning the contract. From this meeting, Dir Yoon seemed to know that the daughter would not be money driven, and a lover of fried chicken.

  110. Hahaha @Cleopatra! We noticed the same thing

  111. Yes @moonstar512! 🙂

  112. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

Sa Ha gets a text from CS with a video that will put her to sleep. That’s what he borrowed DS’s cousin’s equipment for. LOL what a boring thing to listen to the numbers of pi.

The most appropriate way for a nerd to show that he loves the girl.

  113. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

Both DS and JP meet Alex about NoonGil. For the first and only time, DS and JP are in complete agreement voluntarily. It is over Grandma and not over DM. Over DM they would always be rivals and opponents.

  114. I like the scene with Dalmi and Ms Yoon. ms Yoon sharing the story of their father made her also remember her dad’s purpose and how similar it is with what her sister and herself. I’m glad Injae came clean on this. The girl on the swing will always remind them of their dad.

  115. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

I like how DM keeps tying up her hair with determination to push on. She does so when she looks for a job and again when she walks to the job interview with In Jae Company.

She’s really consistent… not afraid to be humble and to keep trying her best.

  116. @Janey,

I think that Ms. Yoon went to DalMi to boost her self esteem.
Because her Dad was doing the same. She had to move on.

  117. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@Janey, yes, it would be the similar purpose of the 2 sisters, inspired by their father, that leads to DM going for the job interview and to In Jae hearing DM out at the job interview and hiring her.

  118. Yes Janey,, and I think this is why DM considering to work with Injae too.

  119. And here inside the aircraft DoSan is coding for NoonGil to read the pills as DalMi asked from him.

  120. This episode is just so sad. Like everyone is moving on but with a sad heart. And of course that epilogue with the rainbow nowhere in sight.

  121. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

Epilogue: DS had waited out the rain under shelter. He’d remembered the letter from DM: “Do San, have you ever wandered on purpose? Today, I wandered aimlessly on purpose.”

DS takes the advice of DM in the letter and walks in the rain with tears falling down his face.

“Have you ever let yourself get soaked even though you had an umbrella? … After walking for 30 minutes like that, the rain stopped and an unbelievably beautiful scene unfolded before my eyes. I saw a huge rainbow. It looked as though it’d grant me any wish. Then it suddenly hit me. It’s actually nice to wander aimlessly every once in a while. From time to time it’d be wonderful to sail off without a map.”

DS looks up and sees a break in the clouds but no rainbow. There is a break in the clouds and a pink sky beyond. There’s hope. He’s just got to deal with the clouds first.

  122. So true @GB! Grandma is common interest for Dosan and JP will agree on.

Dosan has more right in asking for Noongil retention though since he created it. And he continues to improve it also.

  123. I think Sa Ha started to have a feeling towards Chulsan after watching the Cute Video of him..

  124. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@Cleo, yes DS is also so consistent. He comforts himself by coding nonstop. He’s always inspired by DM to do more with his talent. Loved that he got the medicines to be identified so soon.

And he does greater things because of her … it’s just not the right time yet, but he didn’t see it on his own.

  125. @GB,

I agree with you. DoSan didn’t know what was he capable of. And sure he couldn’t realize that DalMi was in pain while saying these things to him.

I mean it was obvious that she was crying.

At the same time, DoSan had to go out of his comfort zone and to establish a healthy relationship with hiself first.

  126. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

I guess DS just had to wander aimlessly for 3 years LOL. Next we see him literally on a boat but not exactly sailing without a map.

  127. @GB – so sad Dosan did not see rainbow but lots of clouds. So different from what DM wrote. So bleak.

But the rainbow will appear with both of them in the end in ep16! And with a kiss. I will just keep that in mind to get over this sad episode.

  128. Nam Joo-Hyuk nailed it in DoSan’s crying scene…

  129. Thank you guys for tonight! ‘Til our next watch party. Vincenzo is now waiting for me. Finally the new ep is out. Hehe! Enjoy the rest of the weekend and wishing everyone a good holy week.

  130. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@Janey, Yes, but remember the clouds did not cover the whole sky, there was a break in them and a pretty pink sky beyond which beckoned DS. It was not the end, he just had to work a longer time towards his dream.

  131. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

    Bye @Diane!

@Cleo, Yes, NJH did very well in this show. He was very real, and with raw emotions in those crying scenes.

  132. You know what they say. Every cloud has a silver lining.

I’m sad that they were separating but I’m glad that he was going to the US to earn “beaucoup bucks” to bring home. I’m mercenary that way. If he was going to be sad, at least he’ll be *rich* sad. It’s a double whammy for a hero to be sad and poor at the same time. 🤪

  133. Thank you everyone for another rewatch party!

    Bye @Diane!

@GB, I have noticed NJH from The Bride of Habaek and I really liked him!

  134. Bye, Diane! Be good now.

    Have a blessed Holy Week!

  135. This episode is full of tears..
    Dosan Dalmi Yongsan HJP too..
And after this.. we will see them grow in the next episodes

Thank you everyone for watching together

Thanks Diane for reminder.. time to watch Vincenzo too 😄

  136. Yes, they all need this time jump to grow and have wings and confidence to fly and be visionaries. Ep13 is one of my favorites so looking forward to seeing that in the next rewatch!

@Diane, same here. Vincenzo is next. Join us in our V thread!

@Cleo – those crying scenes of DS were heartbreaking. It’s really ugly cry which I think is part of being young and full of emotions. The older we are, the more composed we seem to be, even with crying.

Thanks for the rewatch!!! Always a pleasure.

  137. Ditto!

The actor did well in his crying scenes. So did the JP actor.

  138. Lol. So you’re going to be back to write your comments on the Vincenzo thread? 👍

Bye everyone! Thanks for a great party. Holy Holy Week! LOL.

  140. Yes. I like that she didn’t mind swallowing her pride and looking for a job at InJae’s company. Good for her.

And I like that Injae took her in and didn’t attempt to sabotage her. That’s what sisters should do. They got into arguments and they had differences of opinions. But in the end, they were still family.

  141. @Janey @Packmule3 @GB Enjoy your Holy Week!

P.S. I really liked Oh My Venus crying scenes too. They were more matured but it hit a nerve too…

I will be around and whatever you decide about our next rewatch party I am in!

    Have a nice weekend everyone!

  142. Thanks everyone, I will see you in two weeks.

  143. Bye 👋🏻 Cleo and GB!

  144. Ok! In two weeks time!!

  145. Yes @PM3. We take our Vincenzo curator roles seriously. 😉

Yes, @pkml3. I really like this show for the family dynamics (and all kdramas actually) and how they fight and forgive. DM finally got over her hang up of being the one abandoned, and the one whose choice was mocked, and IJ got over being made to feel that she’d betrayed dad and DM.

It was good that their sisterhood was stronger than all the resentments.

In the end the family that left (mum and IJ), returned to DM and Grandma. IJ could return because DM always remained a sister to her and invited her back. It was so satisfying!!
