  1. Oh, I totally forgot this is season finale already!!! Thanks for the reminder @PM3. I will miss this cool show. I still have to catch up on the last 2 eps of HC3 and it’s great timing we have Goblin rewatch during weekends soon. I will still get to see KGE.

Thanks @pkml3! Hi @Janey!! Yes, I soooo looking forward to tmr’s Goblin Rewatch Party. I look at Ji Eun Tak in Goblin and I have a hard time thinking of her as Yumi. Even ET as an adult is not like Yumi!!! Kim Go Eun is amazing.

  3. Hello!

I just checked on mydramalist.com and they say on their site that it has 14 episodes. So it ends next week?

Hi @Cleo and @pkml3, Asianwiki and Dramawiki also expect there to be 14 episodes. Did we actually see that it was 12 episode before? (I thought I did). Is there’s an extension? Does this mean that Show is not pre-produced but being shot while aired? But the animation would make that too risky. Or they have all the animation done but can’t fit the plot into 12 episodes?

It does make sense in a way that it should be longer, since Yumi spent many episodes with Woong. If we are to embark on a break up and a new bf, we’ll need more than just 2 episodes, I feel.

  5. Hello agapimenes @GB and @Cleo!!! I would love the additional episodes if it’s 14. I thought they were breaking up this ep11 due to the lie of omission but they’re actually coming stronger with living together. I can relate again with Yumi’s chore cell and how she evades or procrastinate on her chores. I’ll prioritize kdrama watching vs cleaning during weekend, all the time. The “laundry kick” was so on point!!! LOL.

And we get to know Woong more. Even his cleaning style is systematic and algorithmic. We finally get introduced with his AI cell who runs his algorithms like clockwork, an envy to Reason cell who is overworked.

I also like the “what’s wrong” cell and why and how it’s used. Very interesting take on ones desire to reach out and connect to a loved one in a difficult situation.

Is this a good time for marriage? Maybe not yet given their economic circumstances. Let’s see tomorrow’s episode when both men meet each other.

Hi Agapimeni @Janey! I was surprised that this episode had Yumi and Woong going stronger. But we know from the preview that storm clouds are coming. (At a guess, this time it’s because of circumstances in the Marketing Dept which throw Yumi and Bobby together).

Bobby is still a black hole … we are left to wonder if he really has a reporter girlfriend, or if he is just a friendly colleague or if he has been angling to get close to Yumi all this time. If he was just trying his luck in getting Yumi to write and to be recommended for the Marketing Dept, he’s playing a very long game, with no certainty of success.

Or as was mentioned earlier, is he just a player as in, out to get a girl for the heck of it, without being serious. But that’s mighty risky in a workplace. If it goes wrong, he could be blacklisted across the company and all its branches. However, unfortunately, I gather that it’s usually the girl who suffers the fallout of a messy office relationship.

  7. Annyeong,

Here’s hoping for 16 episodes 💚 haha and also that the wait for Season 2 won’t be long 😀

Ep 11… awww welcome to training cell. i don’t say “what’s wrong” enough either haha. i think what i love about my hubby is his ability to say YES. altho added with whining, it’s annoying. but as long as he goes along with what i want, sometimes, better than nothing. coz he ends up enjoying the new adventure at the end. haha.

yea, our housecleaning cell is lazy too. cleaning is so hard even in our little apartment. but if i could, i would totally. wishing my hubby is like Woonga. wow. he’s awesome! total marriage candidate haha. he has Ai and algorithm for everything. hahaha. and when they went grocery shopping. Woonga is so efficient. i like to calculate like that, too. the way they sell merchandize can really be misleading at times. you think you’re getting a good deal, but not really. you’re spending more. tsk tsk. good job, Woonga.

Kudos to Yumi for making all that birthday preparation; baking and decorating the cake. so sweet. Woonga felt the love. until the M question. yikes! idk about the timing of that question, Yumi. let him enjoy his seaweed soup first.

i do love the keyboard gift he gave to Yumi’s first day at her first day in marketing dept. Woonga is soooo thoughtful, he forgot his own birthday. such a selfless act. wow. but i want one of those keyboard. who else want that keyboard? haha

i can understand why all the cells are clamoring for marriage. Poor Reason and Love cells ~ the only ones who really knows the real picture… why Woonga was befuddled and couldn’t answer soon enough. ay yay.

Ep 12… so marriage proposal has sharks guarding it!! Woonga is too much. he has nautisaurus. now we got a Shark tank! daebak!

who else enjoyed that group date gone wild? wow. oh sneaky Ruby. she’s good. Yumi was very amused. i think someone should tell Ruby that Ugi is taken.

watching Woonga communicate with Yumi via facial expressions was entertaining. he could have texted her. but anyhoo, that was fun to watch. why was yumi seated so far away from Woonga anyways? and too close to Babi. the date was supposed to be with Woonga and UGi so understandable they would be seating together. so Ruby was flirting with Babi too. so misleading for Yumi. coz now she thinks Ruby is the crush when it’s not.

but oh no! it’s fun to see Woonga get drunk versus always the female getting drunk. Woonga’s system goes down no matter what the cells do. how many backups was that? so instead of covering Yumi, he covered Babi. hilarious! the whole jacket swap is definite unexpected! they actually wore each other’s jackets and they both looked good on them. surprising coz they have different body types. why did they wear them and then swapped? girls would put them in a gift bag, right?

and Woonga decides to move out 😠 augghghg. i understand men wants to be more secure and not dependent on the girl. but he also doesn’t explain himself well. so that aggravates the situation more. poor Yumi. she keeps getting disappointed. the end is near. have we reached the finale? i want more…

  8. @HKlady, you posted the same things I noticed. I love that keyboard that looks like a typewriter (that’s why Woong said a lot of famous writers wrote on it!). This product placement works for me, now I have to look if it’s available in the US.

That group date and jacket situation was funny. I thought there will be a fight when Babi put his jacket on Yumi. But it ended up to be so unexpectedly hilarious when drunk Woong put his jacket on Babi! Yumi ended up not wearing any jacket. LOL. I also find it weird that when the men were to exchange their jackets that they were wearing them I think it’s to show that either one can “fit” to be Yumi’s bf.

In the marketing team, there’s the annoying teammate (the replacement of Ruby, but I think he is worse) who is a rumor monger. Good thing Yumi had Woong as his “weapon”. But until when?

Woong needs to talk to Yumi about his financial and work situation vs just moving out just because of male pride. The “Marriage” is an elephant Iin The room that they have to address. I understand if he is not ready but I think Yumi wants to know if that is part of his goal or not. Are those friendly sharks or not. They reminded me of Bruce, the shark in “Finding Nemo”. “Fish are friends, not food!”.

  9. I did not like Yumi giving Woong the ultimatum: Come with me tonight, or never see me again. That’s manipulation. I don’t think Woong was right to keep his financial and housing difficulties from Yumi–for a month!–but I do think she should trust him to manage his own life in the way he believes best. He did say his homelessness would be temporary, and he was willing to endure it for the success of his long-term goals.

I’m also frustrated that Yumi doesn’t give Woong enough time to express his thoughts, and cuts him off when he’s ready to do so.

I’m concerned Yumi and Woong persistently fail to communicate and continue to misunderstand each other after being together for a significant amount of time. They are so afraid of revealing their true thoughts, fearing rejection if they reveal their unfiltered selves. They’ll know they’re with the right person when they are confident they’ll be loved even if they belch, fart, stink up the bathroom, make a mistake, and all sorts of other thoroughly human behaviors.

Yumi hates it when Woong hides things from her, so why did she get upset when she lied to him and did secret preparations for his birthday, and it backfired because he wasn’t on the same wavelength? Her heart may have been in the right place, wanting to celebrate Woong, but Yumi needs to be consistent in her regard for transparency.

Ruby. Ruby Ruby. What an unstoppable force she is! I wonder if she can truly be happy, keeping that aegyo mask on all the time. I wonder if even she has lost touch with her authentic self. She craves affection, yet drives people away with her overbearing manners. She may finagle a way to socialize with others, but she won’t be solidly in a social group as long as she’s so insincere.

The more I see of Ba Bi, the more I think he’s a sincere character. He’s hurt by his breakup with his girlfriend: he’s not the one who wanted the relationship to end, and he’s not relieved when it does. And much as I worry about rebound relationships, I don’t see him giving Yumi undue attention once he’s “set free.” He gives Woong respect, and doesn’t actively undermine Yumi’s relationship with Woong. That situation with Ba Bi offering Yumi his suit jacket on a cold night was understandable considering Woong’s impairment from being drunk. Woong was in no condition to think of anyone else’s physical well being, thanks to Ruby’s scheming.

  10. @janey,
i looked up the TYPEWRITER keyboard and the price ranges from $4ooish to $100ish. what??? omg. i want one. i wish i have a computer at home so i can use the keyboard LOL. i only have a laptop. guess i can use it at work, but that would be meh. hmmm. i do love it anyway. this would be a WANT not a nEEd. sigh.

good point on both guys wearing each other’s jacket shows they are both FIT to be Yumi’s BF. even though Woong has a bigger body built, Babi’s jacket looked good on him and vice versa.

i don’t think those are friendly sharks. they’re GUARD sharks. haha. awwww i remember “fish are friends, not food” love it.

    @Welmaris,
good points and i concur. i think that Yumi and Woong has a good thing going here, but it still has plenty of room for growth. knowing there is a season 2 helps us to prepare for the break up. waaaaah 💔

  11. Looks like Episode 13 is being released shortly, rather than the first season ending at 12. Now I’m wondering if there’ll be episodes 14-16 as well.
