I want you to pay attention to this brief scene. We’ve always known that the title of this drama, “Behind Your Touch” refers to YeBun’s psychometric powers. She can see into the past of people, animals, and even insects when she touches their buttocks, rump or rear end.

But in this scene, we get to see another interpretation of the title.

JangYeol is patting her back. Literally, he’s touching her from behind. But he has no psychometric powers. It’s clear from his awkward movement that he’s unaccustomed to giving physical comfort to another person, let alone a female adult.

Nevertheless, if we look behind his touch, we get an insight into his character. YeBun once accused him of having “zero ability to empathize with people,” but in reality, he’s far from being unsympathetic and heartless. He’s good at concealing his real nature under his gruff demeanor. Behind his touch, he’s a caring man. He only needs to be taught how to express compassion in a constructive way.

Having said that, I hope the screenwriter isn’t going to shoehorn a romance between the two leads in these last episodes.

Let’s enjoy the show.

  1. 🎯

    It’s the shaman.

  2. I liked the last episode a lot, even though many loose ends did not get tied.

  3. The romance had to wait 8 months. 😃

I’m glad they did get together in the end.

I was doubting Detective Moon in beating all those men in the warehouse together with their leader. I was like, he beat all of them? 🤔 And they were just seating there waiting. I’m like where’s the backup? 😂

Anyway, I enjoyed the drama because it made me want to keep watching it to find out who was the killer. I’m glad we got it right. 😃

  4. Same here. I enjoyed it, too. The lipstick gag had me laughing. I can’t wear strawberry red lipstick now.

Weird thing, I became accustomed to her sweaters with ruffled collars. I’m looking for one for myself. 😂

The closure eight months later was a good way to end the story. He’s back in Seoul. She’s a famous “dog whisperer.” Ok-hui is dating the teacher and she’s Ye-Bum’s personal driver, manager and coach to interviews. Her aunt married the chief. 😂😂

  5. The lipstick was scary for me. 😂 It looked bad. 😂

I actually like those sweaters. They have a lot here in the Korean clothing stores. Go get one definitely. 🥰

I think the chief waited 30 years for YB’s Aunt? Wow! That’s first love never dies? I’m not sure if she’s his first love though. 👏🏻😃

  6. @agdr03,

Since they were parodying 25-21, I’d like to think that I finally had my happy ending for the lead characters in that drama. Yes. he waited 30 years for YB’s aunt. She was the capricious one. She ditched him because she was (admittedly) attracted to “bling bling” of her future ex-husband. I think she was his first and only love. One of the memorable scenes was when he bought her frilly underwear because he saw her ragged ones that the underwear thief stole. He pitied her then because she used to like pretty things.

    Anyway…

I didn’t know that those sweaters with ruffled collars are fashionable again. I remember wearing things like that 30 years ago. Lol. But I googled them just now and they seemed to be last winter’s “in” thing. Ha! I’ll buy one and it’ll end up stashed in the closet like that bear scarf/hoodie that I bought because of “Hidden Love.” Maybe that can be my Halloween costume this year: a mash-up of clothes that I bought from the internet because I was influenced by Asian dramas.

  7. Oh yeah the playing with the water taps at the school. 😁

I think you can still wear the bear scarf, during winter while you’re trying to water the plants? 😃 it’s only at home.

Otherwise you can give to your future grandkids. ☺️ Or yeah for the Halloween. 😃
