Thanks @pkml3! I didn’t even notice that you’ve already got this one up!!!

You can probably wait until 22 December to open the final thread. This Show has a weird scheduling where there are 4 to 5-day breaks after airing 7 episodes. Episode 26 will air on 16 Dec (tmr) and then nothing until 21 Dec. The last episode will air on Christmas eve!

    EPISODE 27

    SPOILERS

I liked the break from mere lovey-dovey scenes to the prep for the Music Gala. We get a very quick view of the amount of work that goes on behind the scenes. I fancy quite of lot of the effort is volunteered by the Club and may not be covered entirely by the tickets.

I knew it was going to happen and yet I was surprised to be feeling along with the fans and friends, what it would be like for one’s fave celebrity to retire.

But that’s the way to do it. Go out at the peak of one’s career and with a bang, and then go on to more new things, especially in the grooming of more talents in the same line of entertainment. It sounds so meaningful.

I’ve enjoyed the Traditional Music Gala they held. Wish there had been more performances!!

  3. I was really tempted to buy the express package so I could finish the drama over the weekend, but then my daughter’s car broke down so I couldn’t justify spending the money on a drama lol. So I was finally able to watch eps 27 and 28 yesterday.

I also was caught up in QQC’s final performance during the Gala. TJC did a great job.

The stage, lighting, and props seemed to imply that the Gala was some really big production, but why was the audience so small? You would think that something like this would draw a bigger crowd, especially since there were supposed to be multiple dubbing and performing groups involved. But I guess the drama couldn’t afford to hire more extras or the CGI needed to make it seem like there was a larger audience. *shrugs*

I was expecting GS’s cousins to give MQQ a much harder time. Glad to see Grandpa keep them under control lol.

Hi @Stacy, yes, I felt that the audience was somewhat lacking, but I imagined that most were online.

I feel this series specialises in making mild, any conflict that might arise. All dangers are rendered harmless.

@pkml3, if you see this comment!!!

I’m vacillating between asking for a last thread for the final 3 episodes or just changing the name of this thread to “Episodes 25-33 Open Thread.”

I’m leaning towards the latter because there is not much to say about the end of this series and I don’t feel that it warrants a fresh thread.

We’ll go with whatever you decide!

  6. Thanks for the reminder, @GB. Will open a thread.

    Much thanks @pkml3 as always!

  8. Hello Everyone!

I have finished the show and I would like to say something specifically about Episode 27.

It’s my objection and it has clearly to do with the jakkanim here.

It is about Qiang Qing Ci’s retiring and how it was delivered for us. I felt that in the back stage scene, Sheng Sheng Man was oblivious to his pain and internal struggle.

She kinda continue to whine about his decision to retire as a fan (it was repeated three times), while he was heartbroken with that decision himself.

Where was her understanding as his girlfriend?
She hasn’t realized that it would affect him, because he didn’t say anything about him and he joked at first, but I wanted from her to realize herself that it was not an easy decision for him.

They have been together for a while now, and she should know better that he is an introvert as well, but tries his best to communicate with her.

In that scene, Mo was teary himself, Sheng Sheng should be also worried about him and his emotions. She was, but we saw a selfish moment here, before she realized how much it pained him to retire.

And that’s what I have to say about that scene.

P.S. The song QQC sung is one of my favorites from the show!
