While I do think the earlier criticism is on point, how are you liking some of the twists? It is keeping me interested.

Thank you for this thread! I am behind 3 episodes and hopefully I will catch up. Afterall, we will have one week hiatus because of the Awards.
I’m watching this on FF now because all the coincidences just keep piling up to the point of ludicrousness. I’m just curious as to how it will end—I think things are headed towards the FL going back to Joseon but instead of a sad ending there will be some deus ex machina—e.g., the goddess showing up—to bring her back to modern day Seoul or take the ML back to Joseon (not recommended since there will be no cardiologist there!).
A lot of actions just don’t add up—if the grandfather faked an illness so the grandson would marry then why did he get rid of the first fiancée to stop the wedding—what was that about? If the CEO’s right-hand man was really after vengeance against the Jang family then why did he tell the ML where the gang took the FL? And on and on… Plus what’s with that book that conveniently fills itself in? Even the actress playing the mom/Midam CEO looked embarrassed at having to relay this info.
One thing I really appreciate is consistency—for characters and plot lines, and this drama really isn’t providing that now, if it ever did. Sigh. And I had high hopes for it at the beginning.
