  1. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

    Yay! Thanks @pkml3!

We’ll certainly enjoy our rewatch … in a little less than 24 hours time!!

  2. You’re welcome, @GB.

  3. Yeah, thanks pm3.
I remember ep 4 was the one that put me fully in the drama.
There is the SsshHHssRrrOOOooopppllll scene with the surgeon.

  4. I just finished rewatching All episodes. the time travel is more complex than in QIHM. I look forward to discussing it with everybody.

@WE If episode four is the one I am thinking about, It was awesome. We will see tomorrow.

  5. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

Hi All, I’m hanging about! We start in 4 minutes. 🙂

  6. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

    We start NOW!!!

  7. Hi GB, perfect, I need to solve a problem with the video.

  8. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

Hi @WE, I’m having problems with my browser. I have to change to Edge.

  9. HeLLO everyone, we start ya.

  10. Ok, I’ve got time to solve it.

  11. It’s the villain in the past.
We see it thanks to the color filter.

  12. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

Hi @FF, yes… I’m at the part where SW meets the bad guy in the past. He’s time traveled already!

  13. + there is also a kind of movement blur in scenes in the past.

  14. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@WE, yes the colour tells us at once that we are in a different time.

  15. Hi FF!

Here the director does it well.
He doesn’t use a horrible deformed image for the past.

By the way, it pissed me off too much, I just drop “call it love”. I can’t even put the image manually like Signal, because some flashback are very fast and mixed with present. It’s just crap.

  16. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

The sad hyung scene. SW never knew that his older brother was so miserable.

It was fortunate for SW that he met his brother because he forgot to factor in that using new currency would be a problem.

  17. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@WE, pity about Call It Love, but better that you are not annoyed while watching a show. No harm dropping it. I’d still recommend it for the plot.

  18. @GB, and to add more problem to his brother, SW steals his money. ahaha.

  19. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@WE, he needed his brother’s cash or he’d have been hauled into the police station for not having the right currency.

  20. SW’s father. First time I watched that I was impressed by the actor. The word “intransigeant” is made for him.
In the same style, he was one of the best vilain to date, in Empress Ki, as El Temur.

  21. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

The modern day colours are so bright and clear by contrast.

  22. The shop owner should find SW weird because he looks older then his elder brother, yet he calls him “older brother”. But SW is keenly aware of that since he introduced himself as his brother’s senior in the university.

  23. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@FF, yes it was so strange for him to be older than his older brother.

Hah, the sweet chatting with sweetheart scene.

    Next the angry friend scene.

  24. @GB, I know the plot is nice. BTW, I like it. But it’s just my nerves. It put me out of nerves. I become crazy with these scenes, it makes me MAAADDDD.
    Like that:

  25. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

LOL @WE… I’m at the scene where his friend receives the Christmas card from 20 years in the future.

  26. @GB, SW plays a bad joke to his friend.
Poor friend will endure the crazy high-concept now.

  27. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@WE, it was a very smart way to prove to Young Hoon that he did travel into the past and that it’s not his tumour that’s making him have delusions.

  28. The time travel to the past has the old yellow photograph feel, nostalgic.

  29. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@FF, yes, the old yellowed photo look.

  30. Hi all, late, but joining in. Yes quite an episode!

  31. Let’s see how work memories recovering.

    – First the friend doesn’t trust to time travel. He gets a memory of the card, but in a natural way, as if it’s a detail of his past he always had, but forgot.
    – Then, he will trust the time travel is real.
    – Then, he will have memories recovering while keeping his previous past.

    It’s my theory.

  32. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@WE, now we have the scene of Young Hoon going a bit crazy and getting the memory that SW just made. A new memory was created and comes into the present. I like this concept and the logic of this time travel.

  33. SW left a clue for his friend using the Christmas card, smart way to convince his friend of his time travel adventure.

  34. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

Hi @LL, glad you can join us!!

I’m at 20 minutes into the show but you can take your time.

  35. Hi LL, it’s never too late to meet friends. 😉

  36. @GB, I like the way time travel is presented in this drama too.

  37. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

Yes @FF. I like his smarts! I gotta do something about my video. It does this annoying pause thing but the audio continues.

  38. So the “memories recovering” about alternative past need TRUST.
    AND
Same process in W. To goes out of the manhwa, the character needs to trust he’s living in a manhwa.

  39. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

I like that this show deals with the possible fallout of telling his past self that he’s from the future.

  40. As I’m talking about “trust” in SJJ dramas. MOTA is also trust. The character is wounded by virtual reality because he trusts it’s true. (but maybe, it’s a trust more about brain activity than faith).

  41. Hi, @LL.

@WE, I realized that all SJJ’s male leads are smarties.

  42. @GB, oh yes. Meeting the past self is often people avoid in time travel stories, because… well, too complicated. ahah. 🙂

I watched a bizarre time travel movie (alas I don’t remember the name), all characters are the same one. The guy is his son, his father, his mother, and some other people, well the whole delirium. (he changes sex at a point for this crazyness to happens). We end the movie and find out all the characters in the story was only one.

  43. Around 22minutes we finally learn SW’ brother’s goal was a noble one and one for which he gave up his own life and, that was to save his father’s life 12/30/92. Now SW is fully committed to continuing his brother’s mission.

  44. @FF, yeah, the man are always so smart than they guess everything, so she can make flashback-montage about how everything work and lot of revelations without proofs but anyway it’s the truth. lololol.

By the way, I just did the same in my drama script W season 2, more than one time, with the hero Kang Chul. Crazy flashback-montage revelation. Yoooooooooooh.

  45. The rotating corridor, makes me dizzy telling me the bizarre feeling of the child who finds SW missing in a split second.

  46. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

    @WE, what a scary story.

  47. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@LL, yes, brother did tell SW what he wanted to do ie bring everything back to the way it was when father was alive and their mother was in her right mind. Now that SW understands how the incense works, he knows what to do. He has all the dates of 20 years ago and has to hit the right times to change events.

  48. I feel like I am caught up in time travel a bit. In attempt to send a comment, I was told I it was a duplicate which was not true. I even checked and it is not here. So we are well past where we learned SW’s brother’s mission. 🤔🤣

  49. 35:00 – the music is from the french movie “La boom”.

  50. @LL, I got that before when I clicked on post comment twice.

  51. @LL, you are entering a weird high-concept and maybe… THE TWILIGHT ZONE. @@@@@@@@

  52. Shame, he destroy his mother glasses, so his past self can have a date with the queen of the school. And maybe kiss here if he stops to be so shy.

  53. @WE, the title of the song is “Reality” hahaha is there a pun intended here?

  54. Oh smart! His mother says him “you look familiar”. Could be because he’s her son. But in real, remember previous episodes: he meets him in her house when she think he’s a robber.

  55. His mum didn’t recognize him as the intruder to their house previously, even though she found him familiar.

  56. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@FF, thanks for the name of the OST. Reality! What is real but 20 years too early.

  57. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

Maybe she thinks he looks like the robber. LOL.

  58. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@FF At least he gets to spend time with his mother instead of watching the movie with the girl.

    AAAAh! my video paused again.

  59. The series of scenes so excellent leading to the AWESOME cliffhanger.
I was wrong, the ShsHRoorlrLRRpppp scene is in the next episode.

  60. @GB, he gets to spend time with his mother and his younger self watched the movie with the girl hehe he did both.

  61. Now they gave another bit of the puzzle, Min Young is the child of his brother’s lover.

  62. I can’t stay longer, need to fix something on my computer.
Bye bye golden team, see you next week.

  63. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

What a great twist! He did something in the past to make Min Young no longer his girlfriend!

  64. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

Bye @WE, see you next week. Hope your computer gets fixed quickly!!

  65. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@FF, SW was so complacent, so happy that he’d changed the past with his mother, and then the past caught up with him.

Strange that somehow in the process of helping in the past, the earlier change he made by linking Shi Ah with his brother took effect, but only after he realised that Yoon Shi Ah is Min Young. Wonder if it takes his knowing/remembering in order for it to become reality. Hmmm.

  66. @GB, is it the phone that the little girl made to SW”s brother that changes things abit?

    Bye @WE.

  67. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

Oh it was only when his brother answered the phone that reality changed and Min Young disappeared. She became his niece LOL.

  68. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@FF Yes, that’s right. The phone call… only when SW’s brother answered the call then reality changed.

  69. @GB, need to watch more episodes to know. I am checking out, see you next week.

  70. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

    See you @FF! Bye @LL!

  71. @GB, she became his niece? hahaha SW must have regretted giving his brother’s contact to Yoon Si Ah.

  72. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@FF, he did regret it a lot!!! The next episodes are of him not only trying to save his father (and brother) but also trying to change history so that he wouldn’t end up with a niece instead of a gf. LOL.

  73. That set up in this episode is so good as it has been up until this episode. We get more about how the time travel works and the risks of changing the present. We also get a sampling of communication across time lines.

@WE I am wondering what you are referring to with the long string of letters?

@GB There are many kisses in this show. I wonder why I did not remember them. I think I was so focused on the time travel. And they are good kisses.

A suggestion for all of us is that we observe the settings in the different time lines. Because I think that might help us understand what happens later.

  74. I thought I had posted that I would be late joining Because we are sending our daughter off today back to japan.

Either I did not post properly or the post did not turn up.

I look forward to participating more fully next time. I think the episode I thought was most awesome is coming up soon.

  75. Another thought. Having such a strong actor play the young version of.
The male lead Really adds to the quality of this show. Not to mention how good looking they Both are. The slow hero walk in the snow when he is going back to the cafe after visiting his mother Was very attractive.🙂

  76. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

Hi @MM, May your daughter have a good safe journey!

The male leads… yes a suitable choice of actors. PHS could pass off as a younger LJW. Yes they are easy on the eyes. I did like LJW in this show.

  77. I need to become more tech savvy perhaps. I have been using iPad rather than computer for rewatch. Several weeks I’ll get to approximately 50 comments and then have no access to comments for hour or so, then I’ll get all of them.
Want you all to know I’m appreciating your insights. So far, the drama is quite clever, I’m not aware of plot holes if there are any. @MM @GB I agree on the young and “old” male leads.
