That’s the dorkiest tattoo I’ve ever seen on a guy’s chest. I hope his costars on 2D1N won’t poke fun at him too much for the stick-on tattoo.

Let’s enjoy the show.

LOL @pkml3 ‘Clarke Kent’ trope! A pair of glasses will disguise from her that he’s her one true love? 😁

  2. You got it, @GB! 😂😂

  3. I love me some Clarke Kent/Superman!

  4. Me too. I would love some Clark Kent .

How did the tattoo change from the left side to the right side? Am I seeing things?

  5. @Angelwingssf,

    🙂 Mirrors.

The tattoo is on HIS left side.

When we look at him though we see the tattoo on OUR right. But when HE looks in the mirror, we see the heart where it actually is, on his left.

To test this, put your RIGHT hand over your left chest (as if you’re about to recite the Pledge of Allegiance), then

    a) take a selfie ➡️ you’ll see your hand on the right
    b) look in the mirror ➡️ you’ll see your hand on the left

    🙂

  6. Thanks @Packmule3 . Get it now.

  7. Kalimera @Packmule3 et al!

Oh, I like him being Clark Kent. He is suave btw!

Let’s see what it will happen this week. Is Ji Hyuk going to tell her that he is from the future as well?

  8. The actor is tall and good looking.
Indeed, he could play the role of superman. 😉

  9. Anneyong again!

A thought crossed my mind and I had to search it.
Let me tell you something awesome that you may or may have not noticed!

    Timeline

    Episode 1 :

Jin Won came back to 2013 on 04/12. It was the day of her death 10 years prior. So, when she was shocked to find that out that she went back in time, Jin Hyuk saved her and followed her regardless of how bizarre she was acting that day.

That Jin Hyuk who followed her and took her back home was the original Jin Hyuk 1.0 from the original Timeline.

    Episode 4 :

We learned what happened to Jin Hyuk after Jin Won passed away, aka the funeral and his car accident. He came back in 2013 on 04/19 aka a week later.

    Why is fascinating to me?
Because we get to see that before Jin Hyuk 2.0 returned back to the 2013 – 2.0 Timeline, Jin Hyuk 1.0 indeed had feelings and protected / acted on his own about Jin Won 1.0 / Jin Won 2.0.

Still, Jin Hyuk 2.0 doesn’t know that Ji Won 1.0 is actually Jin Won 2.0.

Let us see how that will be dealt… *smiles*

  10. Oooh! Great discovery, @Cleopatra! Thanks.

Yes, it struck me that the date April 19 2013 was significant enough for the director to put it in bold letters, and that I should return to it to mull over some more. You beat me to the punch! That’s great!

Yes, in the first episode, when JiHyuk saved JiWon from getting burned by the hot kettle, and from tripping down the subway stairs, he did those all on his own — without foreknowledge of future events.

However, at that point of time, JiWon was already altering her future. By the mere fact of going back in time, she changed her “fate.” She attacked MinHwan (something she wouldn’t have done in the past) and JiHyuk stepped in to stop her (something he wouldn’t have done in the past because she always behaved exemplary as an employee).

When he brought her home after the incident, gave her money because she left her purse in the office, bought her instant food and ramen, and told her that she was talented…he did those on his own accord, because he wanted to, not because he felt sorry/regret that she would die in the future.

I think that is important to point out because no one wants to feel like she’s an afterthought or an item to be crossed off on somebody’s bucket list of regrets.

JiHyuk’s moment of change happened in Episode 2: when he stopped the elevator. At that moment, he had traveled back in time and had foreknowledge of future events.

    That’s why:

    a. he looked disheveled when he entered the elevator
    b. he stared intently at JiWon before he got in the elevator (he was probably trying to reassure himself that she was still alive and/or was grateful to see her alive)
    c. he supposedly wasn’t feeling well to go in the office that morning but he showed up later in the day
    d. he called JiWon aside to have a talk with her at the terrace.
    e. he had his buddy look for JiWon’s old high school classmate.

    Good discovery, @Cleopatra.

  11. Thank you @Packmule3!

Yes, I tried to remember when Ji Won came back, but I have forgotten. So I checked the episode to find the exact date. Then, I checked when Ji Hyuk went back because I remembered that it was not the same day.

So, when it striked me that he went one week later, I realized that Ji Hyuk 1.0 was indeed with love with Ji Won 1.0 and that discovery is very significant.

If you pinpoint the timeframe you see that we had to pay attention to Ji Hyuk 1.0, in order to realize how Ji Hyuk 2.0 tries to help Ji Won 2.0 – for now – he doesn’t know she is also from the future.

Now, as you have written JiHyuk’s moment of change happened in Episode 2, but because I didn’t have time to further check you gave me the exact scene. Now, I need to rewatch that elevator scene !

So we have a man who really loved her, but didn’t do anything to get her and he regretted it. He actually said so to himself, during Ji Won’s funeral in Episode 4.
So in his second life, he does whatever he can to make her notice him in another light.

    Team Ji Hyuk here… !

  12. I would like To be watching this show. Unfortunately prime amazon in my country does not have a very good selection. Does anyone have any suggestions for where else I can watch this? Trying to access this show on prime in another country has only given me headaches So far.

  13. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

@Cleo, great catch! Yes, this is proof that long before his 2nd life, JH already had feelings for JW but was unable to show it well. No wonder he speaks of having regrets.

So JH is even newer to being in his 2nd life than JW is. And neither one of them realises that the other is back from the future.

I noted that because of JH’s intervention, things that could not have happened in the past took place in Ep 3 and 4. JW herself was surprised for eg when JH called her out on the weekend to get her opinion. That had never happened in either one’s original timeline. So far JW is concentrating on avoiding the bad bits of her past and hoping that someone else will take over the ‘pain’ but with a changing trajectory, she will no longer be able to predict what will happen next.

  14. @cleo
I had posed a question in the ep 4 notes about the timeline. Thanks for doing all the legwork! I remembered her going back on the 12 and him being at the funeral on the 13, but somehow missed that the wreck was on the 19th. I just assumed it was on the 13 also. That means she had the opportunity to have a week in time with the old JH and view him with the new lens of hindsight. Also since she changed her fate, they were able to have a meal together when they hadn’t before (unless there was food in their drunken encounter). Rewatching the elevator scene in episode 2 feels different once you’re aware it’s his first time to see her in his second 2013.
She returned on Friday the 12 and spent the weekend at the library and having a health scan. If he arrived on Friday the 19th, how did he spend his weekend before rushing into work late in episode 2-Assuming that’s April 22? I look forward to that flashback.
There’s a point in episode 1 when he saves her knee from a cart and I’m assuming that’s their last interaction in his timeline 1 and her timeline 2.

  15. Kalimera Unnie!

Yes, in Episode 5 we got to see how they have met in their university days and that they had a past, but Ji Won didn’t remember it. Ji Hyuk is shy and kinda awkward, so changing himself in order to confess is a huge step for him! I have to say that really enjoyed Episode 5.

Also, Sumin is not only a toxic person, she is so messed up that she is making a fuss deliberately every single time. Did you check how innocently and sweetly made Min Hwan furious in order to attack Ji Won?

I do hope she has her karma is a bitch moment. I would like to watch that.

Su Min has a mental health issue for sure. She has an unhealthy obsession with Ji Won to make her suffer for some reason and she is doing so in a creepy way. She is not an innocent person. She is very manipulative.

  16. Hey @birdie007!

I am glad that I cleared that up. Did you see how Episode 5 started? Again giving us the Ji Hyuk’s 2.0 date of returting to 2013.

I really think that Ji Won 1.0 always liked him, but she thought he was unavalaible because he was keeping his distance from her.

I mean did you see him? He is a green flag from Day 1. The guy even built a cat home. Most likely the cat we saw in his home is the cat Ji Won was giving food back in their Uni days. 2005 — > 2013 is 8 years later.

As for their encounter in the bookstore / library before Jin Hyuk 2.0 came to 2013. They had a meal together and there Jin Hyun 1.0 told her that he didn’t want her to quit her job because she was pretty good at it. So, I am glad she saw him and talked to him again, before his switch.

Let us see what it will happen today, after the SuMin’s plotting fiasco.

It is the one person meal prep war. They will try to steal her idea today for reals. I am glad though, that Ji Hyuk 2.0 knows about it as well. It is time for that Manager to leave the company.

  17. GrowingBeautifully (GB)

Hi @Cleo, I hardly have time to watch a drama properly, but I managed to catch Ep 5 so that I can reply to you.

I really liked the long backstory of Ji Hyuk and Ji Won in university. No wonder he regrets so much that he didn’t take the opportunities to befriend her properly. Such a pity that he took such good care of her when she was drunk only to be dissed as an unpleasant-looking old man. JW must have been crossed-eyed when she woke up… how could she consider him old, even if she might not have liked his looks as he slept.

So now that Ji Hyuk is determined not to let the past repeat itself (in terms of keeping JW safe) and also to pursue her properly, I’m all attention.

Ah the farcical BF and evil BFF are acted well enough to get me to say they are hateful characters. Yes there’s something wrong with BFF’s personality that she needs to get her kicks from making JW suffer while appearing to be her best friend. I was trying to find the name of the personality disorder, if it can be termed as such, and you’re probably right or close… it’s some kind of narcissism, where she love bombs JW in order to manipulate her, for her own ends.

She’s behaving like she ‘owns’ JW, when in actual fact, she’s the one in need of JW, clinging to her to get her ‘success’ by stealing from her or making use of her (for eg. to get the internship). In SM’s case, she manipulates many people around her by lies and suggestive hints, or by revealing things that she ought not to, in order to mislead them into believing her and into finding fault with JW. Of course I want to see her meet her karma! LOL. Perhaps she really would marry Min Hwan, and that might be the best karma.

I loved seeing MH thrown to the ground (LOL into the sand. Didn’t SM think that the girl talk in the Break Room was about dabbling in sand?) He’s such a pathetic jerk, that although he had the right as BF to stand his ground, he ran away like a twerp.

I, too was so pleased that Ji Hyuk did confess how much he likes JW. It’s too soon in the Episode count, but I really wanted JW’s smart brains to suspect that he knew a lot more than he should and that he might be from the future too.

    The Kitten – turned Cat
Ah, the backstory gives us the history of the Cat. I wonder if it’s the same one, because it’s the same colour. The Cat brings JH into JW’s orbit, and again a cat causes the accident that brings him back 10 years into the past to right the wrongs around JW.

Interestingly, JH does not seem to have anything else that he regrets, because he’s not trying to change anything else except what happens to JW. 🙂

  18. I am so glad I started watching this show. So far it is the time travel transmigration show I have been wanting to watch.

About the red cat. It would be pretty old for a cat in 2023. I Do wonder if it has some supernatural power.

  19. I watched ep5 and this drama grows on me.
It’s not boring and there are enough annoying characters to cause conflict.
Add to the fake-friend and ex-husband, a little chief in the company.

Directing is well made. It’s kinda obvious when going out of “My Demon”.

    Flashback: the little cat.
I wonder if this is his cat later and also:
Is this the same cat causing the car accident?

    54:03 – It’s silly to bring this up, but…
Soo Min sees Ji Won and Ji Huyk and does a monologue:
“I came to see her arguing with Min-Hwan.”
Indeed, one might wonder why she’s here. Is it by chance? No, but I find it amusing that the writer uses an unnatural, under-the-nose line to give the information. It’s clumsy, but I think the writer was aware of it, and chose this quick and easy solution. The important thing is that the audience understands without ambiguity.

Soo Min is well written is the way she’s manipulative. Often great time to see her.
Min-Hwan has such a nerve you want to punch him, and the judo scene with Ji Huyk is really here to satisfy and liberate the audience hate for the character. 🙂

The writer often looks for an unexpected ways to drive a situation. Example: when Ji Won thinks Ji Huyk has a girlfriend. Instead of telling her she’s his sister, he calls her on the phone (and she answers back).

The cliffhanger: starts with a fake kiss and ends with a fainting spell. Excellent!
That said, it’s nothing new – I seem to recall a similar scene in “From now on showtime”.

  20. Use of dramatic irony.

Dramatic irony is when the audience knows of a threat or something unpleasant about to happen to the protagonist, but the protagonist doesn’t know it.
This is often used to create suspense.

But here, this principle is subverted and applies not to the protagonist, but to the villain!
Every time Soo Min says something seemingly nice, we know it’s actually obnoxious.
But the protagonist knows it too! Only Soo Min doesn’t know she’s out in the open.
In this process, the protagonist serves the audience as an alter-ego, but offers an additional layer: how will she react to what Soo Min says? Would we do the same?

  21. Oh man, the ending of ep 6! The curse of watching a show while it airs…waiting a week for the next ep T.T

LOL…so many comments on MDL about the BTS songs 😀

  22. Ep 06 – Live watching.

01:20 – Repetition of the cliffhanger.
How can little Park Min-Young support the weight of big, strong Na In Woo? Did they use a stud behind her buttocks?

01:28 – Soo Min makes herself beautiful to seduce Min Hwan.
And pretends to be surprised that he’s hurt. hey hey hey.
An important detail: at the end, she asks him “Are you hurt?”
Which makes a perfect transition to…

02:25 – … an ambulance arriving at the hospital and…

02:36 – … Ji Hyuk passed out, in the emergency room!
    Answering the question, “who’s hurt”.

02:52 – Ji Hyuk wakes up. Shot from above.
Identical to previous shots, when he wakes up (with the heart tattoo).
    Any intention of time travel?
He’s overworked. A result of his extra memories? (+10 years).
Another good transition, the doctor ends up telling him he has stomach problems, and…

03:50 – Ji Hyuk asks the doctor to examine Ji Won for stomach problems (otherwise more serious).
Ji Won says she’s had scans, but can’t answer when asked why.
Here, I notice the good acting!
The dialogue is full of subtext. They doubt each other about “how you know more than you should”?
    Excellent.

05:30 – Soo Min’s goal is to seduce Min Hwan.
But she prevents the kiss at the last moment. Surprising! So, good!
Either to make him crazier with desire, or she has an idea in the back of her head, to manipulate him into doing something before she gives in to his advances. kha ha ha.
Later, yep, she tests his resolve.
There’s a process I like here, I’d already mentioned it for Bora Deborah: there’s no mystery about what’s going to happen overall. We’ve got spoilers! But it does make us curious about HOW it’s going to happen.

    07:40 – Ji Hyuk, “I’m a nice guy.”
I wouldn’t dare say that. But surprising. So, good!
I like Na In Woo better in this role than in “River where the moon rises”. Solid and charismatic.

    11:52 – Ji Won wakes up. Monologue “I didn’t sleep a wink”.
Just before, perhaps the same for Ji Hyuk.
This gives the impression that Ji Won is beginning to have a love interest in him.

13:00 – Eun Ho brings Ji Won breakfast.
If anyone can help me because I’ve forgotten: it seems to me that Eun Ho has reconnected with Ji Won because of Ji Hyuk. I don’t understand why. Is it a possible love rival? Or doesn’t he care and just wanted justice? Or was it a way of alerting Ji Won to the fact that her best friend is going behind her back?

16:20 – After listing stupid “no relationship in the company” rules, Ji Hyuk asks Min-Hwan to break up with Ji-Won. 😀
A good subversion, since it’s usually the bad guys who have the nerve to ask such things. Abuse of power!!! 😀
    + Physical threats. 😀 😀 😀

    18:10 – Min-Hwan + Ji-Won.
Not much to say, except to rejoice at this avalanche of garbage from Min-Hwan. Despicable! ahaha.
Ends with a good transition, JW: “Did you go straight home yesterday?”…

    19:31 – Flashback of Min-Hwan accompanying Soo-Min home.
All he gets is a kiss on the cheek. That bitch wants to drive him crazy. lol.

    21:10 – I note a good trick.
Slow-motion scene, Ji Hyuk and Ji-Won pass each other without saying anything, but:
Voice-over of his thoughts (flashback) but as if he’s telling her now + Short scene.

22:40 – Ji-Won lends her credit card so Min-Hwan and Soo-Min can eat together.
lol, hence the title of the drama…..

23:05 – Ji-Won has to eat with the last pushover in the story.
The head of the department, Kim Kyung-Wook. With a connection to another jerk, director Wang Heun-In, seen in the conference room.
The bastard kicks her off the team! Very funny scene.

    26:45 – Min-Hwan and Soo-Min’s meal.
With enough assholes in a story, there’s never a dull moment. ^^
There are little whispering sounds of voices, like a crazy brain psyching out.
Oh Shit! The way he drinks his wine! It’s like he’s rinsing his mouth out with toothpaste. lol.

    29:00 – That bastard Kyung-Wook keeps Ji-Won’s idea.
He just wanted to fire her, and work with Wang Heun-In.
Here, I’m at a loss when it comes to the organization of this company and its hierarchy.

    30:40 – Min-Hwan has spent 340,000 won.
    That’s about 243 dollars.

    31:00 – Is director Wang Heun-In Ji Hyuk’s superior?
And Ji Hyuk is just affiliated with the president’s family.
But why then is Ji Hyuk general manager?
If not, Ji Hyuk understands that Ji-Won has been fooled about her food project.

34:00 – Ji Hyuk tells Ji-Won that he wants to help her, without expecting anything in return.
I think he’s sincere, in the sense that he wants to right the wrongs he knows from the future.

35:50 – He forcibly recruits her for the Judo class.
Note: apart from knowing how to defend herself, this could also develop her fighting spirit for corporate battles.

    37:20 – @Pm3, a good time for a screenshot.
Ji-Won facing Ji Hyuk on the tatami. He’s two heads taller than her, lol!
Argument around that she must rely on his help if she’s not strong enough. But she eventually manages to knock him down.

41:00 – He tells her “don’t forget to scream” (in combat)

41:30 – Of course, her fighting spirit is now awake.
And she’s thinking about taking down that asshole Kim Kyung-Wook.
She has a tactic planned, but we don’t know what it is yet…

    43:58 – As Hee-Yeon eats the cannelé:
Visual insert, drawing of goats in a meadow 😉

    46:20 – Imagination insert:
    Kim Kyung-Wook in judoka outfit.

49:50 – Mrs Yang asks to see Ji-Won’s proposal before giving it to Kim.
We guess Soo Min turned her brain beforehand, lol.
Ji-Won wants to use Wang for promotion.

50:30 – All the directors sign the proposal.
Mystery, what twisted scheme has she cooked up?
Kim makes the mistake of saying that the idea of using Wang came from him.
The whole thing’s going to fall apart, of course, and he’s going to take it all in the neck, ahaha. We’re looking forward to it.

53:35 – Close up on screen: date of Wang’s business trip.
I guess she’s trying to replicate the scandal of his indecent attitude on the plane.

54:10 – Then Soo Min and Min Hwang come along to undermine her confidence. So annoying! 🙂
    Chicken product placement?
She leaves after mentioning the beautiful view to eat chicken (she wants to set them up together).

56:00 – Wang on the plane. Receives call from Ji Won.
Just as I guessed. The phone call was to trigger him.
    But there’s also a setup:
She arranged for him to have a seatmate.
Then someone else on the plane to film the scene.
    He’s really infamous.
He blows his nose on the plane (note: it’s frowned upon in Korea to blow your nose on public transport). Then throws the handkerchief on the ground for the stewardess to pick up. INFAME!!! He’s such a jerk.
OOOPS: I just realized, the accident on the plane was a memory from the future!!! And yes! Just like in Reborn Rich, she used an unlikely event from the future.

01:02:00 – She celebrates her victory on the roof.
    She’s eliminated two enemies!
Ji Huyk comes to see her.
    Following the conversation on BTS.
    Series of flashbacks!!!
She doubts, “is he from the future?”
    Ditto for him.
    Cliffhanger!

  23. I think one of the ways Korean drama attracts its audience Is by Creating the feeling in the audience that they are in the know. This is an example here with the b t s songs.

  24. Kalimera Everyone,

Let us say that I listen to “Dynamite” at the moment! What a clever way to have ARMYs on board… *smiles*

  25. Empress New Clothes

@Cleopatra: such a good catch of them dying and returning a week apart!
definitely adds a different layer to ML’s deep subterranean wells of feelings for FL

One part in Ep 6 literally made me LOL (even on a re-watch) — when she successfully flipped him in judo, and his astounded mates were commenting:
“Didn’t he tell us NOT to go easy on her?”
    “Yeah.”
“He flipped way too easily didn’t he? I mean, he was jumping through the air.”
    “Yeah he jumped really high.”

I actually enjoy MMH more than Perfect Marriage Revenge (even though both have very similar premise). I just hope our OTP ends up together HEA! (the webtoon it is based on is apparently darker in some places)

  26. I am also enjoying this more than p m r. I am enjoying the depiction of the main couple’s relationship. More than I did in p m r.

  27. The webtoon is “darker”? Oh nooo. Then let’s hope the screenwriter hired to make this kdrama adaptation knows her job and will streamline the original source.

One difference between a webtoon and a kdrama is the duration. With webtoons, it makes commercial sense (i.e., more lucrative) to prolong a successful webtoon indefinitely. Subplots can be added to make the story longer, more interesting, more attractive to more readers, etc.

A kdrama on the other hand only has 16 episodes. The extraneous subplots will have to be edited to fit the narrative.

  28. @Empress New Clothes,

Good to see you here! He is such a sweetheart? He let her flip him over. I was happy when she screamed btw! Sometimes, it is needed!

I have read on MDL that “Perfect Marriage Contract” as a webtoon came out later than “Marry My Husband”.

Still, we are almost halfway and next week they will start getting closer.

I do hope the trailer for the upcoming’s week episode 7 is misleading, because as it seems after hearing Ji Won’s story, uri Ji Hyuk believes he will die in the future as well and lets momentarily Ji Won-ah to the Chef?

    Shiro! 😛

  29. @WEnchanteur

Regarding the business hierarchy, director Wang is JH’s superior and JH is the superior of department head Kim. JH is the president’s grandson, but no one knows except his step-sister and JW. And JW only knows because she lived through JH’s succession as president already (shown in ep 1 I think).

  30. @Stacy, thanks, I understand more now why JH couldn’t intervene directly to give back the food contract to JW.

As I think about it, one of the important point of the episode was about: JW needs help to fight back, and JH proposes her more than one time, even on the tatami.
But she put him down on the tatami.
As a relation to this, she solves by herself the food contract problem.

I was a bit lost at the start of the final scenes when they speak about BTS, because I don’t know the pop-band and when they did their song. But nicely, the writer put text inserts after, to give the date, and make us understand it’s information from the future.

As the songs are also used as background music here, it’s quite a bit hit for the audience.

  31. Empress New Clothes

Re: BTS songs — I love this plot device of revelation because it’s so natural, resonant and loaded.

Natural: cos she’s listening to her playlist to celebrate her private win, dropped her phone and he saw her BTS playlist

Resonant: cos we all live our lives by the mixtapes and playlists that dominated the various eras / seasons of our lives (at least I do!)
We all know how the right song can instantaneously transport us back to a time, an event, a key emotion just like a flashbulb memory. So this plot device works cos it is rooted in some form of verisimilitude

Loaded: The moment there was a *beat* in the script, and they look at each other with dawning realization I immediately Googled the year of release for the songs and BINGO. Their respective choices were also very telling and worked into the script as a parallel commentary on their emotional inner lives underneath their current charade

(by way of comparison: in PMR the audience finds out maybe 2/3rd into the story arc that ML is *also* a time-traveler, and the FL finds out even later than the audience)
    ==================

I will leave here the lyrics for Spring Day (ML’s choice) – a poignant choice (not foreshadowing I hope!)

    English Translation:
Miss you saying this makes miss you even more
Miss you even though I’m looking at your photo
Time’s so cruel I hate us
Seeing each other for once is now so hard between us

It’s all winter here even in august
My heart is running on the time
    Alone on the snowpiercer
Wanna get to the other side of the earth holding your hand
Wanna put an end to this winter
How much longing should we see snowing down
To have the days of spring friend

Like the tiny dust tiny dust floating in the air
Will I get to you a little faster
If I was the snow in the air

Snowflakes fall down and get away little by little
    I miss you
    I miss you
How long do I have to wait and how many sleepless nights do I have to spend
    To see you
    To meet you

Passing by the edge of the cold winter until the days of the spring
Until the days of the flower blossoms
Please stay, please stay there a little longer

Is it you who changed or is it me
I hate this moment this time flowing
By we are changed you know,
    Just like everyone you know
Yes I hate you you left me
But I never stopped thinking about you not even a day
Honestly I miss you but I’ll erase you
Cuz it hurts less than to blame you

I try to exhale you in pain like smoke like white smoke
I say that I’ll erase you but I can’t really let you go yet

Snowflakes fall down and get away little by little
    I miss you
    I miss you
How long do I have to wait and how many sleepless nights do I have to spend
    To see you
    To meet you

You know it all you’re my best friend
    The morning will come again
No darkness no season can’t last forever

Maybe it’s cherry blossoms and this winter will be over
    I miss you
    I miss you
Wait a little bit just a few more nights
I’ll be there to see you
    I’ll come for you

Passing by the edge of the cold winter until the days of the spring
Until the days of the flower blossoms
Please stay, please stay there a little longer

  32. Empress New Clothes

@Packmule3: Uh yes, it was somewhat…darker.

No spoilers for anyone here, but let’s just say in the original timeline of webtoon, Ji Hyuk did not die in a simple car accident trying to avoid being a veritable Truck of Doom to our furry feline friend who dashed across the plot…SORRY! road I mean.

So fingers crossed – writer will do a great job of adaptation and give us what we dearly wish for (I signed up for a romcom, right? RIGHT??)

  33. Empress New Clothes

Oh dear, I think I lost my entire post on the BTS songs and why I think that’s a brilliant plot device for revelation as compared to PMR.

So anyhow here are the lyrics to BTS’ Spring Day again (totally a parallel commentary on Ji Hyuk’s inner emotional life of regrets, loss, and dramatic irony)

    English Translation:
Miss you saying this makes miss you even more
Miss you even though I’m looking at your photo
Time’s so cruel I hate us
Seeing each other for once is now so hard between us

It’s all winter here even in august
My heart is running on the time
    Alone on the snowpiercer
Wanna get to the other side of the earth holding your hand
Wanna put an end to this winter
How much longing should we see snowing down
To have the days of spring friend

Like the tiny dust tiny dust floating in the air
Will I get to you a little faster
If I was the snow in the air

Snowflakes fall down and get away little by little
    I miss you
    I miss you
How long do I have to wait and how many sleepless nights do I have to spend
    To see you
    To meet you

Passing by the edge of the cold winter until the days of the spring
Until the days of the flower blossoms
Please stay, please stay there a little longer

Is it you who changed or is it me
I hate this moment this time flowing
By we are changed you know,
    Just like everyone you know
Yes I hate you you left me
But I never stopped thinking about you not even a day
Honestly I miss you but I’ll erase you
Cuz it hurts less than to blame you

I try to exhale you in pain like smoke like white smoke
I say that I’ll erase you but I can’t really let you go yet

Snowflakes fall down and get away little by little
    I miss you
    I miss you
How long do I have to wait and how many sleepless nights do I have to spend
    To see you
    To meet you

You know it all you’re my best friend

  34. I hope this reference to bts does not call in the army!

On a side note there was a big heart in appreciation to BTS on a beach I was in in Central america. That was when I realized just how popular b t s is.

  35. @mm The cynical side of me thinks about what a marketing Employ this is!

  36. ploy

I am confused about the episodes. I have watched episode 7 and 8. And they seem to be what people are talking about here as episodes Five and six. Since I cannot access prime I am watching otherwise. Can anyone clear up the broadcasting schedule for me?

  37. @monmor,

New episodes drop on Monday and Tuesday on Amazon prime. The “other sites” usually follow on the same day, depending on how quick their uploader is on the ball.

  38. I just checked. Only 5 & 6 are up on Amazon. Maybe Korea is ahead. 🤷‍♀️

Don’t post spoilers here, though. The new thread should drop on Saturday.
