As FYI. I recommend Viking for Mediterranean cruises and Royal Caribbean for the Caribbean (of course) and Alaska. To me, Carnival is like economy and part of the appeal of the cruise for me is traveling with luxury. I want everything gleaming, majestic and serene. I don’t like shrieking kids, rowdy teens, and drunk and boorish adults as shipmates.
