What Are We Watching in November 2026?

I can’t be greedy this month. Thanksgiving is just four weeks away and its core message is gratitude, family and friends bonding, gratitude, and God’s abundant blessings.

On my plate, I have “100 Days of Deception” till the end of November and since the finale coincides with Thanksgiving festivities, who knows when I’ll get to watch the last episodes. “Doctor X” will end in mid-November. “Make Me Tingle” ends this week.

I’m thankful for these dramas that have curbed my occupational stress these past weeks, and I’m looking forward to these new dramas to land on my plate.

2. Sword & Silence

From soompi:

“Sword & Silence” is a historical drama that tells the story of how the small kingdom of Silla overcame the more powerful kingdoms of Goguryeo and Baekje as well as China’s Tang dynasty to unify the Three Kingdoms.

Cast: They’re mostly ahjussis. Lee Hyun Wook, Jang Hyuk, Kim Kang Woo, Park Sung Woong
Episodes: 28?!!! Uh-oh. I’ll see how long I’ll last.
Start Date: Saturday, November 14
Airs on Saturdays and Sundays
Where to Watch it: Netflix
Network: KBS

I’ll watch a few episodes to give me a break from the Joseon epoch and Japanese occupation. Since this isn’t going to be an easy watch, who knows how how long it’ll keep me interested.

I only spent a half-day at the Gyeongju National Museum, a museum about 2 ½ hour train ride from Seoul, which is entirely devoted to preserving artifacts from the ancient kingdom of Silla. I wish I could’ve spent more time there! I did buy a set of porcelain sauce bowls and other trinkets designed to look like the famous “Smile of Silla”. The smiling face is Silla’s counterpart of the Mona Lisa.

Notice that I don’t have Shin MinAh’s “The Remarried Empress” on the list? I’m not in the mood for another “King: Eternal Monarch” and “Perfect Crown” alternate-Korea-kingdom romance drama.

I don’t know about cdramas. I want something light, @ibisfeather, because cdramas can be tortuous.

What about you? What are you watching this month?
