Poem a Day: Low Ratings?

I now know who to blame for the dismal rating.

It’s because this guy is the lead.

Sorry, actor. I thought you looked good but after watching you for 12 episodes , you just don’t have the charisma or magnetism that I expect from a lead star.Β  😈 You’re no Gong Yoo.

And sorry Oppa-fans. He can’t carry the show. πŸ˜‚ I tried to like him, too.

Incidentally, according to soompi, his caption says, β€œYou have to look closely to find beauty.”

This is MinHo’s caption:Β  β€œYou have to look for a long time to love.”

And this is BoYoung’s:Β β€œYou too.”

hahaha. Didn’t I use the hashtag #himtoo for MinHo?

Hmmm… I think there are at least two interpretations to this.Β  One, BoYoung DOES have to look a long time to love, like MinHo. However, she easily finds beauty and poetry in everything so Ye’s quote doesn’t apply to her.

Two, she’s addressing MinHo. Think of it, like a conversation.

Dr. Ye: May I give you some advice?Β You have to look closely to find beauty.
MinHo: You have to look for a long time to love. Just kidding!
BoYoung: What?! You too!

Here’s how the posters are arranged:

  1. I have been a lurker this entire time you picked up, “A Poem a Day.”

I find this post hilarious yet so effective. πŸ˜‚

Minho and Boyoung were definitely having a conversation there.

  2. ⁉️ Why didn’t you delurk sooner? I needed somebody who could sub. 😈

I don’t really know if that was the intention of the poster – to have MinHo and Boyoung “converse” with each other.

All I know is that I’m going to rattle the cages of YeLiners who check out my blog (like why do they come here?) and I thought an imaginary conversation between MinHo and Boyoung, while leaving out Mr Advice, would do the trick and annoy them. πŸ˜ˆπŸ€¦β€β™€οΈπŸ˜œ

Anyway, I did take into account the layout of the poster. Basically, MinHo was cockblocking Dr Ye. πŸ˜‚

It’s an odd layout. You would have thought that Boyoung would be placed in between the two men to denote the love triangle but nope, she was placed after MinHo.

Then when I consider that Hangul is read top to bottom, then the “You Too” would definitely come out as BoYoung’s retort or comeback to MinHo’s “You have to look a long time for love.” πŸ˜‚

So yes. It’s too early to give up on Bo-Ho. The kiss is a doozy. But I’m going to have fun while sassing Ye.
