Anybody here following the Ghost Detective? How did it go?

I’m going to be a good witch tonight so I won’t gripe on how banal the story became after Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving). That was when the writer dismayed me with that plot twist and the thriller deteriorated into nothing more than an ill-fated love story with a hunting game for Lee DaIl’s dead-or-alive body.
Oh well.
The little ghosts and goblins knocking on our door tonight will receive TREATS unlike the hapless viewers of The Ghost Detective who were tricked instead.
It never recovered after that twist!
***SPOILER*** He dies in ep 15 finally but wait he reappears in ep 16 and now he is the ghost detective with his mortal team!
Took me three weeks to finally pick up the drama again after the twist from episode 8. It got draggy from there with them fixing Sunwoo Hye’s mischief one after another and going on a chase looking after Da Il’s body – in which somehow, she was always one step ahead of them. Him being ‘alive’ served a purpose nearing the end and he did become the real ghost detective. Fans were asking for Season 2 but with how it went, chasing after a ghost for 16 episodes? Uhh, no thanks.
