He’s Psychometric: Ep 15 Non-negotiables

I’m traveling today.

Here’s my short list of non-negotiables, Ms Writer and Mr Director.

1. Jaein and Lee Ahn live.

2. Jaein and Lee Ahn stay as a couple.

3. Jaein’s dad is exonerated and lives long enough to see grandkids as cute as young Jaein and Lee Ahn were.

As for the Sungmo and his family, it doesn’t matter to me if they end up as worm food. It would be nice if Sungmo were to return to his big reliable Hyung role in Lee Ahn’s life but …. 🤷‍♀️ While it’s true that “It’s only with the heart that one sees rightly. What’s essential is invisible to the eye,” it’s also equally true that “What has been seen, cannot be as unseen.” 🤪 Who would have thought that a quote from Antoine de Saint-Exupery would be challenged by a 21st century meme?

Regarding the other couples, like Jaein’s aunt and the cop, and Jaein’s girlfriend and Daebong, the resolution of their relationship woes doesn’t matter to me. I think that the aunt will get her happy ending, but with my perverse streak, I want Daebong dating another person. (No, with not that gas attendant/worker. I think she tried to cheat him with her wages. Lol.) Daebong should move on with his life (and not become obsessive like Sungmo’s dad) and the girl should suck it up. It has nothing to do with being a “single mom” or noble idiocy. The show simply hasn’t convinced me enough that she regards Daebong more than a friend in her time of need. And their minor love story bores me.

Talk to you later! Enjoy the show!

  1. btw,, sung mo is the real killer.. for the sake of his mom new identity.
i guess he also killed all patient too.
the dad never lied about it..

  2. 😂So he killed everybody in the apartment!! Whoa!!

Good one. Lee Ahn has been living with the killer. Goodness!

Then he can die. I won’t have ZERO problems with his death then. 😈 And Jisoo just saved herself a lot of heartache by dying first.

    Thanks for the heads-up. 👍

  3. Seongmo ended up being the actual killer and I’m so conflicted about where this drama is going now

  4. Hmm…I am still unconvinced that SM killed the dad. Call me stubborn but I think dad did the killing and SM staged the death scene and set fire to the apartment. If he were the killer, why bother keeping stalker dad alive? Why not kill him, be done with it and walk away and hide? His mother would’ve been released anyway. He didn’t have to walk back into the station and testify/get JI to dig further? 🤔

I think he visited the ladies, heard stalker dad come by, left the ladies to go upstairs to alert LA’s father (but they weren’t home). Stalker dad killed ladies and left, SM came downstairs and saw the carnage, staged the death scene and set fire to the apartment.

  5. 👍 I like that plan too. We shall see. The writer threw us a curve ball but as long as story works out, I’m fine either way. Sungmo’s not one of my non-negotiables.

  6. So jisoo is the lucky one cause she die first and didnt know that seung mo is the real monster.

  7. I haven’t seen the episode, only videos in instagram. But my initial reaction was did Sungmo’s Dad actually help him give his Mother a new identity?

It was Sungmo that brought in the luggage in the ladies apartment, that’s for sure. Something must have happened somewhere for Sungmo to get the luggage but where was his Dad while this was happening? Or could it be that after Dad drops off the luggage along the hall Sungmo saw him and JaeIn’s Dad too so Sungmo said to JI’s Dad that that man was the one whose hurting them and so JaeIn’s Dad runs for him leaving Sungmo behind and that’s when he saw the luggage, kill the ladies to frame his Dad and planned the fire. Sound crazy? LOL!

I’d still like to think Sungmo did not do the killing but LA’s reading are much better than before and that was what he saw. I mean it looked like it was young Sungmo at the door that the lady saw before she was stabbed.

I just want a happy ending for JaeIn and Lee Anh but yes they will need a couple of years to start anew. I want a kiss in the last episode. I hope JaeIn’s Dad can start again too. I hope Daebong finds another person to love, it’s a pity because SH’s daughter likes him.

A lot of I hope there. LOL!

Let’s wait and see. Safe travels @pakmule3 !

  8. not to be annoying, but i think the writer did read this blog and decided to proof us wrong about the real killer, lol 🤪

i was so mad that he really is the killer/arsonist, and same i feel Jisoo is lucky not knowing all the truth about the man he loved. ah the world/ writer is such meanies to Lee Ahn 😡 its like he did something very bad in his previous life to receive this fate. Seongmo will not die, he’ll be in prison, maybe for the rest of his life, so ironic. 😑

Now i really need happy ending for Jaein and Ahn, and end it with a sweet hot kiss where Jaein actually move her lips please. at least the director/writer owes us that for making them cried bucket tears (and to replace the CPR kiss, lol, it was so real, she did a good CPR job btw).

one thing in my mind, why Seongmo wants Jaein to help Ahn with his ability so that Ahn could read him when he really is the killer/arsonists, he wanted to frame his dad but if Ahn know his secret how does that make sense? Maybe he really intend to put himself in jail at the end for redemption (after he’s sure the stalker dad will no longer harm his mom), he’s been meeting the pastor all these time right. aahh but i wish the dad did manipulate them and is the real killer and arsonist here 💔

Anyway, safe trip and have fun @packmule3! =^^=

  9. I’m shocked! Just finished watching and that was sad that Sungmo did become a monster like his Dad. He cried for Jisoo but it didn’t made me feel better. Sungmo’s Mom must have told him to confess about the apartment murder and fire. That scene where he was looking at the cross, he was ready to face his punishment.

Poor Lee Anh! Suffering a cardiac arrest because of his reading and what it meant for him. I want to hug him so bad. 😢

Yes, it looks like Sungmo will go to prison for life base on the pic that I saw on instagram. Oh so sad, to think this drama started light and funny. Let’s hope the writer will tie it up good to give Lee Anh and JaeIn new life and a new chapter.

Now I really need happy ending for Jaein and Ahn, and end it with a sweet hot kiss where Jaein actually move her lips please.

    This! ☝️ ☝️ ☝️ Now we’re talking! 🤣

  10. @agdr03 i want to hug him too 😭 there’s a preview for tonight’s episode where Ahn facing away while crying when Seongmo arrested (i assume this is the scene), it is so heartbreaking, its like a nightmare which come true..

IKR! she needs to move her lips and face Park Jinyoung bravely.😆

  11. Do you think she’s feeling shy to JinYoung? 😄 I saw her other kiss scene on another drama and she’s ok there. Hopefully they’ll give us a good one so we can forget about the pain and hurt.

Agree, it’s heart wrenching! Sungmo felt bad for LA and JaeIn because of what he did but LA’s got the most bad side because he was living with Hyung and treated him as his only family. 😔

  12. Aah, i have never seen her other kiss scene, where can i see it? Idk if she really shy SHY, but in the hospital kiss scene, she’s closing her eyes thruout the kiss, there was time when she opened her eyes but saw Jinyoung hasnt finished yet and then she immediately closed her eyes, lol (it’s more obvious when tvN posted the slow motion scene for that kiss, haha). But yeah, honestly, i just want to see them happy and maybe can really be a real detective for investigating other cases as Korea’s first psychometric, 😍 beside, Ian needs a job, hahaha..

Seongmo said to her mom that Ahn is the only one who keep him on his feet, their sad fate is just too cruel..

  13. It is a very sad fate. How did we end up this way? I just wanted some light thriller with LA’s Psychometric reading together with JaeIn’s guidance but the backstory that we got was horrible 😞 .

The other kiss scene of Shin Ye-eun was for her other drama but I only saw it on Instagram 😬 I thought their hospital kiss scene was nice ☺️ Next time though let’s make it longer 😂

I’m sure after everything that they’ve been through they will have their happily ever after. The show better do this or else 😠

  14. And the way ahjuma room no 701 said ahjushi when he open the door, it was somehow to misleading viewers in the beginning ep. I bet bcs sungmo wore jaein dad jacket and he dont show up his face infront the ahjuma, that why she called him AHJUSHI. But when she heard his voice, she felt familiar, but then he stabbed her.

And sungmo never trust police. All he did bcs he want to capture his own dad, from stalking his mom.

The question is.. why sungmo dad brought dead body with sungmo mom identity in it?my answer bcs he want to runaway with her, so sungmo cant find his mom.

Where is he when the fire started?i bet he left aprtmn bcs he knew his obsession(sm mom) alr left aprtm.

I bet there is no way to turn twist plot again at final ep.
    so sungmo indeed the killer.
And it was sungmo plan to start fire. To put a blame on his stalking dad, to stop his dad, taking his mom.

I dont have any question why he protect lee ahn and jaein. I think it was bcs his guilty feeling.

Why he want LA to do psychometric? Bcs he want lee ahn to capture him in the end, after his mom save.

    Just my guess.

  16. I refuse to believe that Seung Mo is the real killer. Well I’m still unconvinced… what if Lee An’s readings have become biased? What if the better he got, or the more emotional he was, the more biased his readings become? He was so convinced that Seung Mo was the murderer-arsonist – he didn’t even question it and straight up suspected his hyung. He was so convinced that that became reality for him…

(been following your He Is Psychometric analyses for a while now 😬 – and just decided to comment now 😅)

  17. Same here. Same here.

  18. Same here. I’m not convinced that Lee Ahn understood his readings well and he is the type to go half-cocked on his visions. But I don’t want the writer and director spending 45 minutes of the last episode on proving Sungmo innocent. 😂 I’m saying “Whatever!” Just tie all the loose ends already so we can have our happy endings.

In her other kdrama however, this writer DID have her villain go through a “change of heart” in the last episode so who knows?

I just want closure and for the show to end on a high note, so we can look back at this kdrama and say “Wow! That was good.” Right now, with Jisoo’s death and Sungmo’s depravity, it’s more like a “meh” to me. 😱🤣

  19. Seems to look that way…

She was spared the grief. Or as we say it here, she “dodged a bullet” with that one. But let’s see. As Jaein says, memories can sometimes go wrong and we have to go all the way to the end to find out the truth….

  20. Hahaha. So you’re blaming me for the plot twist?! The writer did this to prove me wrong? 😂😜

I’m annoyed to that Sungmo is the killer and arsonist. It doesn’t make sense. It’s as if he bombed the whole city when he knew that the killer wasn’t even in the city.

    But whatever…

It’s all about the happy ending for Lee Ahn and Jaein now.

  21. Sigh. Read spoilers and it looks like writer turned SM into the killer. Which means he killed the ladies in the home too? 😢 He really is the monster then. I don’t like that ending at all. It means SM played LA/JI and JS this whole time? Poor JS died believing in him. I haven’t actually watched last 2 episodes myself to find out how he could justify doing that…fooling all 3 of them.
